“This is the sushi lunch special. 4 pieces of nigiri with choice of California roll or spicy tuna roll. (I added crab salad to the spicy tuna roll. ) Comes with miso soup and salad. I thought the salad would be a salad made from lettuce carrots cucumber and ginger dressing. Instead I received the cucumber salad marinated in I believe rice vinegar and sesame oil topped with sesame seeds. Had I known I would have asked for something different being that I’m allergic to sesame. The sushi roll was good. I enjoyed the nigiri except for the krab stick. I would order again but with substitutions if allowed.
This is the only actual sushi lunch special, the other two menu options for “sushi” are strictly sashimi or sashimi and nigiri.”

“This restaurant has gone down hill. It’s so scruffy, shabby and everything is worn out. Your feet stick to the floors in the bathroom. The carpet is dirty. The food has used to be delicious but the last two times the food is unrecognizable from a few months ago. Dry fish, dry coleslaw, fish and chips fry. Baked potato hard. It’s such a shame”

I’ve loved it every time and have no complaints at all (other than maybe preference with how they do shrimp, not my favorite). My only complaint on my last visit the young lady behind the counter was friendly but I was taken aback by the tee shirt she was wearing. It had a chimpanzee on the front and in bold lettering it read I don’t give a - - - k. I am not a prude but I definitely left that day with much less respect for the management and or owner. They were also out of cucumbers but that no big deal. On our order we were supposed to get a bag of chips with one of the sandwiches, it wasn’t in there and I hadn’t checked the bag before leaving so that was a bummer.”

“Burger patties are very flat, so don't be looking for a quarter pounder. If you like a lot of meat, get a double or triple. Chicken sandwich is good. Get tots or onion rings unless you like shoestring fries. LOVE the sauce assortment (especially the jalapeño!). Flat patties means the food is out fast & hot, but cools quickly. My bunch would go again. Prices were reasonable.”

“Tonight we had our only bad experience ever at Marcos on East Main Street in Dothan, AL. Our pizza was not made correctly and we did not know until we got home. We have to drive 30 miles round trip to pickup pizza. One of our guests began to eat the wrong pizza we brought home. My husband called Marcos and explained the situation. We were told they are new employees and new manager. We were also told to bring the pizza back to let them see it. My husband took a picture of the pizza and it is obvious it was not the pizza we ordered. We expected to be told they would make it up to us on our next trip. We were not. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed since the store opened. Customer service should be better when they make a pizza incorrectly. Otherwise I would recommend this Marco’s.”

“This location is definitely run right and tight. I've been here several times and this staff has always made picture perfect subs. I never tip when I have to stand in line to place my order but watching them take such pride in every sub they make, makes me hit the tip button because these guys deserve it. This young lady gave the impression that was the last place she wanted to be and didn’t have a problem letting the customers know this. Thankfully the other server was just the opposite. She was very pleasant. Apologized more than once for her coworker. We were a group of 10. She cleaned off two tables and a section of the bar. None of these were in her section. They belonged to the personality of a rock server. Over the course the hour and a half we were there the nice pleasant lady was all over the place all the while personally of a rock would just stand around with her nose in her phone, looking up only to roll her eyes at what was going on around her. The one time we watched her actually do some work, she did not bother to wash her hands went from being on phone, whipped her nose with her hand and immediately started handling/ preparing the food. The nice pleasant lady’s name is Shasta. Lots of cudos to her. She did an awesome job. Kenna the one with the personality of a rock and not good hygiene for being around food.”

“We highly recommend, the Red Elephant Pizza & Grill. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Allan usually gets the elephant burger but tonight decided to try their pizza. He got half Santa Fe Chicken pizza and half meat lovers and both were absolutely delicious. The best he's ever had! Their menu is pretty extensive, with several different appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls and even some low carb dishes. Their servers are very attentive and work with you on getting your meal just the way you like it. Great atmosphere, too. Our favorite server is Travis. He's the absolute best!”

“Great little restaurant in Dothan, AL. They have The absolute Best Onion rings I have ever eaten. They were thinly sliced, expertly coated, seasoned, and fried. I would drive two hours just for the onion rings, as they are that good. I had the black and blue burger which was excellent as well. Someone else at the table got a bacon burger with home-cut fries, that were piping hot and just outstanding.
We had the sweetest server as well. 10/10, you cannot go wrong with a name like Fatback's!”

“I love Papa John’s pizza but I noticed that the last time I was in picking up my pizza you couldn’t move forward with the new card readers without saying you don’t want to leave a tip or leave one. My question is why should I tip the people who are making salary when I use my gas and my time to pick it up. If I had it delivered yes I definitely should tip the driver! But if I go pick it up it shouldn’t ask me if I want to leave it tip.”
