We’ve been coming here for 30 years after karate and driver’s ed and half days and for celebrations and on rainy days and lunches with my grandmother. I hope Pon Proem is here forever! It’s always a special treat in our family, even now that my own daughter is grown. ❤️

“So creative, fresh, and delicious! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I’ve been here since they opened, and their menu is always changing as they refine their dishes and grow. The owner is also really nice.

Everything here is tasty, but my favorite is their signature dish, Pak Mor Yuan, which is very similar to Vietnamese bánh cuốn. I saw a reel of them making it fresh and it is no wonder that it is so tasty.

I also like Guay Tiew Lohd, which uses similar rice noodles/paper.“

“Old Saigon is a hidden gem with great food and friendly service. The pho was flavorful and satisfying, and the banh mi was just as good—fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The complimentary hot jasmine tea was a nice touch, especially on a chilly day. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Plus, they offer a punch card for a free pho after several visits, which is a great bonus. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

Zhuhou beef brisket noodles are very refreshing, the soup is delicious, and the brisket is a bit loose.“

“Great selection of szechuan food. I tried their over the hridge ruce noodle which is my hometown dish (Yunnan province). It is decent and well done. The server was a very sweet lady. Great price for delicious authentic Chinese szechuan food.

Only thing I see that needs improvement is their workstation for side job- it is is next to the diners (green beans all over the table). Maybe you can reserve a further area for side jobs.

“Our first visit was yesterday for lunch and we had Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Chicken pan-fried potstickers, Chicken and Vegetable Won-tons in sweet and sour sauce and Spicy (Ma la) noodles.....all were very good! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience!!“

“This place is so good and the staff so friendly. The crispy shrimp rolls and a-mok trei are insanely delicious as is every soup, especially the fisherman’s bowl and goo nam noodle. Whenever we have friends in town we try to take them here. Last time we were in they brought us a big bowl of bone broth for free. This place is fantastic with wonderful owners and staff.“

I ordered the garlic eggplant, water boiled fish, and one of the lamb dish that had onions. Everything came out so delicious and as I expected from previous sichuanese restaurant experiences. The food is served family style on a large plate with one serving spoon. It can be difficult to eat the food with chopsticks as it gets oily real quick but they provide a spoon upon request. I would love to come back as often as possible if I were closer. It's also pretty affordable for the amount of food received.“

The only "suggestions" I have are online ordering if possible and less sauce on the side for the rolls (save some money for your business)
