“I'm a white dude here in Seattle on vacation from Ohio. We decided to try a more authentic Chinese restaurant. Had a great time.

Service was fantastic. I broke my right wrist when I was in my teens and can't use chopsticks without a lot of pain - they didn't make me feel awkward asking for a fork, they brought them for the whole family without asking. They made a few suggestions and let us know the entrees came without rice.

We got the house fried rice, pepper chicken wings, Chinese broccoli and beef, general tsos chicken (yes, I know, not at all authentic.) and Szechuan beef.

The fried rice was delicious. My picky daughter was super happy with her wings. The beef and broccoli was amazing. Never had Chinese broccoli before and I will be buying it at home from now on. The general tsos was hands down the best I've ever had. Crispy, tender, the sauce was good, it was just amazing. The Szechuan dish was hot. I mean, hot. I make my own hot sauce at home. I enjoyed it but couldn't have a lot without suffering consequences.

We had a great time. Tried some new stuff. Highly recommend.“

“It’s on the far end— on the corner— not to be confused with the one beside it. Incredibly delicious! The lobster was so tender— it melted in my mouth. The dumplings were the best I’ve had. We ordered our usual of: -Vietnamese Sweet & Sour Catfish Soup -Catfish in Clay Pot/Stew -Rice Today we also tried: -Crispy Oysters -Salted Fish Fried Rice -Three Color Dessert -Thai Dessert It wasn't too busy today, we got a table right away for a family of our. The servers were nice and friendly. Our desserts were bought out first, and soon after the main dishes. Our usual dishes is the tasty as usual. Our favorite as a family is the fried oysters. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. We will be back as usual! We highly recommend this place! They got some of the dishes we love that keeps us coming back for more!“

“I love the mom and pop vibe here. The egg flower soup is exceptional. I appreciate that they offer a lunch special with so many choices, since I alwsys want it ALL when I have Chinese. The lunch special includes your choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup, and egg roll, your choice of white, brown or fried rice, and then your entree choice. Each is about $15. Idk if they were out of it last time, or if they stopped including hot tea with lunch. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They offer to go. They can accommodate individuals or a group of up to 8 at a big round table with a lazy Susan.“

The sides and dessert were delicious and the main dish tasted like home-cooked comfort food. Tender meats and huge chunks of vegetable in a savory broth really hit the spot on a cold and soggy day. “My favorite restaurant ever. The spicy beef broth is incredible, and all the ingredients always taste super fresh. I love that you can fully customize your bowl depending on how hungry you are or what you’re craving that day. Plus the free ice cream is DELICIOUS!

“To review, this place is meant to eat in groups and be loud and speak to people. Always better to eat fresh, there are several foods that this is a must. Such is the case with any dumpling. If this place is rude to you I would say you deserve it, or if took longer I promise they are making things fresh or something is a process to cook.

The server is the only one, works 6 days a week. All of the staff is very friendly, especially if you come often and have proper manners. Everyone loves a regular.

Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least). “I had an amazing experience at Paik’s Noodle in Lynnwood! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The Stir-fried Jajangmyeon was rich and savory, the Soontofu Jjamppong had the perfect balance of spice and seafood, and everything tasted fresh and comforting.

The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was fast and friendly. It’s a great spot whether you’re craving Korean-Chinese comfort food or just looking for a satisfying meal.
