“This restaurant has gone down hill. It’s so scruffy, shabby and everything is worn out. Your feet stick to the floors in the bathroom. The carpet is dirty. The food has used to be delicious but the last two times the food is unrecognizable from a few months ago. Dry fish, dry coleslaw, fish and chips fry. Baked potato hard. It’s such a shame”

“We had a party of 7 for my daughter's birthday at ~6pm on a Sunday and we were immediately seated. It was a great experience & our chef was the best at cracking some jokes while slinging those utensils. I've been to a couple of other places similar to this up near Chicago and Mikata fairs well comparatively speaking.
Of course for dinner and a show expect to pay a premium but it is nice for special occasions. I do think the place could use some ambiance updates & care of the aquarium too (Word to Mikata) plecostomus/aka Suckermouth catfish eat algae.”

“This is the coolest coffee shop and we always stop here on our way to Panama City from Atlanta. Lots of seating and a cool loft with art and gifts. Coffee, tea and wine options as well as some desserts and handhelds. We wish we liked the roast of their primary coffee a bit better but overall a great stop in a geography otherwise barren of good specialty coffee. Highly recommend.”

I’ve loved it every time and have no complaints at all (other than maybe preference with how they do shrimp, not my favorite). We’ve eaten here multiple times a month for about 4 months now, and I’ve yet to experience anything negative. Granted, I haven’t tried any of the curry or shrimp. My boyfriend doesn’t love the way they do their shrimp, but says the sushi is really good.”

I used to think Publix chocolate cakes were good until i bought a piece of this cake. It was the most rich, moist, and decadent cake. It was perfect. This piece of cake didn't stand a chance. I 100% recommend him for any of your cake needs.”

“Stopped here on our way back to Georgia from Florida on 10/18. Ordered two donuts and two iced coffees and it was delicious. Loved the brown sugar cinnamon oatmilk espresso shaker maple bacon donut. My son enjoyed the pink strawberry sprinkle donut. Can’t remember what my husband ordered but he enjoyed it too. Bathroom was also very clean. We will definitely stop here again. We usually stop at the Dunkin around the counter but decided to give this place a try and we didn’t regret it. The barista was very friendly as well.”

The first time I went I didn't know they were CASH ONLY and after I got my dozen donuts and didn't have cash, the owner told me just bring me the money tomorrow...and I did.
They open at 4:30 and you have to get there early because they usually run out.

“It's is a day old bakery. If you have no aversion to this, which I don't. There is a great opportunity to stock up on bakery items for a small fraction of what you would pay at the grocery. Freeze them until you need them. I have vacuum sealed a couple loaves of bread instead of freezing and it's worked pretty good for arresting the aging process”

I never tip when I have to stand in line to place my order but watching them take such pride in every sub they make, makes me hit the tip button because these guys deserve it. “The sandwiches were tasty. We did an order through the app and it was ready ahead of schedule. They were out of grilled chicken but that was reflected in the app before ordering. They were also out of cucumbers but that no big deal. On our order we were supposed to get a bag of chips with one of the sandwiches, it wasn’t in there and I hadn’t checked the bag before leaving so that was a bummer.”

“Tonight we had our only bad experience ever at Marcos on East Main Street in Dothan, AL. Our pizza was not made correctly and we did not know until we got home. We have to drive 30 miles round trip to pickup pizza. One of our guests began to eat the wrong pizza we brought home. My husband called Marcos and explained the situation. We were told they are new employees and new manager. We were also told to bring the pizza back to let them see it. My husband took a picture of the pizza and it is obvious it was not the pizza we ordered. We expected to be told they would make it up to us on our next trip. We were not. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed since the store opened. Customer service should be better when they make a pizza incorrectly. Otherwise I would recommend this Marco’s.”

“The only time the place can disappoint is when they’re out of something you’re craving. Everything I have had from here is delicious. There were no petit fours out front, but the nice ladies offered to grab some from the back for me. The cookie assortment I tried was delicious. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle gingerbread cookie was probably the best.”

“We stopped before a long drive heading back home, what we didn't know was a main water line was just repaired overnight and had only been fixed shortly before our arrival at 5 AM. We were a little concerned but staff did a great job and provided us with a good meal.

“I love Papa John’s pizza but I noticed that the last time I was in picking up my pizza you couldn’t move forward with the new card readers without saying you don’t want to leave a tip or leave one. My question is why should I tip the people who are making salary when I use my gas and my time to pick it up. If I had it delivered yes I definitely should tip the driver! But if I go pick it up it shouldn’t ask me if I want to leave it tip.”

“We highly recommend, the Red Elephant Pizza & Grill. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Allan usually gets the elephant burger but tonight decided to try their pizza. He got half Santa Fe Chicken pizza and half meat lovers and both were absolutely delicious. The best he's ever had! Their menu is pretty extensive, with several different appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls and even some low carb dishes. Their servers are very attentive and work with you on getting your meal just the way you like it. Great atmosphere, too. Our favorite server is Travis. He's the absolute best!”

“Nice restaurant . Easy access from highway. Restrooms need an update but were clean and well stocked.

First of this is a buffet and my assumption was that it was Asia or Oriental food. Boy was I mistaken! The buffet includes a fabulous sushi bar, a section for southern favorites, desserts, a salad bar, fried foods of all sorts, several choices of fish , seafood, and chicken. There were even some pasta dishes.
This was our second time here and we will definitely be back anytime we are traveling through Dothan.”
