“This was my second visit to Haidilao, China's most famous restaurant chain. It has earned an unshakable position in China's dining industry thanks to its rigorous selection of ingredients, outstanding service, and balanced flavors.
Today, I visited the Bellevue location. The decor is consistent with the Southcenter branch—featuring standard Haidilao design language that feels clean and comfortable. I've always believed that restaurants shouldn't display anything unrelated to their brand; Haidilao's space is filled with product introductions, which feels highly professional! Plus, with Halloween right around the corner, the restaurant added some festive decorations that created a great atmosphere!
Flavor: We ordered the Tomato broth and the Spicy Beef Butter broth, both of which were delicious. However, the tomato broth here tastes different from the one in China. Friends often ask me: Why do the same dishes taste so different between China and the US? Even a standard dish like Kung Pao Chicken tastes totally different. I think it's largely because of differences in soil, air, and water, which naturally affect the food's flavor profile. Food in the US feels more raw and earthy, whereas food in China often feels more uniform, yet sometimes lacking in depth.
The beef had a great texture and rich flavor. The tripe was consistently excellent, and every single dish was fresh!
Service: From being guided while waiting for a table to seating, ordering, and food delivery, the entire process was seamless. It was a wonderful dining experience!“

We ordered our usual of: -Vietnamese Sweet & Sour Catfish Soup -Catfish in Clay Pot/Stew -Rice Today we also tried: -Crispy Oysters -Salted Fish Fried Rice -Three Color Dessert -Thai Dessert It wasn't too busy today, we got a table right away for a family of our. The servers were nice and friendly. Our desserts were bought out first, and soon after the main dishes. Our usual dishes is the tasty as usual. Our favorite as a family is the fried oysters. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. Idk if they were out of it last time, or if they stopped including hot tea with lunch. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They offer to go. They can accommodate individuals or a group of up to 8 at a big round table with a lazy Susan.“

“Lee’s Kitchen in Factoria is the same restaurant as the OG located Overlake. This location is much more spacious vs Overlake. If you are near both locations, come here instead. Their most popular dishes are the rice rolls while everyone still complains about how long it takes to make stone pot rice dishes. In case anyone misses the fine print, it takes over 30 minutes. Another couple in the restaurant thought they forgot to make the dish and were yelling into the kitchen. The staff is friendly, though limited with their English. We ordered via the tablet at the front, and the food is brought out to us at the table. A rack on a wall has all the utensils and napkins, etc. Parking is plentiful.

The Food:
Shrimp Rice Rolls $11.99 – 4 Stars
The rice rolls are still as good as I remember them. For some reason, it feels a bit out of balance this time. A lot of rice rolls, not a lot of shrimp. The sauce is fantastic and a must.

Signature Beef Brisket Rice Rolls add Egg, $18.99+$1 – 4 Stars
This is a beefy take on the rice roll. The added egg provided the yellow hue in the rice roll. Some brisket pieces are fattier. Their version is the traditional style with the chewy bit attached; some folks might hate it due to this. The sauce is also beefy. This is almost a soup, not in a bad way.

Clear Soup Beef Offal with Daikon, $12.99 – 0 Stars
This was a sad dish. When they say soup, they meant most broth, with few contents. The daikon wasn’t tender. The offal and the soup didn’t have much flavor. I rarely leave food behind, but I did for this dish.

Garlic Fried Chicken Wings, $7.99 – 5 Stars
The clear winner of the night were their wings. I believe four pieces of plump and fat wings, perfectly crispy and flavorful. I would order this again.“

“All YGF franchise locations should have the same ingredient and soup base availability. This is my one gripe with the YGF brand. I have been to other YGF locations and have found the ingredient availability to be inconsistent. This should be fixed.

“We really enjoy eating at the August Moon Restaurant in Sammamish. It is a bit of a drive for us but worth it. The servers are always kind and friendly. The food is served hot, is very flavorful and nice sized portions. We haven't strayed too much from our favorites and always order vegetarian. Their Singapore Rice Noodles are excellent as well as the Curry Assorted Vegetables. We especially love the Mongolian Tofu. We often get String Beans in Black Bean Sauce which is delicious as well. We've tried some other things but not recently so I don't remember what they were but we have always left very pleased with our meal.“

“Update: I am sad to say that because of the huge changes made to the menu by the new owner, I have to take a star away from my rating. The food has become under seasoned and sometimes the execution is poor. The quality is now inconsistent but broadly underwhelming, with old signature dishes having been removed or turned into something unrecognizable. It is nowhere near where it was three years ago when the founder ran the restaurant. I hope that they reconsider a lot of these changes so I can give the star back.

Not just the best Chinese food in the Pierce/King county area, but the best food. My wife is a Chinese expat and this is pure comfort food for her. Their food is authentic Chinese, the way I remember it from my time there in Henan, and on top of that, it's relatively cheap.

You know it's real Chinese when it's fresh, delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. We drive all the way from Tacoma to come here every time, at least twice a month. It's worth the trip not just because the food is so good, but also because the location is great -- we can do our shopping at Ranch 99 for cool Asian import groceries and other comforts from back home.

On top of all this, the service is warm, sincere, and efficient. My favorite place to eat, period.“

“This Dough Zone is a great place to eat! The food was delicious, served hot and fresh, and service was excellent. The restaurant is clean, and everything looked new.

About the only negative I can say is that portion sizes are relatively small for the price (especially the Dan Dan Noodles), and so you may end up spending a fair bit to get not all that much food. But since all restaurants are pretty expensive now, this isn't unusual and not a knock against the place. Though would I love to see more food for the dollar? Yes.
