“Honestly, this place used to be close to my home on Edmonton Trail near downtown, but since they relocated to the Calgary Farmers’ Market, I make sure to visit whenever I’m seriously craving shawarma. The staff is incredibly friendly, the ambience is great, and the food quality is outstanding.
Special shoutout ❤️‍🔥 to the white gentleman working there😎he’s a good friend of mine and truly knows how to treat customers with respect and warmth.
Even though it’s a small spot, the location offers plenty of seating and a lively, fun atmosphere. I strongly recommend visiting this place, 100 out of 100 without a doubt!“

“I just had the best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. The meat was juicy and delicious with a savoury brightness that I’ve never before experienced - secret spice blend! The vegetables and pickles were crisp and crunchy with layers of flavour. The sandwich had the ideal amount of sauce to enrobe the ingredients without making the bread soggy - the toasting added crunchiness and enviable grill marks. The fries and garlic sauce were a great accompaniment! Hot crispy fries tossed with another secret blend were plentiful and piping hot! The garlic sauce was astounding - very garlicky and a wonderful consistency. Great value, superb food and very friendly service. I will gladly drive across town to eat here. I suggest you make the journey- it’s well worth it!“

My husband and I had dinner at Park by Sidewalk Citizen this evening, and left impressed with more than having had a beautiful meal. The staff at the restaurant went over and above to create a truly memorable experience!!

Every part of the evening was incredible! The wine was fresh and served at the perfect temperature, our meal was absolutely delicious - the falafel and lamb - well, there are no words!! Fabulous!!

We also loved the restaurant’s comfortable, relaxed vibe, filled with natural light and a garden like charm.

Chef Stefan, thank you! There is no denying your culinary gift!! You are an incredibly talented chef!! So Amazing!!!

“Great little shop for takeaway beef donairs. The donairs are nicely assembled and very tasty. Their toppings are fresh and the use of nice romaine lettuce gives the donair that extra bit of crunch. The service was very good, friendly and efficient. It’s primarily a takeaway place but there are a few stools and a couple of counters for eating in. There was lots of parking in the lot out front during our visit.“

“Ordered delivery. Uber special 50% off. Decided to read the reviews after i ordered and got a little worried. But it was very tasty. I agree with the portion size and could use more potatoes at least but the flavours make up for a lot of the portion size. Everything had its own unique flavor. The rice is very nice, the home made hot sauce is incredible and that balsamic based salad was very good. Had the beef donair and chicken shawarma but I'm not sure if i got chicken lol. The beef donair was tasty though. Damn near licked the container clean! 1 of the two pitas was a bit stale, still edible. Glad i have a second order in the fridge for later 😎“

“This place was kept very clean, the food station was kept tidy and organized, and the food took a reasonable amount of time to make. Maybe it's because we came at a late time in the day, but my beef shawarma was very dry and chewy, it was very difficult for me to swallow. But I nonetheless enjoyed my shawarma a lot, especially with the scorching hot level of spice. This is one of the few places where I actually get the spiciest level of spice and I think it's a little spicy lol.“

“We were a large group of ten for my bachelorette party on June 1st and we had an AMAZING dinner at Porch. I am so glad we chose to come here. The food was incredible, I had the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle and it was to die for, I am still thinking about it! The drinks were also so refreshing and unique! Our waiter, whose name I forget (sorry!) was attentive, fast and very helpful! The Manager came to our table and gave me and my Mom a complimentary glass of champagne too! 10/10!
