I really enjoy going here for the drinks.
Most of the time when I review a restaurant I like to go there a few times to see if the food is consistently good.
I've been to the Northeast location the steak was bad. The drinks there were really good though.
At the crofoot location not long ago I had some calamari and it was like cardboard, and we had the chicken with pickles that was overcooked as well.
I'll be back for drinks...... Great happy hour.“

“My best friend and I occasionally meet up at the Crowfoot Denny’s for breakfast. This was a similar occasion and as always the breakfast was excellent, that goes as well for the service. Karen was very attentive when it came to making sure we had enough coffee and getting our breakfast to the table in a timely manner. She was very polite, and professional. Denny’s at Crowfoor is a great place to meet up with friends for excellent food and great conversation.“

The variety on the menu is great as both my husband and I like different food and we can both get what we want without compromising. “Celebrated my son’s birthday last night and the service and food were great! We had onion rings, tacos, fish and chips, steak, salmon and crème brûlée and chocolate cake. For drinks we had ginger beer and peacock lager. Great all around! And great ambience“

“A bit of a strange bird restaurant. Starting with the joint sharing with Joey's. Down right weird. Then in streats, which I decided on because the Joey's fish tacos have cheese...fish and cheese = no.
So inside streats I started looking around. Such a strange concept. Promoting alcohol in such an infantile way. The signage on the wall, something you would only ever see in a novelty store. It lacked reason.
But on the good side. Mini poutine that came with the combo was good and the fish tacos, although a bit goopy, were delicious. Lots of fish, nice bite, good slaw. All round pretty good just with a strange decor and set up.“

“The view was beautiful and the pistou pasta was one of the most delicious pasta dishes we’ve ever had. The space is beautiful and modern with a lovely view from the floor to ceiling windows. There’s also a private dining room for parties.
High chairs and kids menu available. The kids menu is better than most with healthy options as well as the standard kid fare. The kid’s portion was generous too. We ordered the kid’s salmon with broccolini, mash potatoes and veggies. The pricing was good too.

“This place is great; a staple if I need a quick bite and I'm not feeling like going to the grocery store to make something myself. I'm a busy guy, so having the options in the area is always welcome, but I've also had the pleasure of getting to know the guys that work at the StrEats here in braeside firsthand and they've been nothing but friendly and accommodating to me from day one. Besides the food, they make returning to the location worth it.

I know most of the staff by name now, and they greet me with a smile whenever I walk in the door. They know what I normally order, and make suggestions when they think there's something I may enjoy. I normally get the pierogi poutine, and they've also given me an extra pierogi or two unprompted as thanks for being a regular customer, which is always a welcome treat.

Can't recommend this place enough, head over, grab a bite, and get to know the guys. They do a great job, and you won't regret it.“

“when i tell you we had the best experience this time at east side mario’s I MEAN IT!! we had our anniversary date here and were greeted with a phenomenal and kind host and absolutely spectacular server named Fatima!! she was a rockstar and made us laugh on top of that. highly recommend coming to visit!! AND every other tuesday they do BALLOON ANIMALS ARE YOU KIDDING IM OBSESSED!! they made it into a couple of love birds for us. thank you east side mario’s, see you in 2 weeks on tuesday!!“

“Absolutely love this place. We have been going here for years and have tried pretty much everything on the menu. Love the scotch broth soup, club Sandwich, Reuben, Monte cristo and salmon. Their bakery is amazing as well. We love their challah bread.“

“Denny's Calgary Barlow Trail Mohini was great making sure everything was good. At some Denny's I have had problems getting coffee refills but not today the coffee kept coming.“
