“We were looking for a new Chinese restaurant for celebrating Father's Day. Thought we couldn't go wrong with a place that shared a name with me 😉 this is a very good Cantonese restaurant tucked into the corner of the factoria shopping strip.

We ordered chicken fried rice, beef chow fun, Chinese sausage clay pot, shrimp wonton noodle soup, and braised pork belly. Overall the food was very good. The chow fun noodles were lacking on seasoning but the kitchen stir fried them again with a bit more sauce.

Idk if they were out of it last time, or if they stopped including hot tea with lunch. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They offer to go. They can accommodate individuals or a group of up to 8 at a big round table with a lazy Susan.“

“My favorite restaurant ever. The spicy beef broth is incredible, and all the ingredients always taste super fresh. I love that you can fully customize your bowl depending on how hungry you are or what you’re craving that day. Plus the free ice cream is DELICIOUS!

It gets pretty hectic during peak dinner hours and the seating system is a bit confusing but it is still so worth it.

“To review, this place is meant to eat in groups and be loud and speak to people. Always better to eat fresh, there are several foods that this is a must. Such is the case with any dumpling. If this place is rude to you I would say you deserve it, or if took longer I promise they are making things fresh or something is a process to cook.

The server is the only one, works 6 days a week. All of the staff is very friendly, especially if you come often and have proper manners. Everyone loves a regular.

Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least).
