“my husband brought home some tap n tikka today. we live way up north, so the food took quite a trip. i got the malai goat and he got the goat bhuna masala. we both really enjoyed our main courses. we enjoyed the jeera rice and the garlic naan. my side of raita was pretty runny, runnier than I have ever had it before. the tandoori aloo parantha was also ok, but I have had it better at other places. so it was 50/50 good/not as good as we have had before. might try it again, but for the steep price, I was expecting something a bit more on point.”

I have great service from a number of servers which include Cade (very personable, makes you feel like you are the only person in the room), Mike (funny), Frank (funny, very knowledgeable of the membership and got me known about the member dinners!) and Greg (funny). I would dine with them all again and have. The wine bar is a fun atmosphere and you get to meet others while you are there. Ciera is new. I love the trivia she brings, knowledgeable of the wines and just very sweet. Stephanie has been there for years, knows her wines and has great suggestions. Greg is one of the managers and also works at the wine bar. He is funny, knows his wines and knows what I like and would not. Coopers Hawk is my go to for all occasions.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic experience at Buck & Rider in Gilbert’s Epicenter! We grabbed seats at the bar for happy hour and were blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The spicy salmon roll was super fresh—crispy cucumber, ripe avocado, and flavorful salmon. The Temaki tuna tartare was build-your-own style and so fun—and delicious! We also shared the Picnic Chicken snack with hot sauce and ranch, and the Voodoo Fried Rice was packed with shrimp, chicken, and perfectly cooked veggies. Every dish hit the mark and the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. Definitely recommend for a relaxed but upscale experience in Gilbert!”

Temari's is not a large space, but let's call it a personable dining experience. 😉
To your left, you will encounter the bar for saki, Sapporo & much more. Next, a sushi bar with 6/7 seats, then 5/6 open 4 tops. Hopefully, you will have Kei the friendly, efficient & thoughtful server. Kei does amazing work, describing the different plates, ingredients, and sauce as she sets them down. So we started with the primo roll. This roll is fricken full of tastful orgasmic delights. 🤣 If you are on the fence, get this. You will glide thru life after eating it. We moved onto the smoked salmon pepper roll, ahi tuna, and ended with the vegetable & shrimp tempura, side car'd with a sweet and fantastic tasting tempura sauce. The food has some of the best in the valley, who would have thought being so far from the sea. However, Temari has solved that problem with fresh daily deliveries. And for the finale, Kei brought out a cinnamon pastry, decorated with 1 candle & 3 edible flowers. It was delicious. Again, this place is 100% legit with top-notch service!”

Downfall, it took a significant amount of time just to place an order for the drinks and then to receive the drinks. Received a glass of water but with the heat - the temperature of the water changed quickly. The server was kind enough to brink be a bigger glass with more ice and water. It was at least 100 outside - the misters were not turned on. That coupled with the time it took for me to receive the mimosa flights and the temperature of the mimosas- I will not be a return customer. **Update - when I arrived there were only 4 other patrons. And my food and drink order still took quite a long time. I had to ask for water glass. Then ask for glass with ice water. The bartender must be a novice - he had to keep looking at something while putting together the mimosa flight - the champagne should have been chilled and was not! Soo many issues now that I am thinking more on my encounter.”

My daughter took me for brunch she likes the place, I wanted to go to a diner, she chose there - I am not a fan. Presentation of the food was nice, but i like my food warm/hot that plate felt like it was sitting there before i was served.”

Despite managing a full section, he never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Quite the opposite—he took the time to make us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Chase was not only attentive but also clearly knowledgeable about the menu and options. He carried himself with a confidence that showed he takes pride in his work and truly cares about each guest’s experience. Watching him interact with other tables, it was obvious we weren’t the only ones who appreciated his excellent service—everyone seemed to enjoy his energy. As for the food: no complaints whatsoever. He is attentive to dietary restrictions, makes rolls exactly to your specifications and he will ask questions instead of assuming anything with your order. As a Celiac who loves to eat all kinds of food, this has made all the difference in making me feel comfortable enough to eat outside of my kitchen and actually enjoy myself at a meal without the anxiety of eating something that will make me sick.
I have traveled to Japan and eaten every kind of sushi out there but to find a place with authentic flavors and fresh, clean tasting fish out here in Arizona is almost unheard of! You have to try Sushiya if you enjoy Japanese food. Their baked mussels are to die for (ask them for GF options). The lunch specials are super tasty and their specialty rolls are fun and different while still keeping true Japanese flavor/quality. I can't get enough of this place.”

