“Best buffet I have been to yet! Food/sushi is fresh and tastes delicious. The service is great, and you feel welcome. A couple of women love interacting with my baby and remember us, which is warming. The building is clean and had a very lovely decor. 100% recommend for a buffet!“
“I've been searching for a good seared salmon nigiri in the area but haven't had any luck. Most of the sushi places we visit don't even offer it on their menu. However, this spot has the perfect seared salmon nigiri. I'll definitely be returning here for more.“
“10/10 experience. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and had a great time! Our server was very sweet and polite, visited us the perfect amount of times (they do have a call button but we didn't need it). The ambiance is very relaxing and welcoming. They have really good music playing too! Check out the cool ceiling lights when you visit - very unique. We started off with the avocado bomb... Wow, the flavor was seriously like a burst of deliciousness...one of the best things I've had! The yummy yummy roll and Vegas roll were so very fresh and so good. This is a great place to take someone who hasn't had sushi before. It will be a WONDERFUL first impression. Really happy to have found a great sushi spot.“
“Absolutely amazing! Our server Anna was fantastic, the quality was astonishing, and the ambiance was perfect. A little hip, a little traditional, and beautiful view. Thank you!Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian, and my husband is not. It was the best vegetable yakisoba I have had in the Puget Sound! It’s rare we both have a great experience.“
“Don't let the minimal decor fool you, the food is good and I liked the chill atmosphere. Sushi was decent, portions were good for 1-2 people, the combo meals can feed 2 adults. Ambiance was low key enough for my elderly mother and 5 year old nephew. Would go here again!“
“Ok, if you're not a Otaku you will not be as impressed with this place. My family and I consume a large amount of Anime and Manga. So finding this Naruto themed Ramen place in Tacoma was a delight. Food was great, fresh and delicious. The broth for the Ramen is very unique to this establishment. SLIGHLTY creamier than most other Tonkatsu broths in the area. And it was a pleasant surprise. You get good portions for the price and the service was impeccable. Very friendly and upbeat. They don't just serve Ramen though! You can get Poké and Sushi Burritos, and not the ones you get at the mall. These bad boys are much better. I also appreciate the self service fountain drinks. Not something you find here often in the PNW. Overall we will return, DATTEBAYO!!!Kid-friendliness: We have two young kids and they loved it as Naruto fans.“
“This place is excellent! We had two California rolls, gyoza, and spicy teriyaki. All super yummy.I loved that the spicy chicken teriyaki had the vegetables mixed in instead of the side. I love spicy food so take this with a grain of salt but I'm calling this heat slightly over mild, but not quite medium. It is a comfortable little kick ?️ I didn't think I would like the rolls since the rice looked thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was absolutely there! I also got the regular fried gyoza ? which was awesome (dipping sauce too), but there is also steamed on the menu if you rather. My order was pickup so I didn't interact with the staff much, but they were all super welcoming and friendly when I walked in.We will be back for sure!!“
“My coworkers and I went to pick up lunch here one day when it was cold and rainy. While we were waiting the amazing lady brought us some hot soup and had us sit down to warm up. Reminded me of my grandma... love this place and I will definitely be back.“
“Food was delish and the experience was great. The restaurant was anime themed but also with a very calm vibe. The gyoza were REALLY good. We all got different types of ramen and were pretty pleased. The girl who got bao buns said they were also pretty good. A lot of options for a large group of people that like different things “
“We came here because of a good review. We felt like sushi and wanted to try a new place to us, It’s does not look like much from the outside. But it’s a hidden gem. Fresh fish. Extra large servings on the Bento box. It was authentic sushi. Great service. We plan to come back,“
“Are cook was named Pie. He cooked the Mahi mahi, steak, and the shrip perfectly. There was never a doll moment, he has an amazing attitude, and the show was great.Be sure if you're going for a special occasion or somebody's first time ask for an experienced cook.I made the mistake of not doing that when I took my parents for the first time. The fish, shrimp, and steak ended up quite a bit overcooked, and there was not much of a show. It was quiet and awkward. Just a heads up.“
“If you are looking for Japanese sushi this is the place to go. Nothing wrong with other locations necessarly but Kazu is a sushi chef from Japan and learned the art of sushi in Japan. Be patient it is a family owned resturant and if it gets busy it may take a extra min to get your food. Definitely worth the wait. Very inviting interior.“
“This place is a gem! They put a lot of care into the preparation. The ambience is very intimate and relaxing with a nice low light. The tuna is the tastiest tuna! Very fast service, very clean. The parking lot is convenient.Parking: I think that the parking lot must have about 12 parking spots. The parking along the street is also very convenient and accessible and free. I don’t think most people would have trouble with parking in this location.“
“this is my absolute favorite teriyaki place in a 15 mile radius. the owner is so sweet, the food is amazing, the prices are cheap (should be more considering how good they are)! i’ve never once had a bad plate of food here or a bad experience. worth every penny <3“
