“Dont get hung up over the lack of twenties decor. This whole in the wall bar had all the spirit of a speakeasy. You cannot go wrong with any of the cocktails. Whoever is their mixologist has a taste for the eclectic and wonderful. I can't recommend enough ending any night with a visit here. If you love Ardbeg, you are in for a treat as well!“

“Everything we had was high quality, flavorful and super a scrummy!! Guacamole/plantain chips, beef enpanita, shrimp tacos, brisket taco, Cuban Sammy. People around us had these beautiful cocktails with flowers, umbrellas, etc. Huge selection of rum too. Loved the decor and servers were sweet as pie.“

“Exquisite food, drinks, and service.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options aren’t labeled on the menu, but they have impossible burgers and several other menu items they could be made without meat.
Parking: Cars are unwoke, you should exclusively walk or take the excellent bus network here.“
“I stumbled in here after work one day and am so glad to have come across this hidden gem! Wonderful place to find and truly has a unique intimate vibe you can’t find anywhere in Seattle. Portions are generous and food is tasty as well.Service is great and you can see the passion and pride the owner takes in his restaurant.“

“My absolutely favorite bar in West Seattle. Amazing atmosphere but please hire nicer people as bartenders, people who actually have customer service skills. Often get one bartender who is very rude and unpersonable, seems to hate her job. 💔“

“I made dinner reservations for my staff at A Stir after a conference in Seattle, though I was unable to attend myself—and I must say, I’m so bummed I missed it! The following Monday, I was greeted in the office by my entire team raving about how amazing the food and service were. Every dish was packed with flavor and crafted with quality. With team members who are gluten-free, it was crucial to find a restaurant that offered more than just a basic salad. A Stir exceeded expectations with a full menu of creative, nutritious dishes and an extensive selection of wine, cider, and gluten-free beer. On the morning of our reservation, I received a thoughtful email from the executive chef, Ton, with personalized recommendations. This added such a nice touch and made the experience even smoother for my team. Our reservation was at 6:15, and when my team arrived, dishes were freshly served, hot, and ready—a perfect way to unwind after a long few days at the conference. Dining at A Stir was the ideal way to close out their weekend, and I can’t wait to visit on my next trip to Seattle to experience it myself. Thank you, Ton and the entire A Stir team, for providing my staff with such a refreshing and memorable dining experience!“

“Came for Happy Hour alone and decided to order each item from the bar menu and had myself a tasting menu. It was plenty of food... I really should have stopped at 3 or 4 HH portions. I highly recommend the garlic prawns, the chili cumin pork ribs, the duck spring rolls, and the tomato salad (with the salted egg). The bartender also poured me two exquisite cocktails... a sidecar and then a paloma. Yum!“

“SO happy these guys are in the neighborhood! Their food is delish and the vibe is the best. I haven't been a "regular" at a place in well over a decade but my boyfriend and I stop in here at least once a week for the tasty food & drinks AND the awesome staff.
Sirin is an absolute gem, Colin and Donald are pretty fantastic and everyone else is top notch. They create the kind of atmosphere you want to come back to again and again. Love!“

“Such a fun place to grab a craft cocktail and some pho. The drinks were very unique and the pho was surprisingly very good. We also tried the Tofu Dip and the spring rolls. The dip was delicious but very rich and the spring rolls were very fresh. We definitely ordered too much food but it was delicious and a fun experience.“

“Quiet Wednesday night dinner. RW was fairly busy, but we probably didn't need reservations. Green River drink was a delicious suggestion from the waiter. We had the Fontina as an appetizer and it was a good calorie splurge. We split the chef's plate for dinner and it was just enough for two of us and let us get a mix of meat and sides. Hadn't been here since pre-Covid and it was just as good as I remembered. One star off atmosphere because we were seated way in the tight back corner, and the place was almost empty when they seated someone right next to us.“
“Fantastic location for music lovers, just a short walk from everything on the waterfront!“

I've been several times and everything tried on the menu is excellent.
Good for them for getting the NYT accolades, and the team is hustling even more with the increased flow.

