“When we arrived, we were told there would be a twenty-minute wait, and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant was clean, the service was efficient and friendly, and the food was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and presented with a unique touch.

We ordered the pork gyozas, Philly roll, Spider roll, and California roll.

I recommend calling ahead for a table if you’re planning to visit on a busy weekend evening.“

“I had the aloha roll. It was light and delicious. The rice is cooked perfectly. The wasabi is so good, more flavorful than intensely spicy. The sashimi is excellent quality. The white fish (called super white tuna), had zero fishy taste. I'd never tried it. The dessert was excellent. The cheesecake was one if the best I've had. Super smooth, and very fluffy, which made it too easy to finish! I really enjoyed it and was very impressed at the quality. Woodenville is lucky to have such a good quality international cuisine to add to the more mainstream (but also delicious) selection of restaurants in the area.“

Sushi-wise I was hoping for something more, it started really well and 4 nigiri are high lights and impressed me, the yozi scallop one brings you right into summer, and the one wrapped in clear Hokkaido seaweed feels like a fresh bite of ocean, apple wood smoked salmon has the perfect balance of smokiness. Oysters nigiri is really fresh and well done.
However, it didn’t go uphill as omakase usually do where next nigiri tastes even better, towards the second half of course some nigiri feels unbalanced, or even too salty because of overpowering source, hand roll is one of them.. desert didn’t wow me unfortunately.

If I bring in a client or my son, she treats them great and always tries to make conversation and I love it. “The sushi rolls are fantastic, the tap list is diverse and well-selected, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a very calm atmosphere, and they have board games if you’d like to grab a drink and hang out for a bit. Definitely will be back! “Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

“This is by far the best sushi I've ever had in my life. Definitely the best sushi restaurant in all of WA state. A hole-in-the-wall gem! If you find this place, you are blessed by the sushi gods. Every time my husband and I go to a different sushi restaurant, we always think - we should have just gone to Rolls and Rolls. The Salmon Platter is so buttery and the fish melts in your mouth, the texture is just divine. The miso soup is so refreshing, and their specialty rolls all have perfect proportions and are well made.

The service is some of the best I've ever experienced at any restaurant - it's a family owned place and the son is the waiter. He is very courteous and careful about when he comes over to ask how things are going, and always seems to come at the perfect times when we need something.

The atmosphere is great, only a few tables, and classical music playing in the background. You can see the parents making the sushi right there and they will greet you and say goodbye as well when you leave.

If there is one sushi restaurant I could recommend, it would be this one. It's a must-try.

“Today was my first time in with a recommendation from a friend. I came by myself and had no idea how the operations of this restaurant work. I asked a couple employees and they were very willing to help me through the system. They seated me at a bar seating in front of the conveyor belt. And explain to me with the overhead screen that I could order drinks and menu items from and I could also just take the small plates off the conveyor belt in front of me. When you are finished with your sushi plates you slide them in the opening just in front of you. You are charged individually for each plate. The other dishes you might accumulate you just leave on your table and they come by to pick them up. If you need Wasabi or anything extra I just had to ask. The sushi was very fresh and clean and nicely presented and easily recognized from the markings on the dishes with the names. There was a huge selection to choose from. Even a couple sides and cheesecake for dessert. You have fresh ginger and soy at your seat. The guard over the conveyor belt is just at the right height so you don't have to look at everyone else and then not looking at you. Also Fu Robots that roam around the restaurant not quite sure their responsibilities but they were fun to watch. I also ordered Ramen which came on a separate larger conveyor belt above and out of the way of the sushi bar. Being in a strip mall parking lot there is an extreme amount of parking and is easily accessed across from the Alderwood mall. I will definitely be back with friends and family more often. The sushi was a good price. The ramen is in a very small bowl so don't expect it to be a meal, but it tastes great. Definitely seems like a place you can bring behaved children.“

My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. “There are three price points for their brunch: 65 dollars for two dishes, 78 dollars for three dishes, and 88 dollars for four dishes, including unlimited fresh juice and coffee and some small breads. There are many choices on the menu, but some require extra money. Overall, they are delicious, especially negi & saba! The miso black cod is quite large, and the crab Benedict requires an extra 20 dollars, which is not worth it at all. You can avoid it. We ordered five dishes plus a supplement, and the total cost was 220 dollars. Anyway it was delicious! I will go again next week“

The sushi 🍣 🍱 was So Fresh, the cod so light and delicious! And the tea ☕️ was exquisite!

And to top it off, the area was Alive & vibrant!
