“This place is so good. I got the southwest skillet and one protein pancake. The skillet was full of flavor and spicy (as it should be) and the pancake was crunchy and sweet but balanced with the granola and blueberries. My only critique is that the pancake was a little underdone in the middle but too good not to eat haha. They even offered to make me a new one. So kind. The service was great here too! I’ll definitely be back“

The rooted grounds coffee company, however, gave us a cold danish and did not even call us when our coffee was ready. Very rude lady. She does not deserve the best unlike Amir of course.“

“Damn good donuts! Took my boyfriend here yesterday as he loves his donuts and is picky about them and I am glad that they provide a choice between cake donuts (my favorite) and raised yeast ring donuts which are his favorite (he's from the Midwest and his favorite donut parlor there is daylight donuts which are mostly the raised yeast ring types) the case is divided between cake donuts and raised yeast ring/specials (there's definitely a reason why they are individually-priced as you can tell that they require a special level of attention) like *giant-size-of-a-dinner-plate apple fritters and bars like long Johns and their infamous maple bacon bars.. bf's favorite so far (he hasn't tried the other two of our half dozen yet) we had the maple bacon bar for breakfast this morning 😆 they also have interesting-looking drinks like dirty sodas and dirty hot chocolate which would be perfect for the colder weather. They have the art of the donut down to a science here!! Will definitely be back!“

“I’m basing this review not only on today, but also the other times I’ve been here. My main review other than today will be below today’s review:

My waitress today was Gloria. She was very on spot with her service, very kind and very professional! I enjoyed interacting with her today. She made my day go better. Too bad she’s in her mid-twenties. Otherwise I would have asked her out on a date or asked her for her phone number.

The food was great with the exception that this is the second time that I’ve gone here and the eggs were a little undercooked, but that problem was resolved this time. Also, this is the first or second time my hot chocolate could’ve been more chocolate and less water.

The atmosphere was fairly welcoming. Of course I can’t control the music, but let’s say I would prefer something else. The restaurant was nice and clean today.

My main concern coming here in the past was sometimes the food was okay, sometimes the waiter/waitress could have been faster and, if I remember right, sometimes the music would be too loud. Other than that, this restaurant has been fairly consistent on doing a good job. 👍“
