“Their signature dish is a simple yet hearty meal. The noodle dish is served “deconstructed,” you need to put the ingredients in the boiling soup while it’s still hot to ensure they’re cooked. There’s plenty of soup, but I wish there were more of the other ingredients.“

“I had an amazing experience at Paik’s Noodle in Lynnwood! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The Stir-fried Jajangmyeon was rich and savory, the Soontofu Jjamppong had the perfect balance of spice and seafood, and everything tasted fresh and comforting.
The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was fast and friendly. It’s a great spot whether you’re craving Korean-Chinese comfort food or just looking for a satisfying meal.
Highly recommend Paik’s Noodle if you’re in the Lynnwood area—I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is my absolute go-to spot for Thai food. The Lynwood has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff members are always friendly, even when it gets busy. No matter what, I always order Stir fried squid with salted egg yolk—it’s a must-have for me. But what keeps things exciting is that they’re always introducing new dishes that bring me right back to home in Thailand. The flavors are authentic, comforting, and full of depth. Their cocktails are also incredible—perfectly balanced and a great complement to the meal. If you’re looking for an authentic Thai experience, this place never disappoints.“

“If you’re craving dumplings, this is a must-visit place. Every dumpling we tried was delicious. The stand outs were the beef & onion and pork xiaolongbao. Service was polite and quick. Skip dough zone and din tai fung, this place is much better. Truly a hidden gem!“

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“

“On Friday, Oct 18, 2024 we tried TK Noodle Cafe for the first time for lunch. The entire experience was beyond our expectations. Upon entering the small place, it was warm, cozy and spotless, and nicely decorated. The best was yet to come! The food was, well, the best Thai... ever. High quality fresh ingredients prepared to perfection. I enjoyed the Wonton Soup, and my spouse equally enjoyed the Goay Teaw Tom Yum, a peanut and rice noodle soup. As retired lifelong restaurant owners, we consider this spot a hidden treasure.“

All of your food is so good that they stick out a lot and put a bad ege on everything. They are the only thing that needs fixing.“

“Authentic Pho, and one of the best Banh Mi sandwiches in the city, rivaling Yeh Yeh's for first place. You can see immediately that the family operating this restaurant deeply care about the quality of their cuisine, maintaining tradition, and welcoming their neighborhood to share it.
I have nothing but praise!
Located in a relatively quiet plaza behind Washington Burrito; absolutely worth regular visits.“

“Chicken broth low sodium is just so good. Some of their spicy options get too salty but the low sodium options are just right.
Mix with a base of pork, clams, and mushrooms and you got a delicious mix.
Please add green onions it's so odd that's not there at the sauce bar.“

“Hanuman Thai Café in Kirkland is a clean, quaint neighborhood spot with a warm, friendly atmosphere and lots of art and photographs that add character and some are even available for purchase.
We started with the prawn fresh rolls, which were exactly as expected: fresh, light, and neatly prepared. The peanut sauce is worth calling out on its own, very good, creamy, and definitely on the spicy side.
For entrées, the Cashew Nut Lovers with fried tofu delivered bold flavors and crisp, fresh vegetables, but the portion felt small and the dish was surprisingly light on cashews.
The Orange Chicken was outstanding, with balanced flavors and the thoughtful touch of fresh orange slices that really brightened the dish.
Customer service throughout the meal was outstanding, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, and the moderate pricing makes this a comfortable, reliable choice for Thai food in Kirkland.
As a side note, the music is a very nice touch!
I noticed a review that gave this cafe One Star because of the music…..that’s a head scratcher. The food is excellent and the staff is amazing!“

“The food was great. One complaint I have is the insane amount of AI images on the menu. The AI images look so weird and off putting. Don’t look like real food at all and you can’t even figure out what ingredients are in the dish by just glancing at the image.“

“Pretty simple interior with specific kitchen smell but great soup pho in a large bowl (even small one) for good price and with fast serving. Ordered small seafood pho and 2 pork/shrimp spring rolls for only $30. Unfortunately, there was no hot tea which I prefer eith any Asian food. But hot soup worked too. Great place for hungry passers by.“

“We entered into an empty restaurant, but we did arrive within an hour of closing.
The menu had only pho , different sizes and different options. Chicken and beef.
I ordered the small beef combo and my partner ordered the extra large beef combo.
We were served a couple cream puffs as a complimentary appetizer. They were a nice airy creamy treat to start the meal. We didn’t have to wait long for our pho to arrive.
The small was a perfect amount of me and my partner finished the extra large, it was huge.
The broth was delicious, it hit the spot . We loved the chewy texture of the noodles. Overall we really enjoyed this restaurant and will be coming back, especially because it’s five minutes away from us.“

