“We visited Aroom with our family and absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is excellent, and the interior is very stylish and thoughtfully designed.

“Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally came by for a pre-work coffee. The barista made my espresso perfectly and was great to chat with. The vibes in here are spectacular, not too loud, free Wi-Fi, and I love the upstairs seating area!

There weren’t many food options left but I think I just visited too late in the day!

Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind as well. The kitty-themed drinks and kitty macaroons are all delicious too! And the cat-inspired decorations—even in the restrooms—are wonderful! It’s a kitty paradise for all the cats and humans who visit. :) We highly recommend everyone who loves cats visits this magical place!“

“The upstairs area is nice and cozy, great for reading or work. My experience here was decent, no complaints but nothing to write home about either. We got there over an hour before closing and they had no pastries left, not sure if that’s the norm or we were just late. It’s also on a quieter strip in west seattle so not very walkable if that’s something you’re looking for.“

“I was surprised by the long line this Sunday morning, but even so, the wait was short and we ordered the special of the day — macadamia coconut cold brew with cold foam — and a single espresso. Service was super quick, my coffee was delicious, and I honestly wished they had a larger cup size haha. That said, I do have to admit the espresso was a bit burnt (and both drinks were on the pricey side).
Still, with the outdoor seating available, we really enjoyed our coffees in a pleasant atmosphere. We’d definitely come back!“

“This place is special. It’s local, it’s cute, it’s an adorable shoebox of a place. The baristas know you and the drinks are made to perfection. That pumpkin sauce that they make in house is divine. I look forward to visiting and it becomes a tiny highlight to my week every time. Even when there’s a line, it’s not a long wait.“

Bao is friendly and crafts these drinks with care. It was the perfect temperature and sweetness. If you know me, you know I love matcha: this is the best one I've ever had!

“Stumbled upon this place when in town. Quiet, friendly place and I must admit: the home made caramel is to die for. Don’t miss out on it when in town!!“

“This is a hidden gem to South Seattle (West Hill) Community. Street parking is available. Fresh brewed coffee imported coffee from Ethiopia! Never too crowded and IF you’re ever looking for a meeting space, I think the business are able to facilitate.“

“There’s something magical about the coffee jelly here - it’s drinkable and dissolves in your mouth but not while it’s in the drink. Furthermore, it’s plant-based. At first, when I got my drink, I was a little worried that the jelly would not work with the straw, but there were no issues at all.

I got the jelly coffee and milk, which was their signature drink. The first half of the drink was really amazing - strong coffee flavor, great jelly texture, and high-quality half-and-half. You really need to mix the drink before drinking for the best results. However, towards the end of the drink there were some acidic notes, which I think is from the coffee itself. I did read about their coffee supplier, and while I’m glad they use a local roaster, I’m not a huge fan of the beans (having tried it before myself).

Everything in this shop is well-crafted and intentional, and the staff is really nice. The tables here are pretty tiny and this isn’t really a spot to hang out long or to study/work. However, I definitely think their coffee jelly is worth trying and will be back to try the tea flavors next time.“

“This beautiful coffee shop was on my list of must-visit places, and it did not disappoint! They had all kinds of syrups, flavors, and coffee options. The owner was such a sweetheart and treated us wonderfully. Plus, they have a black and white photo booth, which was such a fun bonus. The shop also has a small Hispanic section, which brought back memories of going to ‘la tienda’ in my hometown. Can’t wait to go back!“

“While I have never visited in person, Broadcast Coffee is by far my most coveted coffee. I absolutely love their coffee! From Columbia Pensilvania, to Columbia Los Angeles, and now Autumn Blend, I can't get enough of this delicious coffee! I LOVE every single coffee I try. I am definitely not afraid of purchasing a full pound of coffee that I haven't first sampled!“

“Walked in and got the strawberry matcha and the honey bunches of cold brew! Both were delicious and the burnt honey flavor in the cold brew is amazing! The prices are decent for the sizes and customers also get free waters and use of the bathroom as well! There’s plenty of seating, the service is incredibly fast, and the workers are super kind and welcoming. Not to mention it was super clean with an awesome aesthetic as well! Zero complaints! “Wow, wow, wow! Their ham, egg, and cheese is of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever! The ham is full of rich, smoky flavor and pairs so well with the melty cheese and spicy mayo. You can’t go wrong with any item from their bakery either. Their chocolate chip cookie is also one of my favorites. Everyone working here is so kind and welcoming. You can tell they all care about the food as well providing a great atmosphere. One of my favorite spots in Seattle, check them out!!“

Got a lox waffle and a Cuban sandwich. Cold brew with cream and hot dirty chi tea.

It's small but not cramped very cute and cozy. We didn't think there was much place to sit so had plan to go but they made room for us at a table with was so kind of them.

Food was so good! Never had a lox waffle before. Loved the sauce. Coffee was delicious and strong in the best ways!

“This cafe has the absolute best atmosphere, from the gorgeous architecture, the furnishings and decor, and the two amazing guys running it (shout out Charles and Tom!) it feels like you’re stepping back in time, and offers a relaxing ambiance that makes you regret stepping back out on the street. Their coffee is my absolute favorite, and thus far every baked good I’ve gotten has been extremely tasty. You can really tell how much love was put into this place and still is. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and if you’re not - it’s worth the drive. 10/10 and would give higher if possible.“

“This was my mom's and I’s last cafe hop in Seattle before leaving, and it was worth it! We arrived right when it opened due to our flight. I unfortunately did not get anything; however, my mom ordered a hot decaf Americano and it was love at first sight. She said it was VERY good, and she was sad we didn’t come sooner because its very close to the place we stayed at. It was so good that we decided to buy four coffee bags! (we turned around the second we left😅👀). I recommend it–its very close to the transit station.

“Hello, I was here on Feb 4 around 9:30-10am. Just wanted to say that the service was really nice. They were willing to remake my drinks when I forgot to say I wanted them iced and I also spilled one of my drinks and they were quick to help me. Safe to say, I was having a pretty bad morning but the two people working the bar were so helpful. My social anxiety was through the roof but they remained really kind the entire time which made me feel a lot better about my mess ups. Thank you guys! Will continue to be a regular costumer.“

I had no idea I needed egg bread in my life, but I’m excited to try all of the flavors of the egg breads as well as the sandwiches. It’s nice going to a cafe spot that has real savory food that can serve as quick meals. Unfortunately, in Seattle, I’m often used to the standard croissants and pastries, but to be honest, I much prefer the savory eats for any meal of the day.

The service was efficient, and I felt that the price of the food was fair for the high quality. Everything was appropriately spicy, but clearly delicious even without the spice! I appreciated the front of house person’s recommendations for their favorite treats (shown here in my review). I can’t wait to come back — plus I just live right around the corner! 🥚🍳“

“Exceptional third wave coffee place - the owner is extremely knowledgeable, they really know their cortados/flat whites, they have lots of coffee for sale from some of the well known light/nordic roasters, and on top of all that they do an amazing decaf. Probably the best coffee shop I've been to in Seattle.“

“Anchor and Bloom Café is such a gem! The lox bagel was fresh and delicious, the mango smoothie was perfectly sweet and refreshing, and the rose latte was smooth and fragrant.
