“This was my mom's and I’s last cafe hop in Seattle before leaving, and it was worth it! We arrived right when it opened due to our flight. I unfortunately did not get anything; however, my mom ordered a hot decaf Americano and it was love at first sight. She said it was VERY good, and she was sad we didn’t come sooner because its very close to the place we stayed at. It was so good that we decided to buy four coffee bags! (we turned around the second we left😅👀). I recommend it–its very close to the transit station.
Overall, the experience was cosy and vibey–please try it out if you are in the area‼️“

“At Boon Boona, sharing a daily cup is about more than just caffeine—it’s about slowing down and connecting. When you choose their coffee, you’re supporting a more equitable coffee economy. They work exclusively with African producers and exporters, ensuring a greater share of profits goes to women-owned farms and communities often overlooked. Their cafes are designed with you in mind—welcoming spaces where you can gather, discover local artists, support nonprofits, and enjoy pop-ups from the small businesses you love.“

“My favorite starbucks by far! There’s great staff who are extremely friendly and nice. The drinks are very well made. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with plenty of nice people and regulars in groups! They are very pet friendly and you can meet a large range of very friendly dogs! There is lots seating indoor and out with heated seats outside. The location is perfect and they are always fast to create your order.“
“I'm so thrilled to see this spot reopened and with such a charming new operation! The quality is exceptional for the value, indeed. I had a cortado and a butter tart today that really made me appreciate my morning. The simplicity and minimal vibe really appeal to me and I am so impressed with the barista who is pulling all the shots.“

“It is our first time in Giddy Sloth and the owner was wonderful in knowledge of coffee and making our experience here memorable!
We were passing by and stopped by to visit a friend.
We highly recommend for coffee lovers to visit as he has unique coffee blend from costa rica !“

“The upstairs area is nice and cozy, great for reading or work. My experience here was decent, no complaints but nothing to write home about either. We got there over an hour before closing and they had no pastries left, not sure if that’s the norm or we were just late. It’s also on a quieter strip in west seattle so not very walkable if that’s something you’re looking for.“
“I was surprised by the long line this Sunday morning, but even so, the wait was short and we ordered the special of the day — macadamia coconut cold brew with cold foam — and a single espresso. Service was super quick, my coffee was delicious, and I honestly wished they had a larger cup size haha. That said, I do have to admit the espresso was a bit burnt (and both drinks were on the pricey side).
Still, with the outdoor seating available, we really enjoyed our coffees in a pleasant atmosphere. We’d definitely come back!“

“Best ice cream (gelato). Better than Italian in Italy. Thank you for Bringing back mango habanero sorbet. WOW! Your new chocolate milkshakes are making us very, very happy! Best pistachio, hazelnut… You name it their’s is the best. These nut gelatos are not made out of flavored surgery syrups. They are made out of puréed nuts. No ice cream in Seattle can compare.“

“Walked in and got the strawberry matcha and the honey bunches of cold brew! Both were delicious and the burnt honey flavor in the cold brew is amazing! The prices are decent for the sizes and customers also get free waters and use of the bathroom as well! There’s plenty of seating, the service is incredibly fast, and the workers are super kind and welcoming. Not to mention it was super clean with an awesome aesthetic as well! Zero complaints! If I lived here I’d be a regular“

“This beautiful coffee shop was on my list of must-visit places, and it did not disappoint! They had all kinds of syrups, flavors, and coffee options. The owner was such a sweetheart and treated us wonderfully. Plus, they have a black and white photo booth, which was such a fun bonus. The shop also has a small Hispanic section, which brought back memories of going to ‘la tienda’ in my hometown. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Very cute bakery with tasty matcha and a decent breakfast taco (good corn tortilla) given that they have no real kitchen. I loved sitting outside in the sun and relaxing today. I would definitely stop by again if I were in the area. There were a lot of pastries I'd like to try and didn't have the chance.“

“Lovely interior, friendly staff.
The recommended drink here is the yogurt coffee. The previous review saying the yogurt coffee is too tart must have had their taste buds obliterated by starbies or something. It was very normal. Me when the drink called yogurt coffee tastes like yogurt and coffee 🤯“

