“Il Nido in West Seattle is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, authentic, and inviting. The pasta is exceptional — clearly handmade and cooked perfectly — and every dish tastes fresh, rich, and thoughtfully prepared. The service was outstanding: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing.
The attention to detail throughout the entire dining experience really stands out, from the presentation to the wine selection to the pacing of the meal. Whether you’re there for a special occasion or just a great dinner, Il Nido delivers one of the best Italian dining experiences in Seattle. Highly recommend the pasta tasting and saving room for dessert. Looking forward to coming back again soon.”

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at. Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails. The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom. Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!”

“I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE!! Highly recommend, even if it's a walk off the main Winslow strip. These guys have the cleanest pho broth in town, dangerously addictive beef dumplings, and incredible BBQ pork Banh Mi. Their house-made chili oil is wicked good, as well as their milk tea options. They also have great vegetarian delights for you as well! They're incredibly friendly and hospitable, with very quick service. If you're looking to get some premium quality Vietnamese food, this is the spot! If you're taking a tour of BI, I highly recommend going here! Big up Green Pot Deli!”

“I will definitely recommend Happy Crab. Was invited to Happy Crab for casual business lunch today. When I first see its Signature name, I knew it couldn’t be wrong. I love their decoration and sea views. Very romantic and elegant restaurant. The food was served quick and all flavors are delicious as well as creative. It is lucky to get the chance to meet the owner Lily, she has great personality. Great smile, being honest & adorable. I admire what Happy Crab said: Life is a journey, happiness is a choice, and every meal is a celebration. I wish every guest is happy in Happy Crab.”

“As a New Englander, I’m going to suggest the piping hot clam chowder is a must try. It’s definitely worth getting the larger size. The fish and chips also hit the spot - we got a 3pc cod and 3pc halibut for variety, which was perfectly sized for 3 of us to share. Casual, walk-in, expect a little wait but totally within reason. Right across from the beach!”

“Why does May's Thai food taste so much better than Thai food in the Seattle Metro area? Is it the country air? Is it because you have to take a ferry to enjoy it? I don't know the answer, but it is delicious! Make May's Kitchen your destination restaurant experience this summer.”

“I appreciate Ashley so much for the community-mindedness of her space. Square Pegs Autistic Adult Meetups needed a place for meetings and I was hopeful that Ashley would be willing to discuss the possibility. She went so far beyond that - she was immediately responsive in the affirmative, scheduled a time to chat quickly, and graciously let us use the space without so much as a charge or minimum drink orders. She just wanted to support the Neurodivergent community here in having a space. Endlessly grateful for the opportunity to work with Ashley's Pub. <3”

“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!”
“This is the perfect summer spot, forget packing a picnic. Stop here for a delicious sandwich with a potato chip crunch or a yummy salad. They have cute kites for sale and snacks for the kids. The owners are so friendly. They even have coffee and hot chocolate for cold pnw day. The location is perfect for families, it is sandwiched between a sandy beach and a playground.”
