The kitchen & bathrooms are spotless, Health Department score was a 94 and the food was delicious. I am a Chef and ServSafe trainer & proctor and can judge restaurants little tough, today on a scale of 1-5 , score a 10+. Great job !!”

“Robert and Elsenna Howard celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary and it was the best because for dinner we went to KBC. The moment you enter the resteraunt you are greeted with a smile and warmest southern hospitality. Once we were seated within minutes of arriving (we had reservations), the experience broadens with Renea our waitress and her awesome meal recommendations and of course we were there for the quail and the duck. Renea loves her job, and trust me those are not words you just say to complete strangers. Renea for president!! Dessert was on her and hey that dessert was heaven. The drink and beer options were really great as well. My husband and I looked around as people came and left and the whole place worked like a well oiled machine. The way everyone asked us about the key to 32 years of marriage, and how others shared their longevity in their marriage made it clear we deserved this. For this moment we were with our people. The atmosphere was great, the food was awesome, fresh and hot!!! yes I said hot. The shrimp appetizers was the bomb.com. We are not from Alabama but are very familiar with the Dothan area, we are just trying to figure out why it took us so long to find our new best resteraunt spot in the world. Thanks to Renea, the hostess, all of the staff who made our night unforgettable until next year.. We are small town, hardworking folks, who love good food, people and this was what we needed to celebrate each other once again. Thanks KBC....”

“We had a party of 7 for my daughter's birthday at ~6pm on a Sunday and we were immediately seated. It was a great experience & our chef was the best at cracking some jokes while slinging those utensils. I've been to a couple of other places similar to this up near Chicago and Mikata fairs well comparatively speaking.
Of course for dinner and a show expect to pay a premium but it is nice for special occasions. I do think the place could use some ambiance updates & care of the aquarium too (Word to Mikata) plecostomus/aka Suckermouth catfish eat algae.”

“So we got to the restaurant with 4 people 2 of us black and 2 of us Hispanic cool they ask us to wait 15mins that was fine 25mins later 4 people came in all Caucasian they wait 5 mins now someone behind the curtain like the wizard of Oz tells them to come on to be seated and we are still waiting to be seated. Ethnicity and race shouldn't be a problem we make our money the same way and it's the same color as the white man/woman dollar”

“This is the coolest coffee shop and we always stop here on our way to Panama City from Atlanta. Lots of seating and a cool loft with art and gifts. Coffee, tea and wine options as well as some desserts and handhelds. We wish we liked the roast of their primary coffee a bit better but overall a great stop in a geography otherwise barren of good specialty coffee. Highly recommend.”

“Stopped here on our way back to Georgia from Florida on 10/18. Ordered two donuts and two iced coffees and it was delicious. Loved the brown sugar cinnamon oatmilk espresso shaker maple bacon donut. My son enjoyed the pink strawberry sprinkle donut. Can’t remember what my husband ordered but he enjoyed it too. Bathroom was also very clean. We will definitely stop here again. We usually stop at the Dunkin around the counter but decided to give this place a try and we didn’t regret it. The barista was very friendly as well.”

The portions were generous and very filling. Our sides were Lays Baked BBQ chips and baked seasoned fries. The fries were very well seasoned and tasted great. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean with plenty of seating. Our food came out fast too! Definitely a great spot for a tasty, quick meal — we’ll be back!”

I jumped up in a panic, but before I could even explain myself, Vaune appeared like a customer-service superhero. She just smiled and said, “Not a problem,” and seconds later brought me the fried nuggets I should’ve ordered.

When we finished eating, she literally intercepted me halfway to the trash can with a cheerful, “I’ll take that for you.”
And while I took my daughter to the play area, she spent time talking to my pregnant wife, who was having a rough day, and genuinely lifted her spirits.

If they can make sweetened tea, they can make unsweetened tea, appeared to just choose not to make it. “We stopped before a long drive heading back home, what we didn't know was a main water line was just repaired overnight and had only been fixed shortly before our arrival at 5 AM. We were a little concerned but staff did a great job and provided us with a good meal.
10/31/25 I couldn't access the Link you sent about the employees that worked the early morning shift but the date was Saturday the 18th in Dothan Alabama and we were there close to 5 AM. I hope this helps.”

