“Entertaining and sweet service, fresh food, warm soothing light ambience perfect for all sized groups. We had the Tiger roll (with eel, crab, shrimp), shrimp noodles and chicken bulgogi. The shrimp noodles were yum and full of flavour. The chicken bulgogi was served crackling on a hot iron platter but was not as spicy as expected, it was okay.
Generous food portions, just dig in!”

“My first time here was in 1971 and it was remodelled maybe 10 years before that and it's hasn't changed. Well, the band with Dr Klemgard on the wash tube bass is long gone. Be sure to try the chips, order the large bowl!”

“Went to Gypsy Java for the first time this morning. The customer service is amazing, they're very nice. Really like how this establishment has a covered area to wait in or to sit and sip your coffee, I wish more coffee spots like this had that. I got a LG Caramel Caravan and my daughter got a MED Yeti, they both came to a little over $13, which is a little expensive for coffee. The coffees were both good, very hot, although a little on the strong side, I like more of an equal balance of flavors, to taste both the coffee and the flavors added. The one thing that we really didn't like were the lids, although a pretty pink, they do not stay on, when you pick it up or just holding it, the lids come right off (we had a small spill due to this) and they allow the coffee to leak as well, which, anyone one knows that this is not a good thing while driving. I would try them again, but I would ask if they will fill a reusable cup.”

“Breakfast Sausage Burrito and large coffee only $19 - this easily costs $25 in CA! Delicious, hot, fresh black bean, grilled potatoes, cheese, and excellent sausage, with sour cream and salsa verde on the side. Fast, friendly service, great study place, lots of space, big tables and small for solo or group study. The pastries look gooood, especially the frosted cinnamon Roll. I'll be back!”

“I got the Classic Italian with red sauce instead of white sauce and added zesty herbs. Turned out yummy. Arrived a little early, which worked perfectly for me, and has well-spaced ingredients. The mushrooms are a nice thinness. Pizza was double wrapped with two stickers, much appreciated. Delivery driver was chill, but I don't think that reflects specifically on Papa Murphy's.

I got a medium pizza in the past, picked it up myself, and the staff was friendly then. It was around closing, I was the only customer in there, and they had nice music on at a good volume. I received my order right after I walked in. Would definitely recommend, even if it's only once in a while due to the prices.”

“This is a split review based on our tastes and the local tastes.
The food was warm and plentiful, atmosphere is comfortable.
We had the combo taco plate and the Chile verde.
Hard shell taco shells and chips at the table are not made in house. Pork was bland and Verde sauce the same.
Rice and beans flavorful and well seasoned.
This restaurant could lean into the flavors and fresh make chips and shells in house but we wonder if that's what the local folks would want.
Back home in CA they wouldn't get the same rating but I'd wager the flavors back home would be too spicy or else they'd have adjusted by now.
Service great, food good, a nice change from all the pub grub in this college town. Would visit again but would request more traditional flavors if possible.”

“Good place for drinks and food with your friends or even co-workers. I like the drinks here. They are slightly above average per the town’s average. The burger here is really good. Even the veggie substitute. One of the best in town (Pullman and Moscow). I like the veggie burger here even more than Humble Burger in Moscow.”

“My first time trying Miss Huddy's Barbeque, was the best decision just perfect for today's rainy weather- Jalapeno Cheddar link and potato salad. The combination was superbly delish! Pleasant service and lovely ambience along Paradise brewery, taproom.
They were already sold out with the pumpkin spice dessert! I hope they have it on their next trip. Will return to try rest of the items on their menu.”

“My wife and I live in Austin,Texas, so I was pretty skeptical about getting Mexican food in Pullman, Washington. But I was very pleasantly surprised! As other have mentioned, it wasn't as spicy as I'd have liked, but... I'm a jalapeño-eating Texan who grew eating spicy Tex-Mex, so I won't hold that against them at all.

I had the beef burrito, and it was very solid! Not earth shaking, but definitely yummy. And it was huge, and came with rice and beans. My wife had the beef fajitas, and they were also perfectly good with a large serving.

We're definitely biased because of where we're from, but I have zero qualms recommending Ranche Viejo. For Washington State, this is perfectly reasonable Mexican food. I'd come back any time.

The service was also great. Our waiter was super friendly and solicitous. Same with the host - super kind and friendly.

“If youre going for McDonald's, this is the only one to trust in the Moscow/Pullman area. After multiple failed attempts at the two Moscow locations and the other Pullman location, we decided to give this one a try. Every time I've been to this location the staff is friendly and genuine, the order comes out quickly and accurately, and the food is always 🔥 and fresh! Whoever is running this place should give the others some pointers. Great job you guys. Absolutely worth the 20 min drive.”

Pros: Very generous portion — almost couldn’t finish it.
Cons: The chicken katsu was not done well: too dry and not crispy.
Service was friendly and attentive, which is a plus.
Overall decent value, but the katsu could be improved.”
