Everything here is made with incredible care and the freshest ingredients—fresh young coconuts cracked daily for that perfect coconut meat and water, house-made pandan jelly, and real fruit in every drink.
The Bambu Special is perfection: a delightful mix of pandan jelly, longan, basil seeds, red tapioca, and coconut that’s refreshing, textured, and not overly sweet (customize your sugar level—I love it at 50%). The Fruit Addict is bursting with fresh fruits, and their smoothies (like taro or avocado) are thick, creamy, and made with real ingredients—no powders here.
Don’t sleep on the pandan waffles—they’re the standout, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with that fragrant pandan flavor shining through. Hands down the best I’ve had at any Bambu location. The Vietnamese iced coffee is bold, smooth, and brewed the traditional way.
Service is always warm, friendly, and knowledgeable—staff happily explain the menu, offer samples, and make recommendations. The place is clean, vibrant, and welcoming, with generous portions at fair prices ($6-10 for most items). So many options are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan-friendly too.

“This place is PHENOMENAL. I go here a few times a month. They open at 9:30am sharp so it is very convenient for when I want pho for breakfast and all the other restaurants open at 11am. They have the fastest service I’ve ever experienced. You walk in, choose where you want to sit, and order right off the menu that is already on the table. Once you order, the food is out within a minute or 2. The menu small only offering pho and spring rolls or egg rolls but a variety of tea/drinks. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite and a chill environment.“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! “Pho Vietnam deserves to be a contender for one of the best pho cafes in North Seattle. After spending the entirety of my life eating pho around the greater Seattle area; this is the most consistent, no-nonsense, soul-affirming bowl of soup I've found, by a large margin.

The nuoc cham that arrives with their egg rolls is made in house with pepper flake and grated carrot. They do not add corn syrup. It should also be noted, the carrot is an extremely well thought out way to balance the fishy-acidic sauce.

Their chili paste at the table is also house made with what seems to be palm sugar. It is delicious. Use one of the small sauce dishes they provide table side and pair it with their hoisin.“

“The bun bo hue was THE BEST I ever had. The broth was complex and flavorful. The noodles was the right level of softness but not falling apart. Meat was tender and so much variety of different cuts. I will definitely come back for more. I didn't have pictures because I was too busy enjoying it!“

Extras were fresh. And the staff was incredibly welcoming. I made the mistake of going to A Nam Pho on 35th. Never again!! The food doesn’t come out super fast like some other spots, but once it arrives, you immediately understand why everything is made with real care and intention.

Every dish we tried was delicious. You can really taste the quality and thought put into the food. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy.

We actually ended up here by accident because our usual pho place was closed for construction, and honestly… what a lucky find. This place is now a new favorite. Definitely worth the wait, and I’ll 100% be coming back.“

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. “I come here for the consistently great bánh mì. While I've mostly ordered sandwiches, I've tried their beef short rib and their pho, and I enjoyed both. This isn't my favorite place for phở, but it's still good, and the báhn mì absolutely steal the site by virtue of their own.

After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.“
