If it says spicy it’s spicy but it also delivers a balance of flavor with heat. It was an explosion of awesome in my mouth. So, if you are looking to eat some delicious food while in Madison and need a foodgasm, visit Stadium Take Out you will have your mind blown.“

“They had a glitch with their online order; let me order Prime Rib on a day that they did not serve; when I arrived to pickup, they had no online order for me, even though I received a confirmation. “We held a birthday party at State Line Distillery on short notice due to weather concerns with the outdoor venue that was planned. They were exceptionally welcoming and extremely accommodating. So many guests commented on what a great space State Line offers—both inside and outside. Not to mention the delicious high-quality drinks and friendly, helpful staff. “I have been here multiple times, and every visit is nothing short from amazing! Wait staff are always unbelievably friendly and attentive, the food is always made fresh to order and comes out looking beautiful every time. There isn’t a single item on the menu that I haven’t liked. Prices are more than fair, and competitive with most State St restaurant prices. The owner is very sweet and is always happy to see you! Every time I’ve come alone she makes sure I have a stuffed furry friend to keep me company.

If you’re ever in the downtown area, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch, dinner, or a snack, and have it accompanied by a beautiful cocktail!

“El Grito stopped by my clinic to bring delicious tacos and cheer to our healthcare workers during this crazy time. The tacos we had were smaller, so you didn’t feel guilty eating all of them real quick. The flavor was awesome too! I highly recommend adding the mango habanero sauce, if you like that extra kick! “Chocolate Shoppe catered our wedding dessert and they were completely perfect! They bring a truck with about ten flavors including 1-2 DF flavors, and scoop into dishes or cones. The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

“The best bagel shop in town!! They have such delightful and affordable bagels with all kinds of fillings. My husband and I love their Lox and their breakfast sandwiches - egg, cheese and honey glazed ham. 😋 we come here every other weekend. It’s always packed with lots of people but they move pretty quick. I also simply love their EGG BAGELS and chocolate chip bagels!!!“

“We came for lunch, as I was looking for a good ribeye. Immediately felt at ease upon entering. Even though it appeared pretty busy, we were sat right away. We needed time to peruse the menu, and our server Jordan never made us feel rushed. He brought us water, and gave us some time. We had the spinach dip, bone in ribeye, and ahi tuna steak. It was obvious that the dip was freshly made, and my rare ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. The housemade chive butter was also excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the music stylings were en pointe for my taste. This is the kind of establishment I love to support.“

“I got a 12 oz half caff hot mocha with oat milk and toasted marshmallow with a chocolate croissant at ~2p on a Wednesday. I didn’t have to wait long at all, there was not an overwhelming amount of people, and the barista was very sweet. The pastries seemed to be either prepackaged or at least not made in house. I wanted a sweet treat, and that’s what I got!“

“They have very good food but the staff makes peanuts and is hungry for tips. I usually try to tip 20-25%. However one time when I got the bill it was way more than I had expected and I didn't have the funds to leave a tip. I felt really bad. To top it off I was told if I couldn’t tip better. don't come back. I instead of 2 drinks costing $13.00.(like the other businesses on the block)The bill was $21. I would have been leaving at least $5, but now I couldn’t. I feel the staff is a bunch of snooty college students, living off their rich parents dime.“

“I've been a long time customer here (15+ years). Besides the beauty of mixing Gelato with espresso (order the Javalatto people), my favorite thing is the environment. I love seeing the long term staff, and the owner, who I've seen throughout my time as a customer. Most of all, I love that they ALWAYS make me happier, especially on days I'm having those rough mornings. I really try to go in on those days I know are gonna be long. “The beer tender was nice and helpful, the place was cool, their quad beer was really on point. The only reason this place does not get 5 stars is the food, the mozzarella sticks were not good and the corn dog bites was not good. This was our 301st brewery we been to“

Bonus point for the nice selection of whisky and spirits, great for a restaurant. Also, during happy hour a few items are very fairly priced. I of course had to have a bite of everything before driving home and ended up putting it in the trunk so that I wouldn't eat it all on the way. Everything I had was very flavorful and drummies were excellently spicy! Even though it was 5 hours ago now, I have to say I think everything traveled well and was just as tasty as my first bites. The menu is big with a lot of options for every kind of eater. My only regret is not getting more! I can't wait to go back and try the Reuben and Gyro!! 10/10 Highly Recommend!“

“First time at Twisted Grounds but right from the moment you walk in you know what kind of service you’re getting.

The employees were so sweet and kind and helped with any and all questions.
The atmosphere is really fun lots of windows and plants and a variety of seating like desks and tables for eating or studying tables for board games/chess and couches for chatting or reading.

As for the menu there is tons of coffee, tea, food and even some alcohol options. Along with a dietary restrictions key.

Service was quick and and will definitely be coming back here sometime soon.“
