“I love this place! First time here, and what an experience!! The salmon tacos tasted amazing, bright, and the sause added a kick! The drinks were spot on! The owner took the time to introduce himself, adding further to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere! I WILL return! Highly recommended!“
“What a spectacular experience! the young lady who took my order took the time to walk me through her menu favorites and described how each was made was such a joy to speak to! The food is the best greek I’ve had in a very long time! I had the pork with red sauce as recommended! Highly recommend, I can’t wait to try something else next time!“
“Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.“
“We celebrated our dad’s 80th birthday here, the second big milestone our family has celebrated at Parkside 23. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Aaron, did a phenomenal job! The private room was perfect for us with just over twenty guests. It was a great space and beautiful ambiance. Our event coordinator, Brittany, was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend it!“
“Always fantastic- went for my wife's birthday and literally every thing was tasty and delicious- everything- amazing lamb carpaccio, excellent, not fatty pork belly- even the salads were really flavorful. Service, from changing our party size to helping with the surprise, was also “
“Birch restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with its amazing food and delicious drinks. The atmosphere exudes a captivating vibe that adds to the overall enjoyment. The bartenders are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing the dining experience. And let's not forget about the burger – it's simply yummy!“
“Fantastic burgers at any price, but for $10.75 you get the Big O, or a little less for the other burgers. Sides are great. Service is great (and usually pretty fast). Have yet to have a bad experience, and I don’t expect I will. I go out of my way to come here for lunch. Truly a hidden gem, although probably not for much longer.Parking: There’s a significant curb to get over to get into the parking lot. If you drive a low car, park on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Northstar Bistro isn't just about the food (though it's amazing!). The staff truly elevates the dining experience – they're friendly and attentive. Combine that with their creative cocktails and reimagined American classics, and you've got a recipe for a perfect night out.“
“Top burger spot in Milwaukee. I had the crave burger with a small fry. Very flavorful, the bun was incredible, and the fries were crisp. Service was quick and great. The cafe has 3 tables with chairs inside and a patio. Definitely more of a carry out spot, but wouldn't mind staying to eat if I had a small party.“
“O.M.G. You're not going to find better food in Milwaukee. Fight me. EVERYTHING on their menu is either amazing or fan-f#%*ing-tastic. If I were a richer woman, I would walk in and get one of everything on the menu. The first time I tried it, I was so impressed, that the next night when I had reservations to another "foodie" Restaurant, I left after appetizers and came back to Odd Duck. This place makes me want to bring them little duckies. And I don't say that lightly. I want to hold them and love them and make them mine. The restaurant, that is. Not the ducks. Those I could leave or take. BUT I love the place so Much, that I accept and respect their love for the ducks and will take them just as they are. Am I proposing to a restaurant? Mayhaps. Try it and tell me you're not in love.“
“Why have I waited for 5 years here in MKE to try this? Tonight, I took my father out to dinner. He is nearly 87 and pretty much loves steak. I'm vegetarian. Therefore, finding a place that has quality food for both of us is a chore. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness. The staff was exceptional. Our waitress, Mayah was as thoughtful, intuitive and fantastic as the best customer service goals could envision. But, the big thing, besides the beautiful, elegant space right across from Lake Michigan, was the meal. Bacchus offers several options for a fixed price meal. And, at $70, it is a serious deal. I found the vegetarian options inspired. I had the LACLARE GOAT CHEESE CURDS: blueberry compote, arugula, smoked walnuts, macerated blueberry, vanilla, and Tellicherry peppercorn. For my main course I had the butternut squash risotto. And, for afters, the pear and sunflower. My father went straight for the filet mignon. So, the result was a big thumbs up, 5 stars. Kudos also for actually having a vegetarian menu, being super accommodating to my father in his mobility scooter (holding the doors open, etc.) and lastly, thank you to the valet parking attendant for being so speedy and gracious. Go.“
