I couldn't find my cell phone on my drive home and wanted to call my husband to see if I left it in his vehicle, which I did. “Chocolate Shoppe catered our wedding dessert and they were completely perfect! They bring a truck with about ten flavors including 1-2 DF flavors, and scoop into dishes or cones. The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

“Every time I go to Madison, I end up visiting Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. They have a great selection of premium ice creams to meet almost everyone’s tastes. The waffle cones are always fresh and a great accompaniment when I’m not feeling hungry enough to go bigger with one of the sundaes.

There’s not a lot of seating, but a walk down State Street with ice cream in hand is just lovely.“

“So excited to have found this place at an event in Raleigh and I found out they are in Knightdale station park every weekend! Creative names like Kitty Kitty bang bang which is what I tried it’s cheesecake ice cream with raspberry swirl and chocolate chunks so delicious! True creamy texture that you’d expect from Wisconsin. Really friendly and helpful just can’t say enough good things. My brother tried the exhausted parent(?name) which was bourbon espresso ice cream with chocolate. He loved it. “Our wedding at the union was fantastic! Sam Mack (venue coordinator) was a great communicator and all of the Union Staff was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the planning process and day-of. We had our ceremony in Tripp Commons and our cocktail hour and reception in Great Hall. The food was good (not the best I've ever had, but also not the worst), the cocktails and drinks were great, and it was so nice not having to make a million different decisions. They really guide you through the process which was exactly what we were looking for. The Union has done hundreds of weddings and it really shows. The whole day went very smoothly and the price was right! Would highly recommend, especially for UW grads!“

People working there were also really nice.

Downside is I wanted to split the small portion into two flavors but they could only do two flavors for the medium or large size.

Another catch was that they didn't give any taste samples do you get stuck with what you take.

“Have tried several of the flavors and they are all amazing! Friendly staff and wonderful environment! Indoor and outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. My favorite so far is the Cherry Pie a la Mode. I can't wait to try the milkshakes and floats on future visits!“

“Try their gorditas! They're slightly crispy pockets of corn (maíz) filled with a Mexican stew of your choice. At $4.99, it's a bargain. We had the asado (ahSAHdo) (chunky beef stew in red sauce) and the picadillo (Peek a Dee yo), a ground beef with small cubes of potatoes. Both were tasty and just a bit spicy, with the asado being a favorite. If you are really hungry you might be able to eat 2, but 1 makes a nice lunch. I'll have to go back for their amazing selection of ice cream. Prep time is about 10 minutes, so you might order ahead by phone or Uber Eats. You can also get delivery on Uber Eats for $1.50.“

“Me and another woman were in to get some ice cream and me a Cappy. Unfortunately the store was out of the elderly ladies favorite ice cream. So she was looking at the donuts. She then decided on what one she wanted. The young man working gave the donut to her for free. She was so grateful. The smile on her face when she got the donut made my day. Which I had just come from a Dr appointment and was upset with the out come of that. Just know that whoever he is working there is sweet and hope good things come your way.“

“For fast food the burgers were very good the fries were also very good. The quality of the food was outstanding for fast food. The price was also very good. This isn't anything gourmet but definitely worth the price. Hands down better than other fast food competitors. I really liked that there was malt vinegar available as a condiment for the fries. The menu is relatively simply which shows they are focused on doing what they do well. For what is an typical fast food hamburger joint everything ran smooth and was pleasant. If you are looking for a really good fast burger and fresh cut fries that were frozen and don't want to pay 30 plus dollars at five guys this is the place to go. I would say the food stacks up better than five guys at about half the price.“

“Delivery, my RC was FCFS from 7:30am - 2:30pm. They are open from. I checked in at 11am and checked out at 12pm. Just follow the signs for shipping and receiving, you will figure out. Building 2 and dock 9 it’s little bit hard to park but overall it’s good. I’m not sure for overnight parking. This is a good company.“

“One name, Gary. Gary was the gentleman that took my order and the counter along with about 5 other customers during my duration of waiting for my food. Gary was the nicest person I have ever encountered while ordering food. Gary went above and beyond with each customer including myself to make each transaction personable. It was a Thursday evening and fairly busy inside and out. Gary greeted each customer with a friendly face and would take it upon himself to take something off someone’s shirt or something they were wearing to start up a conversation. One particular customer was an elderly woman and her middle age son who was mentally challenged. She approached the counter alone but Gary asked for her son to come up too and to not be afraid that he wouldn’t hurt him. Carried on a conversation with him and his mother asking his name and just being in the moment with him while they placed their order that evening. You don’t see people like Gary often enough anymore in the world and it really touched my heart on how he interacted with every person that came to his register as of each person was special in their own way. I’m not one to come inside and order and wait for my food or to take time to do surveys, but this interaction is one I will not forget. We need more people like Gary. I tried doing this on the Survey but it limited me on Characters I could use. Hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears. Thank you“

“Excellent food! This was the last stop we made before traveling south to Tennessee. We had to experience Culver's in Wisconsin! Of course the cheese and beef is incredible. That's something you don't get outside of Wisconsin. It just isn't the same. If you have to wait a bit, it's well worth it. Everything is so fresh.“

“I'd say staff is generally pleasant and orders are correct about 90% of the time. I know they're very busy and doing their best. The registers seem like they may be a bit complicated for some of the employees taking the orders; especially if you have additions or subtractions to what you're getting. No big deal, they make it right no questions asked. The building is usually clean and stocked. I appreciate very much they also employ people with some genetic conditions to give them something meaningful to do. If only others in society who live off the government would want to work like these great people....“