“An almost hidden gem in Spanaway. Tucked away in a small strip mall is the best teriyaki I've ever had. The place has a pleasant and quiet ambiance. The food is simply amazing. Parking is adequate and easily accessed of Pacific Avenue. Staff is always very nice and happy to serve you. Check it out. You'll be glad you did.“
“Zen is a charming Parkland restaurant that serves ramen and sushi burritos; I haven't had ramen in about six months, but everyone says it's delicious. There was a bite-or-wait option after placing an order, and there weren't many seats available. I got the Veggie Love Ramen with edamame and a side of deep-fried tofu. I got a bit carried away and ended up ordering more tofu, even though it already had ample portions. The edamame was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Despite the wonderful breading, the tofu tasted somewhat boring. Because of how delicious it was, I enjoyed how the tofu and ramen went together. The prices were very reasonable and inexpensive. Next time, I'm going you try the Vegetarian Tofu Poke.“
“We have never been disappointed with this restaurant, they always deliver excellent food, service, ambiance and cleanliness.Parking: It's a large strip mall area, so plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: I took two granddaughters and there was a several other kiddos having a grand timeWheelchair accessibility: Very easy to maneuver“
“Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and prompt with service. I don't really remember the name of the rolls, I remember one was a volcano roll and one had spicey crab on top which was absolutely phenomenal and another had eel. We got a tasty miso and side salad as well Hamaki as a starter which were fried egg rolls that were very crispy and tasty. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and amazing food, ill definitely be returning. Everything pictured was $71 before tip so it's also reasonably priced. If I had to nitpick one thing; the eel was pretty thick sliced which was awesome, but I'm hugely textural with foods and eel skin is not something I find very enjoyable on the palate. I removed the pieces of eel and peeled the skin off to avoid the slimy texture that accompanies eel skin. Other than that, everything was great.“
“I got a dinner bento plate with mongolian beef and sushi. The food was so good that I finished everything despite being extremely full!!! I knew I wouldn’t be eating leftovers since I was traveling, but I did not want to waste anything. They had great flavors and even the salad was so good. My husband also enjoyed his pork teriyaki. Pretty happy to find this place after visiting the museums nearby. Highly recommended!!“
“Found this restaurant when looking for someplace new to eat. I like that the restaurant was simple looking yet nice in its own way. The atmosphere was nice, but the service could have been better. There was only 3 tables that had people when we got there, and we were one of the 3. Our appetizers were barely warm, but luckily, my main course was hot.We got veggie tempura, steamed gyzoa, my girl got the rainbow Maki roll, and I got the shoyu ramen with extra meat. The ramen was a little too salty, but it was good. The rainbow roll was good as well.Overall, I still give this place a 4. We'd be willing to come back and try them again :)“
“This was my 5th time eating their food. The very first time, I was absolutely blown away with not only the friendly service, but the speed at which our food was served. The presentation was stunning! The sushi looks like it came from a 5* restaurant, and the hot food was also presented beautifully. Now, for the flavor. I ordered Mongolian Beef & BBQ pork fried rice. The beef melted in my mouth like butter, with sweet & savory sauce that makes me salivate just writing about it. The BBQ pork had a smokey, succulent sweet flavor & the vegetables were crisp but burst in my mouth. The rice was sticky & tender, perfect for my liking. Overall, my entire party was extremely happy & more than satisfied with the food & service! The 5th time was just as awesome as the 1st time. I’ve included pictures of a variety of dishes they have available. 10/10 AMAZING. Best Asian food I’ve ever had from NY, all across the country to here.Parking: Storefront parking with additional parking adjacent.“
“I moved to Missouri from Tacoma, WA, a year ago, and I miss the wide variety of food choices... especially sushi and udon. The sushi chef and hostess/waitress were so incredibly nice. I ordered beef udon, gyoza, and a rainbow roll and everything was SO delicious!! I want some mochi ice cream, but I was too stuffed. I can't wait to visit again so that I can come back!“
“Inside Pal-Do World Market, this small sushi restaurant is located in the grocery store's food court with several other options. To date, I've never received a meal with something wrong. They're very consistent, and almost everything comes with a salad and soup. Rice is always on point, prices are exactly right, they even do large party platters if you call ahead. If I'm grabbing sushi after work to take home, it's here!Vegetarian options: There's more than enough to choose from, the higher priced rolls are more substantial, but the lower priced ones are simple yet delicious. They're always happy to box meat and veggie rolls separate if you ask! (I've had them do it even when I forget to ask)“
“A good sushi choice if you’re craving a quick bite and need a fast meal. I was a little disappointed that the chef’s choice sushi was all imitation crab (was hoping for primarily tuna or salmon in at least one of the rolls), but I still devoured the whole package.“
