The lady who took my order was very welcoming and kind, and provided excellent customer service during a very busy time! (She took the time to apologize to me when someone skipped the line, and that made me feel important as a customer.) The food was delicious, and I look forward to visiting the food truck and/or going to the cafe soon! Thanks again!“

“Chill staff, family friendly vibes, and great cider options! Food truck hit the spot yesterday with Theo’s Gyros! Yum!Where Ya At Matt is also really tasty! We came here with our little one in stroller for the first time in months. It’s nice to see that there were lots of families with small children too. So if you’re wanting a night out, cancel that babysitter and bring your carbon copy(ies)/ fur child. If you do sit inside make sure you don’t sit near the speakers. It got a little loud for baby once the festivities of the evening started.Announcer could have opened up with an easy more softer opening. But hey, we loved the energy. Dog friendly and lots of space to drink, eat, and laugh with friends and family. We will have to come back again!“

“I can confidently say this is not only the best burger in Seattle but the best burger I’ve ever had. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and their food lives up to every expectation and more. The food comes out to you quick and they take the time to converse with their customers. The smash burgers are perfectly made and a fully commit to the messy nature of sandwiches without becoming soggy. They understand what they are selling and have streamlined it so well that it creates for the perfect experience. Wherever this truck sits is a destination spot if you ever visit the city.“

“I've been going to Taqueria El Asadero for over 12 years. During that time, I've tried several other taco trucks, and recently, there's been a few opening up on Rainier Avenue, which I did try. While these have good food, they don't come close to El Asadero's delicious food. They don't even compare. I've tried many of their dishes over the years which all have been so good with great quality. The birria burrito, though, is my all time favorite. The only criticism I had in the past was the amount of fat in the birria (which never stopped me from ordering it). Though, in the last year or two, I've noticed that has changed. I'm rarely picking fat out of the meat. So, if you are looking for a Taco truck with the most delicious food and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend you go to El Asadero. You won't regret it.“

“I had to share… We had the pleasure of ordering food from Burger Planet food truck today at the Ballard FC game. A lady ahead of me was vegan and was trying to figure out what to eat. The staff was patient with here, even though it was a BURGER FOOD TRUCK, and even after she ordered and paid, they worked with her to get it right. They eventually credited her money and still gave her the food. Real classy thing to do. You didn’t have to but you went above and beyond. Nicely done!!“

“Today, I had my long time favorite, the purple falafel wrap, at the Ballard farmers market after almost two years and it was just as yummy as I remember it… they make the best falafels in the greater seattle area… crispy outside, moist and cooked inside… and that lovely purple slaw 😋. “I stopped by this place for lunch to try the combo pod - which is basically a combination of a kathi roll and a rice dish

starting with the kathi roll (ie: roll pod), I wasn't a huge fan of it. the roti on the outside was cooked well, and had a nice browning to it, but I thought the filling
was kind of lacking. I had the chicken masala filling - and it had a bit of a weird taste to it. the chicken felt really dry, and none of the other fillings did anything to really complement it.

however, i did enjoy the rice pod much more. the basmati rice was cooked really well - super aromatic, and not dry. the tomato gravy was rich, creamy, and flavorful - it provided excellent mouthfeel to each bite - to the point where I was pretty happy even on bites that didn't include any protein. The portion size of this also felt a good amount better than what was given in the rice pod. For the filling, I opted for the mutton masala here - and I definitely could feel the spice emanating from the marinated meat. the pieces of mutton used were also pretty large. Liked this dish a lot

For the price, this combination is pretty expensive - coming in at around $18. It's a decent portion, but it's not quite enough for 2 meals - maybe 1 1/2.

Overall, the namesake roll is a miss, but the rice pod is some actually quite good Indian food. 7.75/10“

“Came here for taco Tuesday ($1.50 tacos) and got 3 tacos for $5, hard to beat that deal in Washington especially when the tacos are so good. And I mean really good, extremely tender and flavorful. The salsas they put out are also phenomenal. I got the adobada and the tinga, I would recommend both.“

Who I assume is the owner interupt ed and said, “Not just a Burger The Best Burger.” I asked if they had Gluten Free buns. They did! So we ordered Black N Blu burgers and fries. And what a Burger!!! “I am a seeker of cheesesteaks. Any restaurant that has them I will try it. The cheesesteaks that Tre makes are the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. My favorite are Tres Caliente and the Nashville Bacon Bleu. “Absolutely darling little crepe and panini truck. ❤ We met the owner, a friendly man from Sicily who owns seven(!) restaurants in the area, including Pink Salt next door and Mondello down the street. He made us the most delicious ham and gouda crepe we've ever tasted--which is saying a lot, considering we just spent three years living in Europe and ate crepes in five different countries.Overall, the menu has a great selection, the little patio area is adorable, and the food is on-point. My only regret is that we don't live closer!Can't wait to come back!P.s. If you, like us, are "homesick" for a good after-dinner European espresso, this is absolutely the place to get it. “Ate here when I was randomly in the area. Very good barbacoa burrito. Loaded with everything but still stayed intact. The mango habanero had a very unique flavor, but I liked it. Small clean area beside the street to sit and eat, but I would probably recommend getting your food to-go if possible. Will go back to try out their asada tacos/tortas.“
