“While the strip mall itself seems a little worse for wear, the karaoke rooms themselves are clean with good sound systems, a surprisingly big TV, comfortable couches, and decent T&J Korean karaoke system (with the remote buttons having small English labels placed on them). This does mean you’d need to either flip through the big songbook, or for Korean/English/Japanese songs, navigating through T&J’s online search website (which uses Google Translate for Korean -> English). Pricing was fair (and cheaper than most spots in Seattle proper) the man at the reception counter was polite, and we had a good time!“

“Love the vibe of this place! Dark walls, plants everywhere, live edge bar and tables, cool cedar root ceiling light. Trivia first Friday at 5:00 was fun. Great ciders. Only 2 beers on tap + Ranier in cans for the beer lovers. Did have some wine, too. The wings were good, queso not so much. They do have games and you can sit and sip and read or play. Very cool space.“

“Very chic place, I cannot remember the last time I had roasted garlic and I ordered it, crostini's were so warm and garlic spreadable and toasty. Bonus points for all the scattered fresh fruit.

I also enjoyed the chicken and dumpling soup, but most of all the Mac n cheese was surprising I was expecting creamy, soup like Mac, but it was very much BAKED like someone's grandmama was back there
Could have used a little more seasoning which is understandable because we can always add our own if need be

Had a choice of salad or chips and a pickle accompanying it. The salad was very fresh. I don't normally like going to bars, but this place had a good atmosphere, and the staff was very welcoming. If ever in Tacoma again, I will 100% return.“

“Found this little gem on a Thursday run with my running group. Stopped in afterwards and had the pear, arugula, goat cheese, and hot honey pizza. Wonderful pizza with all ingredients well balanced, albeit a bit messy. 😉 Was told by the bartender afterwards that next time I could add meat ingredients too. So if you want to guild the lily just ask.

The atmosphere was perfect for an intimate couple with soft lighting, quiet music, and dark colors. This would be a perfect cozy date spot (21+ only, so kid free zone). Plus, afterwards, there is gelato next door.“

“Our server, Tyanna ( embarrassed to say we didn’t look for the spelling of her name) was absolutely a joy. She was pleasant, respectful, courteous, professional and all around great server. We went on Christmas Eve because we wanted a great meal, pleasant atmosphere and feel like we were welcomed and not disappointed that they were taking the time away from their family to make our experience great.“

“I love this place. It has been the most welcoming place since I moved here. Look don't expect to get a full meal here but everything else is fantastic. The atmosphere, the people, the cheap drinks. All the bartenders (Kate, Shelley, Maat, Carrie, and Haelee) are all great! If you're looking for a dive bar to go to this is the one!“

Can't imagine it on a busy night. Also, the AC was on and a couple people in our party were very uncomfortable as it was early March in the evening (cold).“

Overall, we liked the experience and would try it again. Glad to not need to go to Seattle for a cool spot. I think we’ll try again the next time we feel up to it. Competing for spots without reservations is a bit of a bummer.“

“A perfect locals dive bar for those who like dive bars like me. On this occasion I was able to get some really good information on how to trap moles.