“The sandwiches were tasty. We did an order through the app and it was ready ahead of schedule. They were out of grilled chicken but that was reflected in the app before ordering. They were also out of cucumbers but that no big deal. On our order we were supposed to get a bag of chips with one of the sandwiches, it wasn’t in there and I hadn’t checked the bag before leaving so that was a bummer.”

“Tonight we had our only bad experience ever at Marcos on East Main Street in Dothan, AL. Our pizza was not made correctly and we did not know until we got home. We have to drive 30 miles round trip to pickup pizza. One of our guests began to eat the wrong pizza we brought home. My husband called Marcos and explained the situation. We were told they are new employees and new manager. We were also told to bring the pizza back to let them see it. My husband took a picture of the pizza and it is obvious it was not the pizza we ordered. We expected to be told they would make it up to us on our next trip. We were not. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed since the store opened. Customer service should be better when they make a pizza incorrectly. Otherwise I would recommend this Marco’s.”

The BEST waffle house food tonight EVER!!!!
Not greasy at ALL! WONDERFUL taste! The staff was WONDERFUL as well. They were very professional and kind.

I'd give the nice guy that works there five stars. VERY nice staff and GREAT food. Do wish they told me they had a 20 % fee for carryout. I always leave a big tip regardless, mostly at Christmas! You should let customers know. I spent 87 dollars feeding four people. 😳😳😳😳”

Today however the chicken biscuit had the smallest piece of chicken I've ever seen on a biscuit like the biscuit was twice the size of the chicken. “Excellent food. Order when you walk in and pay. Food delivered to table. Roast turkey is unbelievable moist turkey breadt with only a hint of delicious mild seasoning. Mac and cheese is creamy and NOT a box mix. Homemade for sure! Barbecue sandwiches are also delicious! Saw another customer order a dinner salad and it was huge! Highly recommend this restaurant chain. Also ate in the one in Pelham, AL and it was equally delicious.”

“I love Papa John’s pizza but I noticed that the last time I was in picking up my pizza you couldn’t move forward with the new card readers without saying you don’t want to leave a tip or leave one. My question is why should I tip the people who are making salary when I use my gas and my time to pick it up. If I had it delivered yes I definitely should tip the driver! But if I go pick it up it shouldn’t ask me if I want to leave it tip.”

“We highly recommend, the Red Elephant Pizza & Grill. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Allan usually gets the elephant burger but tonight decided to try their pizza. He got half Santa Fe Chicken pizza and half meat lovers and both were absolutely delicious. The best he's ever had! Their menu is pretty extensive, with several different appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls and even some low carb dishes. Their servers are very attentive and work with you on getting your meal just the way you like it. Great atmosphere, too. Our favorite server is Travis. He's the absolute best!”

“It's been a long time since I ate at Cici's Pizza. I was surprised and pleased when they offered to make a custom mushroom pizza at no additional charge. I was disappointed to see that they now use iceberg lettuce instead of healthier and more flavorful green leaf lettuce. There seems to be something for everyone, including chicken wings. The desserts were tasty. My only negative comment is that the pizza crusts seemed a bit under baked and chewy-soft. Could have been because of the lunch hour rush. All in all, just an okay place to eat.”

First of this is a buffet and my assumption was that it was Asia or Oriental food. Boy was I mistaken! The buffet includes a fabulous sushi bar, a section for southern favorites, desserts, a salad bar, fried foods of all sorts, several choices of fish , seafood, and chicken. There were even some pasta dishes.
This was our second time here and we will definitely be back anytime we are traveling through Dothan.”

“Checkers dosnt get enough credit. From my experiences they are always friendly, always insures the speed of service, and quality of order. Food is always hot and fresh. The absolute best thing on the menu is the fry breaded mozzerella sticks. Man are they good. But the chicken bacon mother cruncher is also a favorite.”