“This is truly a neighborhood diner that is a local favorite spot. We went on a Saturday mid-morning for brunch, and trust me . . . We were not alone. That joint was packed. We had about a 25 minute wait which was cool. Once we got seated, we were greeted by our waitress. The wait staff is not like an ordinary staff. They are a group of people that look like they just put on whatever is clean and come to work. You really don’t know who works there as the restaurant staff look like the average customer. . , it’s kinda weird, but it works. Our waitress was awesome! We had the Buffalo chicken BLT wrap with hand cut fries and creamy coleslaw and the spicy chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips w/salsa and sour cream. The food was soooo flavorful and seasoned to perfection. It’s a very busy dish place where everyone minds their own business. Loved it!!! I will be back. This restaurant should be featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.“
“My wife and I love coming here when we're waiting for our dog to be groomed down the road. The chicken dumpling soup is awesome and I had a patty melt today. That was as good as I've had in many years. What I liked most is the service we received from Debbie. She was amazing. Debbie anticipated our needs constantly, even though they were very busy. Extremely impressed!“
“This was the new restaurant of the week and since I love breakfast I would stop over for Sunday brunch at first opening and I was the first one in. The interior is way nicer looking than the outside with a nice balance of old with modern looks. Huge wooden bar, tile floors, dark wood, tin ceiling and light walls completely covered with art etc. The table presentation was done very well. I would start with the red snapper which is a gin Bloody Mary spicy which was good but boring garnish wise with a string bean, shaved carrot and a thin pickle. The staff was excellent from start to finish. The menu has some very good items but I was there for the smothered browns which is similar to a slinger from the St. Louis area which I love. The smothered browns is crisply hash browns topped with melted cheese, chili, two eggs topped fresh chives with toast.. The smothered browns were so delicious and seasoned nicely with mild chili, just a great combination. The toast was excellent because it was a great quality bakery, an artisan style I like say with that nice chew like a sourdough. Overall this was a great upscale casual restaurant to chill on a Sunday morning having the brunch experience and reasonably priced I thought.“
“I really shouldn't share this, as this is a gem on the Beer Line / Brewers Hill divide that doesn't take reservations. The food and people are both great.Parking: Park on any nearby street and walk, but don't expect to get in if you aren't in line when they open.“
“Really delicious and beautiful food. Each of the entrees is uniquely amazing for its creative preparation and combination of flavors. The cheese curds, burrata, octopus and royal eggs provide a wonderful introduction to what turns out to be a very special culinary event. House made desserts like the triple chocolate cake and crème brûlée are excellent. We have tried almost everything on the menu and are always extremely satisfied with the entire experience.“
“I was a special guest on a special occasion, and though surpisingly the restaurant wouldn't have been my first choice (because of the lack of spices), I appreciate every single moment of the food, presentation and our server's professionalism and kindness. The description says the decor is minimalist, and I argue that the food was too... And it was great to be exposed to this in this manner. We ordered the chef's menu which was a fantastical plate after plate served up for us. They seriously consider allergies and restrictions which is top-tier. Reserve hours out of your time for this gastronomocal experience and of course, getting lost in conversation with your date. Oddly, I remember getting a small cookie at the end--that was probably a piece that wasn't needed and changed the taste in my mouth a little. Perhaps a wrapped handmade candy to take away as a momento, or maybe I just need better willpower? Love this place, would return on a special occasion splurge.“
“we had our wedding ceremony and reception here. Everything was absolutely wonderful from the food, service, details and care of table set up, etc. Couldn't have asked for anything better! Simply an amazing experience and everything was perfect.“
“We came here for a date night dinner last night and it did not disappoint!Everything we tried (deviled eggs, diplomat fries, tostones, risotto and burger) was phenomenal. Still thinking about the tostones and burger the next day! Also don't miss the banana bread for dessert, the perfect way to end the meal! Also tried the mezcalculated risk cocktail and highly recommend. Sad I was driving so I could only have one.Definitely somewhere we will return to again in the future and recommend to anyone“
“Please just stop in and try a plate. Food is made from the heart ❤️you can't go wrong with food like that! When speaking with the owner he is updating/upgrading the menu to a better selection and his creativity. The service is great! The place is very clean too! Thank you. I would definitely come back when on this side of town.“