“One of my favorite spots for a delicious bowl of pho! The broth is full of flavor, and all the ingredients come together perfectly. The owners are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you're not in the mood for pho, the menu has plenty of other great options—I highly recommend the short ribs!“
“I have been dining at Teapot for around 25 years, since their early Capitol Hill location. Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least). So go check out if you haven’t before, and pay another visit (or many) if you are already a fan. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-26“

“Food was pretty good. It depends on what you order though. The pad Thai, pad see ew and fried pork belly with garlic was good. The crab fried rice and beef salad were not. The fried rice was bland. The salad had too many vegetables and ingredients it was not well balanced. Very strange.
Worst of all was the noise. It was incredibly loud, like disruptively loud. Was hard to talk and enjoy our food. Service was very good though, very friendly staff.
I recommend coming for the happy hour, great deals in good food.
UPDATE
Returned after a long time. Had a much better experience this time. Happy hour is still the best deal. Flavors are still very good. Portions are decent. It’s best to come when it’s not crazy busy.“

“Visited Bamboo Restaurant on a quiet Tuesday afternoon ,not crowded, which gave the place a calm, almost unhurried atmosphere. Service was quick, and the food arrived without delay.
I ordered the #14 pho large. The broth leaned toward ginger and lime, with a light oil finish and a subtle hint of cinnamon, a nod to the traditional spice base. However, it lacked the depth and cohesion you’d expect from a properly slow-simmered pho.
Typically, spices like star anise, cloves, and cinnamon should come together in a balanced, layered way , here, they felt slightly disconnected.
The noodles were thin and cooked well, though fairly neutral in flavor. The meats were a strong point , well-seasoned and prepared correctly, adding needed substance to the bowl.
I also tried the chili oil (saté), and this is where things dropped a bit. It had a heavier, more generic profile — lacking the aromatic depth and freshness you’d expect from a well-crafted blend.
It felt closer to a pre-made, store-bought oil rather than something developed in-house, which took away from the overall experience.
The atmosphere was extremely quiet no music, minimal interaction which made the space feel slightly awkward rather than inviting. Small details were also missing, like basic table spices or salt.
That said, there’s a certain honesty to this place. It has a simple, home-style feel: casual, calm, and straightforward.
At around $20 per person, it sits in a range where a bit more refinement in both flavor and experience would elevate it significantly.
A decent spot if you’re looking for something quiet and uncomplicated — but not quite there if you’re after a deeply traditional pho experience.“

“Very polite customer service! I ordered a veggie rice bowl with a fried egg, and it was ready within 8 minutes. Food was enjoyable, my only complaint is the sauce I got was tiny, and you have to pay for a refill on a fountain drink. but, my portions were big for the price, considering it's bellevue, and I got full so quickly from my portion!“

“The food is the reason you come here. It's extremely good. Flavorful, unique, and seem to be high quality ingredients. I see why people say it's the best ramen in Seattle. If you get a soup, the portion is insanely huge. Enormous, even. If you get a dry noodle, the portion is average sized.
All entrees seem to come with a chawan mushi appetizer, which is not only delicious but harder to find in Japanese restaurants these days. Entrees also come Japanese-set style with a pickle and tiny dessert. Decent little selection of sake and drinks. Also complimentary tea, which is delightful. Noodles seem to be made from scratch, too.
Cons:
- Very bare bones interior.
- Uneven service: My friends were 1/3 done with their meal by the time I got mine.
- Not all items on the menu list all of what is in the dish, or ingredients. This necessitates asking staff. But...
- Service was mixed. I think the cashier was new and couldn't give very many accurate answers about the menu. They described one of the dishes like carbonara despite there not being any cheese in it.
- Asking the cashier what ingredients are in a number of dishes holds up the line. This slows down service for others. I don't want to be that person. I would like to read the menu and understand what is in the food so I don't have to bother others, and understand what I am ordering.
I think in today's world of dietary restrictions, and allergies, it's not a great move for a restaurant to not list exactly what is in all of their food. I hope in the future, this resuatant is able to update their menu to explain the all the dishes better.
Example: Udon soup (wheat noodles, dashi broth, pork, scallion, ginger, egg)“

“Edit: First time eating in. Super nice staff. Fill out the card to place your order. The hostess spent time with me figuring out what was the right dish. She was super helpful. Sun was glaring at me, made my head hurt. They moved us to another table with the same problem. The food was pretty good! Not too spicy. I was still eating when they brought the bill. I guess they wanted me to leave! Restaurant wasn't busy Sunday at 3pm. Ugly soda cans stacked up in the middle of the restaurant to show the drink choices. We go out to eat specifically to have time with each other. We can try it again for the good food and lovely staff and see if we feel rushed out.
Previous: Wonderful take out noodles. Easy service, online ordering.“
