“Some of the best food I’ve ever had, I’ve had at Birch. I try to visit as often as I can. I usually go for the steak or pork chop. Both are cooked to perfection. Also, the fennel salad, crunchy farm vegetables, and anything involving tomatoes is recommended.“

“If you’re reading this, make the reservation. Easily a 10/10 meal. We started with the burrata, their specialty. It was, in a word, divine. The bread was perfectly toasted. The salad underneath the burrata changes seasonally, and the apricot, honey, and truffle oil elevated it beyond expectation. I could have had another order of this for my entrée and been set. My chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Unpretentious but perfectly executed. The potatoes and broccolini came to life with the lemon caper sauce. My husband had the mac n’ cheese with short rib. The creamy mac and tender meat don’t compete in flavor — they’re in a loving, happy marriage. This is what restaurant BBQ mac should be. I’m not usually a crème brûlée person, or at least, I thought I wasn’t. I let my husband pick the dessert, and it did not disappoint. Perfectly creamy and flavorful. This is the experience you want when you decide you’re ordering a dessert. The service was top-notch. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were all delightful. Heirloom MKE delivered one of my favorite dinners to date.“

The restaurant is so clean that it actually sparkles. Street parking can be a challenge but don't let that be a deterrent. You must try this restaurant!“

“Was never to Oscars before. I didn't expect that I'd be eating the greatest burger I've had in my Life. Meat was thick and juicy. Bun was clean and soft. Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. “The Knick has become one of our favorite restaurants to go too since moving to WI a couple months a go. It's a relaxing nice restaurant that has excellent service, fantastic food, and great ambience. We always ask for Chris every time we go there; he makes it such an enjoyable time, if it's just me and my wife; or me and friends. He's one of the best servers I've ever had and I highly recommend you request him! 5 stars!!!“

“I tried the Cali skillet this morning. The eggs were done perfectly over medium. A nice skin over the yolk that was pierced by toast yet an ample amount of fluid yolk for dunking toast in. The feta cheese really complemented the avocado, mushrooms and spinach. It's a great melody with a dash of Tabasco and Louisiana hot sauce and sourdough toast. I'll have to return to try the breaded veal cutlet.“

“We used The Suburban Bourbon / Three Legged Pig for our Wedding on 9/3 at the South Shore Pavilion in MKE and I cannot recommend this place more, 10 out of 10! We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! They also accommodated our vegetarian and GF friends :-) I will always call this a serendipitous encounter and I am so happy to have found The Suburban Bourban/ Three Legged Pig/ Pete and the whole crew, thank you all!“

The bartender was fantastic and informative of the drink and food selection. 😲 did you see that chicken sandwich, we ordered the double with fries to split and the crispy Brussel sprouts for the table. We also each had the deciduously driftless cocktail sooo good! I want to bounce back to those sprouts, man they were like veggie crack, topped with a maple vinaigrette and pistachios. And, you can't go wrong with the good ol beer and a shot. If you're looking for a good place to eat or a cool chill atmosphere for some drinks, check it out, it will not disappoint.“
