“Everything I’ve tried has been amazing! The quiche florentine is THE BEST. The kale caesar salad is delicious. The salty bread and chocolate chip cookies never disappoint. I could go on…just stellar.”

“When traveling I like to try local places when able. I’ve found myself in Wheeling to photograph the Cathedral. Anyway, I stopped in for dinner, was seated quickly and water received immediately. I kept it simple and just had the burger with fries. It was cooked perfectly and arrived pretty quickly. (This place is not a burger joint, the have options, such as lamb for example.) Chelsey was my server, she did great as well. Would definitely return if I found myself in Wheeling again!”

“Went for lunch today at the moundsville location. If you haven’t been there you are really missing out. Super friendly people you feel like you are at home. I got a chefs salad and it was one of the best salads I have ever had! It’s hard to make a salad phenomenal but they did it! So fresh and delicious I am dreaming of going back! It will be very soon. Plan on trying everything on the menu! If you haven’t stopped please do yourself a favor and do! Love it!”

“Amazing Food, Service, and Atmosphere. I asked my girlfriend to marry me and they were so helpful :) I called ahead of time and talk to the owner, Dino. He set aside his best table and made sure his best server, Nicole, took care of all our needs. Then I talked to the dessert chef and she did the rest :) They help make a great memory :) In today's world it is tough to fine such a gold mine. They treat you like family and the food is too die for :) I strongly recommend you also purchase a jar of their world famous spaghetti sauce :)”

“I love that we have such a GREAT and authentic Mexican restaurant here in the Grove! Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is fun and energetic, food is AMAZING!!! When I run with my friend in the evenings, the smell of the food makes me want stop running and grab a taco instead. I always throw a quick wave at the staff as I run past, and they always wave back with big smiles! If you have not stopped here yet, you are missing out on meeting some great people and enjoying delicious Mexican cuisine! Love Chayos!!!”

“I took my family of four there after a friend recommended. Usually, when we go out to dinner at least one meal isn’t that good. I was amazed that everything was absolutely amazing. The steakhouse burger I ordered was hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The poutine was great, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese was sublime. My wife and 17 year old daughter ordered chicken sandwiches and they raised the bar on chicken sandwiches. The salad was great. My younger daughter (picky eater) ordered a pizza from The 304 Wood Fired Pizza, it was the best pizza I’ve had in the Ohio Valley. In conclusion, this place is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Wheeling. Definitely going to be a regular there. I’d have to give it a 15 out of 10 rating.”

Not only did they hook us up with a sweet discount, but the pizza was so good it practically disappeared the moment we opened the boxes. I’m convinced they put magic in the crust. The staff was super friendly and didn’t even judge how much pizza we ordered. 10/10 would party (and eat) with them again. Use them for your next get together! You won’t regret it. ❤️🍕🎉”

“Visited , Thursday 8/7/25. Never complain, but the 2 salads ordered were Oh so , disappointing. Salads were not presented as advertised, with missing ingredients , and quality of ingredients were lacking. Our server did ask if we needed more salad dressing for both salads. The portion size was smaller than we anticipated. Hopefully, just an off night !”

“This is the first time that we've visited Route 88 Burgers and Brew during the summer. The food, as always, was delicious, but this time we sat outside. Oglebay is beautiful and peaceful. A few people were enjoying the driving range and the par 3 golf. A few were also around the fire pit. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches. Oglebay has also installed a bar area with seating on the deck for customers to enjoy.”

“Have been going to Wheeling for many years but have never went to The Pointe. Our experience was extraordinary and we will most certainly return. From the service to the food was absolutely superb. Our group of 6 were promptly seated and served immediately. I ordered the caprese salad as a starter and it was perfect. My main was the halibut with risotto and was truly one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. The rest of the group all ordered steak and they all were cooked to perfection. Our server was so sweet and her service was impeccable. The restauraunt manager was so kind and inviting. I suggest if you are visiting Wheeling most definitely go to The Pointe as i can not wait to go back.”

“This week I took my high school aged class to Oglebay Resort for a field trip. We took this same trip last year and had lunch at generations outside on the deck. This year when we returned all they asked for was dinner at generations. A quick search showed me that it was trivia night. There was NO WAY I was taking 20 teenage girls there during trivia!! 🤣🤣🤣 They were more than happy when I said we could order take out! I felt awful calling to order food for 22 people during trivia. I wish I could remember who I spoke with, she was sweet, happy, and pleasant! She didn’t seem phased or bothered by my huge order! When we completed to order she read everything back to me and it was perfect! She then replied with “give us 25 minutes and we will have everything ready” I couldn’t believe it!! 25 minutes for alllll that food!! I went to pick up our order and sure enough it was ready!! She helped me carry all the bags to my car, still smiling and sweet as ever! I thanked her and was on my way back to the resort! The kids all got their dinner from Generations and everything was perfect! Not one order had a mistake! Our food was amazing and perfect!! Thank you!! You all are amazing!! My class will hopefully see you again next year! I will see you again soon!! You are definitely one of our all time favorites!”

“The food is awesome. The service is good 75% of the time. If it’s crowded, it’s rather slow service. We ate there late Saturday afternoon. I was so disappointed because someone was smoking in there. Not smoke free.. 3 signs say “ No smoking or vaping” I don’t like eating with smokers smoking!”

“We came into Wheeling for the Symphony and this place was in 5 minutes walking distance, and I’m so glad we came! “Great food, service and a cool atmosphere. I like how the bar area is separate from the dining area. The patio was nice too. With many TVs, it's a good place to watch sports. The menu had a plethora of choices from pizza, pub grub, seafood, many salad choices (I recommend the basil vinaigrette) and great steaks! Definitely my new go to spot when visiting Wheeling.”

“First time I went to pickles, I went specifically to get their fried pickles. This was about a year and a half ago and the coating was very thick and I was highly disappointed. I thought how can you have a bar with that name and not have outstanding pickles??? My girlfriend talked me into going again the other day and I thought okay. I'll give them another chance. Oh my gosh! Whoever made them did a perfect job. The coatiing was thin. The pickles were large Spears. It was awesome! Awesome! awesome! Did I mention it was awesome? Lol Can't wait to go back!”

“Although one of my fewer places to get fast food (prices), Arby's in the Grove (Elm Grove) is great for take out food (drive thru) food and is always hot and fresh and wait time is minimal. Of course all fast food restaurants are pricey under the Biden regime. Arby's in the Grove has always been on my radar.”

I got wet muddy we stopped in for dinner didn't realize it was so close to closing they were very sweet I was wrapped in a blanket the waitress was very sweet I have enormous dietary restrictions she even separated the spinach out of the salad mix she checked on us was so sweet and caring. our food was gd she even sent me home with extra biscuits. I just wish I could have gotten her name cute blonde very sweet.”