“Our service today was less than great! Over 2 hours for lunch for 2 people. She barely checked on us. She didn't fill our waters unless we asked. Asked for a wine list to pick a wine to go with dessert, and she more less just handed it over and walked away. Then it took her 20min to bring dessert.“
“My husband agrees that the duck fat burger is one of the best he’s ever had! I love the vegetarian fat noodles they’ve had on the menu during the winter season, seriously mouth watering.. but pretty spicy (the Thai chilis they put in there are no joke and last time I was crying at the table for a good 25mins because I accidentally ate one), I wish there was a warning about that. The cocktails are good, but not anything fabulous or fancy. We’ve been back once since our first time there a couple months ago!“
“Three of us dined at the restaurant recently with an out-of-town visitor. Our server was very good and recommended wines that matched with our dishes well, but the service was a bit slow probably because the restaurant was quite full. The menu is large, and there are quite a few choices other than steaks despite its reputation as a steak house. I ordered Hudson Canyon Seared Scallops as my main course; the dish was quite flavorful, although the scallops were not as tender as those that I had at other restaurants in town. I also ordered the Seafood Gumbo soup and found the soup to be better than most outside those I had in New Orleans. The restaurant has a fine dining setup, and the price certainly reflects that. The quality of food is good but nothing amazing. As a hotel restaurant, it needs to have the capacity to serve a large number of customers when holding events, likely requiring standardization and limiting room for innovation. So, for the same price or a little less, one can find better-quality food elsewhere in Milwaukee based on my view.“
“Benny's is one of the best family restaurants I've been to in a very long time. Our server was fantastic, the food was delicious, and my classic bloody was made from scratch, not a mix! I had an avacado omelet, American fries and pancakes, Happy Birthday to me! Glad I picked here, we'll be back again.“
“This place is really fun! Casual art deco digs and a creative and engaging menu. We loved all of it! The Staff were superb, and the best bathrooms maybe ever. My only complaint was ALL the dishes were salty, like really salty. Even my salad. I didn’t really mind but, it was a bit much after a couple of course.I look forward to trying the other restaurants from these creators!“
“We ordered Ardent's Lent special Friday only fish fry and at $30 a pop for either perch or blue gill we were understandably curious about whether it would prove worth the cost but because the restaurant always delivers the best in culinary quality we felt pretty confident. Let me just say once we got home and opened up our 'pizza sized delivery boxes' we were stunned ! Each contained mounds of perfectly crisped French fries delicately sprinkled with parsley & dill , 2 containers of creamy flavorful tartar sauce , 2 slices of yummy marble rye slathered in sweet butter, a generous serving of piquant coleslaw and ample serving of PURR-FECTLY breaded & fried fish fillets + 3 fresh lemon wedges to add a bit of zest. Seriously in a post COVID world where restaurant prices continue to rise and in many cases quality & quantity slips an utterly delicious dining experience like this deserves all the accolades we can muster! Congrats to Ardent's entire team for having the dedication & talent to put it forth . Only regret? That Lent doesn't lasted all year long!“
“Traveling from Cincy to Wisconsin & picked a highly rated family restaurant!!Busy lunch crowd for superb food?I chose a salmon sandwich w/lemon aoli & a delicious bowl of New England Clam Chowder, made from scratch!! Service is very attentive, lovely greeter & pleasant “
“A classic place to dine in for breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a great menu for everyone to enjoy. Only wish the servers were more attentive, but overall, very kind. We will be back for more delicious breakfast and lunch!“
“Our lasts visit, contrary to almost all other visits, both diners ordered fare that did not have the tomato based dishes that we thought was a little overwhelming upon our last visit. WOW we were blown away with the great flavor, temperature, etc. I will continue supporting Tess as often as I can.“
“We ate here on 3/9. The food, cocktails and the service were amazing. Knocking a star off for the hostess who told us we needed to be out of there by a certain time. The kitchen got backed up so courses were coming out a little slow. This normally doesn’t bother me but since the hostess told us when we had to be gone, it ruined my ability to enjoy the entree and dessert as I was worried about getting out of there on time. It shouldn’t be something the hostess puts onto the patrons. It was our first time there and I am not sure about returning.“
“I was completely blown away. HANDS DOWN....the best biscuits and gravy I've EVER had. I've worked in upscale restaurants and think of myself as a great cook. I've NEVER had them like this. my God. Food was a 10. service was a 10. Ambience was a 10. Thank you so much!!!“