“4/14/2024 Just had an amazing experience with our large group, celebrating my niece's graduation from nursing school. We rented the Heritage Room and it exceeded my expectations. Our server, Nikki (not sure how she spells it! I'm also a Niki and I know that there are 300 diff ways to spell it haha!) was outstanding. So unbelievably helpful, attentive and kind. “We have been going to Texas Roadhouse next store for years. But for a long while we had to send it back, almost every visit. Usually raw and bland. So finally we had enough, and tried Applebee's.
We tried the back menu 2 meal specials. I was surprised. Been going only here now for the last few months. For over 1/3 less price.
1. Sirloin flavor and texture way better.
2. The side salad twice as big.
3. 2 sides not one. They all taste better as well.
4. Bonus. Their salmon has always been awesome. Better than Pita Jungle at the movie theater. And cheaper too.
Only thing Texas roadhouse had that I miss was the prime rib and rolls. But my wallet seems very happy now. I always leave this Applebee's feeling satisfied. Look on the back of the menu.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a couple days and after trying the local restaurants near this hotel we decided to stay in and try out Brocks. Was very quiet and slow, my husband and bartender, Kody, were able to watch the game and have a great conversation while I enjoyed my very well made Cosmopolitan. We ended up staying for a couple rounds because my husband had such a great time talking sports with Kody and ordering multiple old fashions. They were out of a couple things on the menu but he gave us great recommendations and we ended up having a great dinner. Not sure if Kody does this with everyone or because there was no one else there, HaHa :), but he really went out of his way to make sure we had a great dinner and time. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and crossing our fingers Kody is working that night!”

“Recently I had the pleasure of tasting malasadas (Hawaiian donuts) made by Mauisadas in Gilbert. When I mean made, I should say homemade and baked by the owners, themselves in their home. They even bring them your car at pick up. Jenn and Ray are the nicest couple. While Jenn being an ER nurse and Ray working at SRP they vacationed in Maui. After returning to Arizona, they had fond memories of the malasadas they had eaten. (Read more on https://www.mauisadas.com) They couldn't locate any locally and decided to bake their own! My favorite fillings for these pillowy, soft donuts are raspberry, blueberry creme and mango! It was easy to place my order. When placed online, you can select from many items. Be it malasadas, their unique cookies or their one of their banana bread varieties. With the Malasadas you are given a choice of filling and dustings. (Cinnamon sugar dusting, cinnamon dusting or plain.) Pick your desired pick up day and time then pay. On the day (Friday or Saturday) and time of your scheduled order, just text them when you drive up and your fresh goodies will be brought right to your vehicle. There are cute signs that mark where to park while you wait. In this local business, it shows the love that is being put into everything they do! A five star experience from beginning to end!!”

“I have been a wine member here for years. Love the wine tastings and always enjoy going in for the wine of the month. There is flexibility to change the tastings for a glass. I am hard of hearing with hearing aids but I can have conversations without struggling whether I am in the dining room or bar. I have great service from a number of servers which include Cade (very personable, makes you feel like you are the only person in the room), Mike (funny), Frank (funny, very knowledgeable of the membership and got me known about the member dinners!) and Greg (funny). I would dine with them all again and have. The wine bar is a fun atmosphere and you get to meet others while you are there. Ciera is new. I love the trivia she brings, knowledgeable of the wines and just very sweet. Stephanie has been there for years, knows her wines and has great suggestions. Greg is one of the managers and also works at the wine bar. He is funny, knows his wines and knows what I like and would not. Coopers Hawk is my go to for all occasions.”

We were warmly greeted by Bella, who took time to offer several excellent recommendations when we said it was our first time there and loved trying new things. We ordered the kibbeh, cheese samosas, gyros wrap (+fries and fountain drink), chicken shawarma wrap (Arabic style with no lettuce, as she suggested), and a Vimto soda she recommended. All of it was delicious. The portion sizes and service were both great, and the restaurant was clean and inviting with a very warm feel. The spicy salmon roll was super fresh—crispy cucumber, ripe avocado, and flavorful salmon. The Temaki tuna tartare was build-your-own style and so fun—and delicious! We also shared the Picnic Chicken snack with hot sauce and ranch, and the Voodoo Fried Rice was packed with shrimp, chicken, and perfectly cooked veggies. Every dish hit the mark and the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. Definitely recommend for a relaxed but upscale experience in Gilbert!”