“Canon is a true gem in Seattle's cocktail scene. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in a warm, intimate ambiance that perfectly complements their world-class drink offerings. The dim lighting, stylish decor, and towering "spirit library" create an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and inviting. The cocktail menu is nothing short of extraordinary-carefully curated, innovative, and expertly executed.
Whether you're a whiskey aficionado, a gin enthusiast, or simply looking to try something new, there's something to suit every palate. Their attention to detail is impeccable; every drink is a masterpiece in both flavor and presentation.
The staff deserves a special mention— they're incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their craft. They're more than happy to make recommendations and even customize drinks to your preferences.
Canon is the kind of place that turns an evening out into an unforgettable experience. It's no surprise that it consistently earns accolades as one of the top cocktail bars in the world.
Whether you're a local or visiting Seattle, this is an absolute must-visit spot.“

“Scrumptious sandwiches! We stopped here on a Friday night on our way to pick someone up at SeaTac after asking for suggestions for a vegan place near I-5. I always crave a good vegan sandwich, because they are a rare find. Husband (plant-based at home, meat-eater when out) and I (plant based & ethical vegan) had the cheesesteak and BLT sandwiches and split them with a side of potato salad. Everything was phenomenal. It was impossible for either of us to pick a favorite of the two. The food wasn't greasy, which is a nice change since restaurant food is almost always drenched & dripping with oil. I love that they make their food from scratch & would love to know how they make their marinades for the seitan and tempeh. My husband raved about the food to several meat-eating friends and told them they would never know it was vegan. Despite our one cocktail & mocktail being in tiny glasses & not worth the price (husband questioned if his vodka soda had any vodka at all in it), I will want to return here every chance I get for the food. Cute place & fun vibe and I hope they have many, many years of vegan success ahead of them. I wish they existed closer to where I live, I'd be a regular for their sandwiches.“

“Koko's has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Seattle! Coming from California, this is the first restaurant that has incredible mexican food. Along with a great tequila bar, overall great menu, incredible music and vibes, this place is fantastic! Would highly recommend for a 10/10 experience.“
“Great place to visit. We came on vacation and walked up to the brewery from the cruise tour. About a twenty minute walk.
Beer is good. The have happy hour Monday evening 4-10pm which was a great surprise! $5 beer of the evening and $8 burger and fries. Both were really good! Especially fond of the burger and fries. Just ask for little salt. The cashier is also the server but he was so kind and efficient. Great job!
I wish we lived local because we would definitely be back. Check it out. You’ll like it!“

“This place is… Different, but in the most beautiful way.
Walking into here, you can tell that the owner’s love is making pies. It’s an eclectic little shop with interesting lights and trinkets. It’s homey, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner goes to Burningman each year. It just has those vibes. It’s small, and there isn’t a ton of seating, but you won’t find better vibes anywhere in the city. It’s perfection. It’s like this man knows his passion is pies, and he brought his authenticity to the most perfectly homey little abode that you haven’t lived until you’ve experienced.
Let’s talk about what you REALLY wanna know about though… The pie.
I’ve been in here many, many times for sweet pie, but tonight was my first time having something savory. When I say I had the best chicken pot pie I have ever had, I am not kidding. It was filled to the brim with veggies and perfectly juicy chunks of chicken, and the crust had me SWOONING. I’ve never had a better chicken pot pie… And that’s when I decided that maybe I’ve been coming to Pie Bar all wrong for YEARS now. It wasn’t at all dry, and I’ve never had a better crust. That’s what made it. It was the crust. (AND the bite that I had that was perfectly peppery without being too much and the realization that THIS MAN adequately seasons his food!)
I decided to deviate from my usual cream pie dessert wise and had their deserted island pie. It was HEAVENLY. The apples were the perfect easily cut through texture without being mush, the medley of other fruits were the perfect ripe and sweet without being too much, and just as I suspected, that same delectable crush used of the pot pie was used here.
Don’t make the mistake that I did by passing by this Seattle Gem’s savory and fruit pies. And if you’re in the area, and you haven’t been in period, know that you’re missing out on the Best of Seattle. You’d better get in here QUICK.“