“Came here on a whim on a Saturday without a reservation. They have a bar and side lounge area where you can order drinks and appetizers.Appetizers were great, drinks are great. The layout in the lounge is a bit awkward, and the bartender had to search for me to deliver the food. And it was an awkward table to chair height to eat food.“
“First time trying this place it's a small dining area and parking can be a bit of an issue since they're in a gas station parking lot, that is rather small. The food was fabulous. I had the taco dinner which on Tuesday was $17 for three tacos, a side of beans and rice as well as a free drink. The tacos I had were two ground beef, and one shredded pork they were very tasty. Really loved the seasoning on the shredded pork. The beans with the, cheese on top were fabulous. Mexican rice was cooked just right would definitely go back. The server was very attentive. They were just a little stingy on the ice for the ice water I requested for some reason other than that everything else was fantastic.“
“Great service to accommodate the amazing food we had. Owners/management on site and very friendly. They were checking in with all the tables and very accommodating to the patrons. Looking forward to trying more of the menu! Mushroom Swiss was the best I have had in quite sometime! Kid friendly dining room with a lounge/bar up front.“
“Love this joint, wife loves this place, grreat food. The service was great and always has been. Wonderful place, wonderful food, wonderful people, Want a nice experience? come here, but don't mind the hipster douchebags. Get a beer and relax.“
“One of our go-to places for happy hour! They have great drink deals and the food is also so good. I normally get the house sangria but this time I tried some sour cherry and lime spritzer. It wasn't on the menu for some reason but the bartender recommended it, as it's very popular. for food, we went with the breakfast poutine - always a good choice. And we tried the pancake batter fried cheese curds which were AMAZING. They come with maple syrup for dipping and it's unreal. Such a cute spot and it never disappoints!“
“Amazing...entry kinda threw me off, but the world opened up to low cost food that is amazing...definitely worth the cheat meal...great service, amazing food! I had the birria burrito, great...fruity pebble waffles, good balance of both waffle and fruity pebbles (not excessive), had a smoothie, which was full of sweetness but worth it, taste didn't disappoint. all for under 30$ with 2 ppl. Highly recommended“
“Coming from a foodie town of Chicago and also chasing delicious bites, I was so so so impressed with the dinner party I attended this weekend. We were invited to a surprise birthday party for a dear friend, and I did not know what to expect of this “restaurant.” I leave the word restaurant in quotations because it was much more than that. It was an intimate dinner party EXPERIENCE where the staff blended in the background and it felt like our group were the only ones there. Everyone had a hand in the experience, from the bartender to the servers to the chef. They were unobtrusive, funny, helpful, and generous. We were in the upstairs room and there was plenty of space to mingle and move around. What I love, as a self professed window shopper, is how much stuff there is to look at. I am seriously jealous of Chef David’s eclectic collection of goods. I can get lost in all his secret rooms passageways and antiques. I could easily spend hours looking at everything in his office alone just like I would at Target or Hobby Lobby lol. I would give 6/5 if I could for experience.Food was amazing, curated and discussed beforehand, per our friend who hosted this party. He planned everything out with the chef, having some choice in it, but not all. Regardless, all courses were amazing and plentiful. You do not leave hungry. The crème brûlée was my FAVORITE PART. Oh, and the 4 wine pairings were good too :)Parking was easy. If you’re able to find street parking, there is plenty of that surrounding that location. Otherwise, there is a parking lot adjacent to the building. Not only that, I find it special when the chef comes out to show their gratitude and socialize with the guests. Chef David was gregarious and hung out with us as we meandered room to room. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s created with his incredible team. The stories behind each artifact to why he chose what dishes to make, it kept me entertained for hours.“
“First time here and we’ll surely be back. Appetizers were delicious, we ordered the French onion dip and Brussels. Ended up splitting the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was nice and crispy. Service was 10/10. All around a great experience. Amazing drink menu too!“
“Another hidden gem! Cute place on the edge of a neighborhood near shops and industry. Very friendly service, a bit pricey, but well worth it for creative and tasty gourmet food and cocktails. The house old fashioned's were excellent as were the other cocktails. Four of us ordered 2 entrees and numerous small plates to share, and deserts. Please the photos and descriptions. Did forget to photograph the Five spiced smoked chicken which was lightly smoked and delicious. Also had the bok choy salad. Highly recommend all we had. Great mix of flavors,“
