“Great nostalgic atmosphere with super friendly wait staff. Outdoor seating area is like eating in a park with big shady trees and picnic tables, even small kids' tables. We brought the dog and ordered a cheeseburger for her. The staff knew it was for the dog so they made it with no bun inside a container so she could eat out of it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“

“I went through the drive thru Sunday with my husband, youngest and grand pup. My daughters name is Ella. The lady working the windows name was Bella. She was so nice and my daughter can't stop talking about how she has the same name as her friend and her name is almost just like hers. The other people were so nice as well. Keep up the amazing work your doing. I've never been let down there except when they forgot something but they made it right, right away. Yall deserve a raise!“

“Marissa offered me some pointers to make my choices a bit easier (there were so many things to want to try on the menu!), and keep in mind the crab stuff is all Thursday's only or Thursday to Sunday.
I chose the Sally's Duo which comes with the soup of the day and a steak with mashed potato and gravy. From the 3 soup options, I chose the seafood chowder soup which was amazing.
Unnecessarily tempting add-on, but equally delicious was the dessert - the Fudge topped chocolaty cake - if you can fit it, don't miss it.
Free seating when you enter from any one of 3 entrances, so make your choice and you'll be served. Service was great and quick.“

“We love walking through Lakeside Park and it always seems so well maintained in the warmer months. However, it was discouraging to walk through recently and see the walking paths with huge areas of ice and snow still. I even saw an elderly lady slip and fall because of it. It would be nice to see those maintained better.“

“I met some friends for breakfast at Rolling Meadows today and everything was wonderful. We had such a sweet, friendly waitress; very attentive. I had the Avocado Toast and they were happy to make it with a hard-boiled egg in place of the poached eggs it listed on the menu. The sourdough toast was so good and obviously homemade. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in years. My friends were all very pleased with their meals, too. I will definitely return, it was a pleasant and relaxing meal with delicious food!“

“What a cool spot. Amazing burgers homemade pizza with all fresh ingredients and a full bar. The nicest most friendly people behind the bar and a good selection of drinks. Great atmosphere with music and tvs! Try the half pound burgers grilled up fresh. Owners wife also sells her art in the bar check it out!“

“We went out to eat at a supper club in the Holy Land last night. Paid over $60 for just the 2 of us and couldn't even eat even a quarter of the food due to the lack of quality in the food. So today we came to Sombreros, the food was excellent! The portion sizes are very generous. We paid only $45 for the 2 of us with large portion meals and 2 drinks a piece. We had plenty of left overs to bring home. We will easily enjoy a total of 4 or 5 meals from this wonderful visit. The meat is excellent quality. I cannot say enough about how good this place is. It's a must try place!“

“My wife and I are new to the area. Friday fish fry is a must if you live in WI. We both tried something different and shared, walleye for her and I had haddock. Awesome! We will be back for more all the staff was friendly and place nicely set up.“
