“Tamosan is one of my favorite spots in the PV/Scottsdale area! My friend and I come in frequently to study and hang out in their comfy atmosphere. Favorite drinks are an iced Bloobies matcha, banana matcha (limited time) or an iced latte with cinnamon and honey! The owner is super sweet and hands-on, plus I love that it’s locally owned and supported. Tamosan rocks!! <3“

“This place blew me away. The coffee was great and the service was exceptional. They must be doing something right because the place was packed on a Saturday morning with lots of happy customers. You can see they’ve clearly built a culture around the cafe. Their focus on clean food and healthy living is refreshing and we need more businesses like them taking holistic well-being as seriously as they are. A new staple for me when I’m in town. “Absolutely LOVE this neighborhood hangout ... and it's not even IN my neighborhood! Locally brewed beers (even nonalcoholic rootbeer) on tap; Mythic Goat's amazing coffees; a fabulous deli; kitchen producing paninis, fresh-baked croissants, and killer cheese/salume boards ... I could go on!! They have Trivia nights, the locals do Game Nights (Mexican Train Dominoes are the current obsession); there are wine tastings ... I DRIVE to come here several times a week.“

“I love this coffe place, the ambient is unique! My only suggestion is to add some healthy balanced dishes to the menu...I will not have somewhere else for food. I enjoyed their orange juice and coffee.
A note about customers: I noticed a few dog owners with their dogs coming in. It is an outdoor setting, but still watch out for dog allergies if you have them acute. I cannot tolerate dogs inside the house, but outside I am ok.“

“This cafe is a great local spot to visit if you are ever in Arizona. The aesthetic of the place feels very comfy and gives local vibes. The friendly staff is a plus as the service was wonderful. This place is great to meet up with friends, relax, or even have a quick business meeting. The coffee is high quality and tastes amazing. The coffee taste is slightly different and tastes a bit sweeter than other comparable coffee places. They even have different types of designs that go on top of the coffee. This place also provides healthy organic options for drinks as well which is great for health conscious individuals. Besides the drinks, you have the choice to get some local bakery items along with your coffee as well. I personally did not try the baked goods but heard they were great from other people. I would say the average amount spent here is between $5-15 per person depending on if you get a snack. The cafe is in a small town so you could also grab a coffee and a snack then go shop or check out other local stores. The entrance was a little confusing because it was in the back of the store. Bright Side Cafe is inside of The Mercantile which is a little boutique shop. The only entrance was towards the back if you wanted to be right where the coffee shop was. If not, you would have to walk through the entire store to get to the cafe without any signs showing you where to go. On their Google listing, they should have the parking situation and directions on how to directly get to the cafe. This would make it a lot easier for people to find if they just park in the right spot instead of walking through the whole store.“

“I've been to many coffee shops in town and this place has the best coffee/lattes/matcha in town.. it's super smooth, easy on the stomach and the coffee beans packs a punch if ur needing to get stuff done!! If you're looking for finest lattes in the land this is your place!“

“I used to overlook this place because it's smack in the middle of an apartment complex, but I was so very wrong. It's incredible. The extensive food AND drink menu is really impressive. Had my first flavored matcha (big win for the banana creme matcha) and a couple of food items and everything was incredible.“

“Lunch at Beginner’s Luck in Old Town Scottsdale was amazing. The vibe is fun and laid back, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a midday meal while exploring the area.

The food was outstanding and was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was delicious and well portioned, and it easily stands out from typical lunch spots in the area.

If you’re in Old Town Scottsdale and looking for a great lunch, Beginner’s Luck is a must stop. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“❤️❤️Absolutely loved this place! The berry cobbler matcha is unreal — so unique, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Their latte was also amazing. The ambiance is super cute, trendy, and cozy, with tons of seating, which makes it perfect for hanging out or working.

I came yesterday at 5 mins after 3and didn’t realize they had just recently changed their hours. Even though they had already shut down their machines, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I told the girl I had driven 40 minutes to come and just wanted to snap a few photos to show much sister how cute it was inside — and they invited me in anyway and even offered to make me a cold brew. That kindness alone made my whole day and instantly made me want to come back. (Next weekend so my husband can drive me again lol)

The quality, uniqueness, and genuine hospitality here are unmatched. Thank you so much for making my day — I can’t wait to come back for my cobbler matcha again! 🫐🍓🍵“

“Hot coffee was average at 3 PM on a Sunday. I suspect it was sitting in the pot too long - not many people want hot coffee on a warm day. The gelato looked good, but we had just finished a big lunch and had no room. Service was good. Atmosphere was a good coffee shop.“

“Yesterday I saw the words Stemistry on this cute little store front with a chalkboard marquee with varieties of coffee and pick a bouquet. What? My 2 favorite things in one shop? Ohhhhhhh…When I walked in, I was in heaven. Flowers, plants, gift shop, the aroma of coffee and most important a smiling, friendly welcoming staff member named Lauren, that welcomed me in. She told me about Stemistry and I asked a lot of questions which led to her and I talking about flowers 🌺 🌿🌸and coffee☕️ of course, which led to ideas in my head. I also saw a Lavender Latte on the menu which I’ve always wanted to try. I must say, it was amazing!!! In conclusion, please stop by and support this amazing, unique little place. It will bring a smile to your face and leave happy.“