“What a find. The fish fry was the BEST I've had 8n a LONG time!! Waitress was hopp8ng but provided excellent service!!Parking: They've got a drive through also. I'm sure it's for pre-orders.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for entrance“
“This was a random Google find, and I'll definitely be back. The Chicken sandwich was delicious, the breading light and crispy (and completely attached!); one of the best I've had in a while. The breakfast Burrito was a good size, bigger than expected as it was about standard burrito size (you know how some places offer smaller breakfast sized burritos) The corndogs were pretty good, although they were about half the size the picture online made them appear. Fries did not disappoint and my son said his burger sliders were good. Overall it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Employees seemed in good spirits too.“
“This is a nice neighborhood bar. I go there to watch sports as they have a good setup with multiple screens showing just about any game you want to see. The food is good and reasonably priced. They have a good selection of beers on tap. Friendly and attentive bartenders. The only thing I can say negative is that it can get pretty loud, so if you're looking for a quiet place for conversation this isn't it.“
“Employees seem to actually care, food is very tasty. It would be 5 * if it was in a better location.I personally have had:RibsBrisketPulled porkSmoked chickenBolognaCole slawMac& cheeseBBQ beansCorn breadBrisket ChiliMy favorites meats are the pork and chicken. Their brisket is good, but mine is better ?. They often have special dishes like Frito pie. Their smokey sauce is my favorite.. perfect place for a late lunch.Parking: They have a very limited amount of parking spaces.“
“If you love a "mom & pop" atmosphere, with great food at reasonable prices. Good sized portions and friendly staff; this is your place! Would recommend the Copper Kitchen to everyone!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. We had an almost 4yr old and 8 mo old. Very accomodating!“
“My husband and I had a table reserved for their Valentines Day special and im so glad we gave this restaurant a chance! It was our first time going and I'm already excited for the next time we go! From the food, to the ambiance, to the service... you can't go wrong! I haven't had a restaurant leave an impression on me in so long, but Bellis Bistro did it! They were courteous, played great music, served up delicious food and made our time spent there worth it. For what I paid, I feel like I got my money's worth. If this restaurant has been on your bucket list for awhile I suggest you give them a chance. I'm so glad I did!“
“My husband and I met up with a few friends here on a Saturday night and it was super busy! It took a little bit of waiting at the bar to get a table, but we did settle into a booth soon enough. Our waitress was super sweet and was clearly working very hard on this busy night, but took excellent care of us. I had a French Kiss followed by the House Daiquiri. The French Kiss was yummy, but a little strong on the hibiscus syrup in my opinion. The House Daiquiri was confusing - all the daiquiris I've ever had have been served neat in a coupe - my friend ordered a vodka gimlet which was served this way - but the daiquiri was on the rocks in a tall glass. It was very good nevertheless. My husband got an old fashioned, which he thoroughly enjoyed. They also have some bar food which we were excited to try. We ordered a basket of salted fries and risotto bites, but found out after that they were out of the risotto bites. The fries were really good: the outside was crispy and inside fluffy and not dense. It was also seasoned very well. I imagine the risotto bites were equally delicious, so we'll have to go back to try it! Our check did include the risotto bites, but our waitress was sweet and fixed it right away. Overall a good experience and would definitely come back!“
“Ok this place is adorable. I love the open concept, colors, and greenery. Was a very comfortable place. We had a couple different things on the menu. The pork was tasty but a little on the dry side. The potatoes delicious and the chicken and waffles was very good. The best of the night was hands down the banana pudding.“
“Tried this place for the first time for Easter Brunch. It was a buffet for $70/adult. The food was perfect - everything tasted wonderful and there was a nice selection. The service was great too - attentive & friendly. I'd definitely try this for regular dining but I'll also be looking to come back for a brunch.“
“Something about George Webbs is so classic, with a Wisconsin diner atmosphere. It's not exactly cheap, but the experience of sitting in an old-fashioned webbs diner is a part of what you're paying for. Burgers ate uniquely theirs, which is good in their own way.“