“There’s something magical about the coffee jelly here - it’s drinkable and dissolves in your mouth but not while it’s in the drink. Furthermore, it’s plant-based. At first, when I got my drink, I was a little worried that the jelly would not work with the straw, but there were no issues at all.
I got the jelly coffee and milk, which was their signature drink. The first half of the drink was really amazing - strong coffee flavor, great jelly texture, and high-quality half-and-half. You really need to mix the drink before drinking for the best results. However, towards the end of the drink there were some acidic notes, which I think is from the coffee itself. I did read about their coffee supplier, and while I’m glad they use a local roaster, I’m not a huge fan of the beans (having tried it before myself).
Everything in this shop is well-crafted and intentional, and the staff is really nice. The tables here are pretty tiny and this isn’t really a spot to hang out long or to study/work. However, I definitely think their coffee jelly is worth trying and will be back to try the tea flavors next time.“

“If you love and crave amazing coffee, this is your crack dealer!!! It’s sooooo good. These people are the best of Seattle! Friendly, cool, great product and service. Went back repeatedly! “While I have never visited in person, Broadcast Coffee is by far my most coveted coffee. I absolutely love their coffee! From Columbia Pensilvania, to Columbia Los Angeles, and now Autumn Blend, I can't get enough of this delicious coffee! I LOVE every single coffee I try. I am definitely not afraid of purchasing a full pound of coffee that I haven't first sampled!“

“Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally came by for a pre-work coffee. The barista made my espresso perfectly and was great to chat with. The vibes in here are spectacular, not too loud, free Wi-Fi, and I love the upstairs seating area!
There weren’t many food options left but I think I just visited too late in the day!
Will definitely be back here very soon.“

“Really liked the coffee. The cookie was also pretty good. The employees were super nice and just had an overall friendly environment. Upstairs is a good place to study and the downstairs is too but it’s a bit dark and not a lot of lighting.“

“La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made. They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. The owners and staff are hard-working and kind. They care about their locals and the newbies. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve it!“

“Visited today with a friend, we got a 16oz sunset gradient, a 16oz blended coconut coffee, and a 24oz pan-cha matcha.
We spent $22 before tip and $25 after. Not bad at all!
We went during rush hour (12:45p) and the store was packed when we got there and had emptied by the time we left. We were there for maybe 10 minutes, Love speedy service!
The sunset gradient is delicious and refreshing and tastes like ginger beer and pear (we really liked this one).
The matcha is delicious as well, very sweet, but should be mixed or drank through a straw because my first sip was straight matcha powder. (while noticably sweet it is not at all overpowering the drink)
The coconut coffee is also very good, stronger than I was expecting without tasting bitter or burnt.
The decor was absolutely beautiful, I could only get a photo of the mural but the lighting was very aesthetically pleasing, the floor had beautiful tiling and the backstock area was a loft space above the counter which was decorated to the nines.
There was an option to order at the counter with a barista or to order on a tablet in store, which is nice for people with social anxiety or disabilities!
Overall a great spot to stop in and grab a cup and enjoy the art!“

“Went here because Fodor’s rated this as the best coffee in Seattle- and wow it did NOT disappoint! I had a shot of espeesso by itself- the crema was perfectly smooth and sweet. I also had an iced caffe caramel with hazelnut flavor which was worth every penny and did the job! Highly recommend this place to anyone! The baristas were very friendly and made us feel welcome and offered a shot of soda as a chaser for the espresso too even.“

“Excellent Starbucks destination! I love taking our friends and family here when they visit as part of the signature Seattle experience. Unlike regular locations, they have their own bakery, gorgeous iron ovens, and they serve alcoholic drinks. They will make your drink with an AeroPress, chemex, pour-over, Clover, or a few other options. Their whiskey barrel-aged cold brew is amazing. My gluten-eating friends and family tell me that the bakery items are incredible. Being fresh baked and with high quality ingredients. This is a great place to visit, and a place I go to again and again.“

“The black sesame foam for the Gloomy Matcha has me in a chokehold…. I tried recreating it at home, but it comes nowhere near as close to what you can get here. I came right at opening time before my flight took off because I just had to get another Gloomy Matcha 😂 it’s THAT good. Wish we had an Aroom on the east coast 😭
Right down the street is a bakery, which is so nice! Come to Aroom for your morning coffee/matcha, then head to Sea Wolf for some bread.“
