“Classic must try pizzeria. Absolutely delicious, they come up with great pie ideas and they are ALL hits. Their service is impeccable and their excellent cocktails give the experience the cherry on top . To add to that the prices are super reasonable. Great atmosphere, can't recommend this enough. It's become a go to return spot over the years, wether I go for a nice dinner with my partner, or getting "fancy" pizza and drinks with friends, this is the place to go.“

“We hosted our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at Madison's.
Sienna assisted us in planning the menu, Lauren was our personal bartender and Christina, the Manager, coordinated everything the night of the event.
The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful.
We couldn't be happier that our son and his wife chose Madison's as the venue for this special event in all of our lives.
We also opted for the ice cream for the guests at the end of our night and it was a hit with everyone.

“I went here with a few of my friends and had a BLAST. The ambience was just amazing. There was very nice, dim and colorful lighting. Lots of board games were available as well as a free snack table full of tasty looking treats. My friends I had played an overwhelming amount of rounds of Sequence while we sipped on our very unique and I am not quite sure how else to put it other than 'exotic' drinks. I was experiencing flavors I have never had before and loved every moment of it. I highly recommend letting the bartenders just do their thing for you!“

“We held a birthday party at State Line Distillery on short notice due to weather concerns with the outdoor venue that was planned. They were exceptionally welcoming and extremely accommodating. So many guests commented on what a great space State Line offers—both inside and outside. Not to mention the delicious high-quality drinks and friendly, helpful staff. “You can choose the unlimited refill option or order individually. If you choose unlimited refills, you can order sushi, sashimi, rolls, etc. until you are full. The sushi and sashimi aren't very large, but the taste is good. Recommended for anyone who can eat a lot. The service was also friendly.

I ordered hibachi and ramen separately for lunch and it was great value for money. Contrary to my concerns, Hibachi was able to eat a generous amount of fairly tender beef. The ramen was a little different from what I expected, with a spicy Nagasaki Jjamppong-like taste, but I enjoyed it in its own way. Considering the price, I think this is pretty great.“

“They have very good food but the staff makes peanuts and is hungry for tips. I usually try to tip 20-25%. However one time when I got the bill it was way more than I had expected and I didn't have the funds to leave a tip. I felt really bad. To top it off I was told if I couldn’t tip better. don't come back. I instead of 2 drinks costing $13.00.(like the other businesses on the block)The bill was $21. I would have been leaving at least $5, but now I couldn’t. I feel the staff is a bunch of snooty college students, living off their rich parents dime.“

“I met a friend here for the first time. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Once we ordered, we sat outside on the adorable patio.

For breakfast I ordered a peach danish (delicious!), orange juice (freshly squeezed), and the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon. The sandwich was delicious. It was cheesey, and the croissant was flakey and absolutely perfect.

The outdoor patio is so cute. I’m mad at myself for not staying longer to read a book.
I also got a chocolate chip cookie to go, which was also wonderful.

“I've been a long time customer here (15+ years). Besides the beauty of mixing Gelato with espresso (order the Javalatto people), my favorite thing is the environment. I love seeing the long term staff, and the owner, who I've seen throughout my time as a customer. Most of all, I love that they ALWAYS make me happier, especially on days I'm having those rough mornings. I really try to go in on those days I know are gonna be long. Between my delicious caffeine boost, and their warm welcomes, they always start my morning off better. Thank-you to Renee and all of the Java Cat staff for the morning pick me ups.“

“This place is a gem of a restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks are all 10/10. One of the only places in Madison I have seen tofu skins so that alone got me in the door. A lot of the small plates are vegetarian/vegan. Everything we have tried in our two visits there has been excellent - potstickers, green beans, tofu skins, scallion pancakes. They have specials that also sound great. Service on a busy night is a little slow, as can be expected. Would recommend a reservation as they are not a huge place and fill up quickly. Highly recommend having a meal here!“

“Chocolate Shoppe catered our wedding dessert and they were completely perfect! They bring a truck with about ten flavors including 1-2 DF flavors, and scoop into dishes or cones. The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

It’s a small place that offers a cozy atmosphere and an awesome karaoke catalog (Karafun) — they’ll have pretty much any song you could think of singing. Be aware that if you want to be able to sing on weekends, you’ll probably need to pay to move up in the queue or arrive early. The drinks served are standard for a college bar, nothing fancy.“
