We thought it was not going to be nearly as good but still begrudgingly ordered because the craving for Chinese food was too real. We were so pleasantly surprised! “We recently stayed in an Airbnb very near China East. After touring for the day, it was easy to come back to the house and order. Pickup was 5-10 minutes, and food was ready and hot. We especially liked their sweet and sour soup. I ordered chicken with broccoli one night and shrimp with broccoli another night, garlic sauce on the side. The most important thing about any restaurant - the quality of the food.... Excellent. We ordered 3 different types of dumplings as well as salad, edamame, and fried rice noodles. Two adults and two children under 4... We literally ate every bite. We are small people. We rarely clean our plates this way at a restaurant. It is so good!!!

The person working here suggested that the pork and beef dumplings are their best ones and that the noodle dishes are great, so we ordered those items.

There was only one person for seating, taking orders, and cooking as best I could tell. Considering there were 3 other tables as well as carryout orders the food came pretty fast.

​The food here is absolutely stellar. With over 100 items on the menu, it’s genuinely hard to choose what to get, but it makes it incredibly easy to keep coming back to try something new!

​You know how Chinese restaurants are usually known for generous portions? This place takes it to a whole new level. Their portions are actually larger than most other spots we've been to. Just a single entree could easily feed at least three people! Because my family all wanted something different, we ordered a few dishes and now we have enough delicious food to last us for several days.

“I usually go to Fortune but they don’t use any delivery platforms. JJ Chen has some authentic Cantonese classics. My favorites are the ong choy with fermented bean paste, dim sum selections, crispy tofu skin pork rolls, and their beef stew casserole. I order from them at least 3 times a week now. Not American Chinese but truly authentic Chinese. Their white rice could use some attention so I order the brown or fried rice. Yay!“

This entree, though quite a bit less expensive, didn't have the tanginess of the sauce that I wish for. It also did not have as many vegetables as I am like. I thought I detected some ketchup in the sauce. I had a wonderful time eating with my companions, but I don't know if I would order this entree again.“

The white rice is sticky A+ for sticky rice! The egg foo young was made fresh and quite honestly the best I've ever had! The gravy is so delicious. The fried rice is great and ours had a good amount of broccoli and other veggies in it. The vegetable egg rolls are crispy and made with wonton. Everything about this food is super good!
