“I discovered Plaza Garcia when they were parked outside Ravenna Brewing. They have a great menu with lots of different options! During the summer I made it a point to visit Ravenna Brewing on Wednesdays so I could eat at the truck! It is easily one of the best taco trucks in Seattle! My favorite dishes: Sopitas (thick corn tortillas) filled with choice of meat, as well as beans, cheese, radish, tomatoes and lettuce. They even come with rice and beans! It's a lot of food for a great price! Taquitos Dorados (thicker rolled tacos, look a lot like flautas). These are good if you're looking for fried, crunchy fare! I've gotta make it a point to get over to Kirkland to try out the brick and mortar restaurant! I anticipate greatness, because their truck is top notch!“
“Yep, this is it. This is the best Detroit pizza in Seattle. MFD’s has figured it out, and I’m so glad it’s local to the neighborhood. The crust has that perfect crispy but flavorful edge but still soft with the right amount of breadiness. The sauce and toppings are the perfect and the right ratio.We got a pepperoni pizza and the garlic jalapeno bread. The jalapeno bread was as incredible as the pizza. Cheesy, garlicky - I would highly recommend getting some.When I went in to pick up our pizza, I met whom I am assuming is Derek, and he was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. “Had the pleasure of trying this place out at Rooftop Brewing Co! It was a sunny Seattle Sunday, and the beer and burgers were calling. We picked up! There is a QR code at Rooftop to order at truck, and they text you when ready! I have yet to find any other brewery with this system. It's nice to not have to abandon your brew and company to stay in line! Our food was ready in 15-20mins.The portions were generous! They add ON their add ons! My burger was swimming in fried onions, but I'm not complaining The patties were doubled too.Quality was abundant. The burgers were juicy, the cheese melted, the fries crispy, and the seasonings were unique. “Great biscuits! We tried the Willie Lee and Che sandwiches - both were quite tasty and filling. The Willie Lee was a good balance of sweet and savory with the berry jam and bacon.We did encounter an issue with the food taking a long time to come out. Initially, we were there to eat in because it didn't look too busy with a few open tables. Unfortunately, we had to change it to a takeout order because it took too long. “Stopped in for lunch today and ordered the Bison taco and some of the sweet fry bread with honey on it. Not exactly the same sort of fry bread tacos I'm used to from Arizona but that's perfectly alright and I knew that from looking at the menu in advance.The bread came right out of the fryer so it was warm and airy. The veggies were fresh and the bison meat was well cooked (not chewy or anything). The sauce worked really well with it too! “We visit Edmonds yearly and La Casa De Amigos is always our first meal. Authentic Honduran food made with fresh ingredients can’t be beat! The menu offers a variety of traditional foods but my favorite is the enchiladas ?. I love the pickled veggies that adds a nice acidic crunch. They created a homey little nook where you can enjoy your food and drinks which is so perfect. “I had the birria tacos. Fire. Also had a pastor taco (grilled pork with pineapple bits, my go to at most taco spots) everything was good. On a previous visit I had a chorizo burrito, wet, would have gotten it again, but, it was lunch time and two breakfasts mess me up, lol. The salsas are on point too. The hot salsa is actually hot. The best reason to go is the woman that works the counter. She is so nice, my wife even said so. We watched her deal with a difficult customer while we waited for our food. He wasn't rude, just had tons of questions and lots of modifications and she was accommodating where she could be, but polite and when she couldn't.They are doing things the right way down there. The tacos themselves had a little less flavor than I was expecting, but they ended up being perfect when combined with the consume and salsa. Also, special shoutout to the person at the register whose name I forgot to catch: I ordered the strawberry-hibiscus Agua Fresca, but wasn't in the mood for something too sweet, so they let me taste it before ordering. “One of the best taco places I've found in Kirkland and on the eastside in general! Their adobada and carne asada meat are tender and not too salty, which is a problem I've run into with other taco places (dry or way too salty). I love their self-service sauce bar where you can load up on your favorite condiments. Their sauces are all pretty good! Also their churros are delicious and addicting...they have this filling inside of them that is really good and come with a whip cream-like sauce on the side. Their horchata is some of the best in the area and it's made to be drank with ice. If you ask for it without ice (which I generally do), you can cut it with extra milk and still get a TON of flavor.
