“We ordered our wedding cake with Fortuna and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Working with Luisa was easy and she made sure to help us stay within our budget. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. Luisa also personally delivered the cake for a small price all the way to Pitt Meadows so that she could make sure it arrived safely. The guests loved the cake as well! Highly recommend Fortuna for your wedding cake!!!“

“This place is always very busy, and it's well justified. If you can forgive the lack of parking spaces, it is worth any walk in the rain. Today, my friend and I had their salted caramel cake and it was basically like eating a fluffly, creamy, absolutely decadent cloud. It was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.“

“My family loves this place. We have been stopping by for years. The previous owners saw my son grow from birth to almost 5 now and always gave him a little snack size bun when we pass by. It's his favorite spot. I do have to mention for the new owners, we purchased a box today and there it little to no icing on the buns. Please put a generous layer of icing like the previous owners. “recently i purchased banana loaf. whole wheat cranberry muffins/ cheese scones/ raisin scones and shortbread cookies which are bought every year all were excellent. however, the shortbread were lacking---no butter perhaps? they had a strong taste of the inside of the oven---i had several and composted the rest/ please do not post as everything else was perfect and i shall continue to shop here. with respect“

“I often pop by here for lunch as it's no doubt, one of the best banh mi deals in town. Around the $9 mark, you get an absolutely stuffed banh mi.
Service was standard, nothing outstanding. Be mindful of lunch hours on weekdays as they get quite a few highschoolers pop in.
I usually grab and go as it's not really a place you would dine in with it's limited seating.
Lemongrass chicken and house special are always my go to.“

“Really delicious cookies and friendly staff. For 6 cookies, it was $12, a bit pricey but they are very good. I also bought a peach & raspberry Danish, they offered to warm it up and it was also delicious. I spent a total of $21.09 for 2 items.“

“Their pastries, bread and cakes are always fantastic and delicious, especially roll cakes and cube mochi breads. It's one of my favorite bakeries and dessert spots. Luckily, I didn’t get the rude female employee who everyone talks about in their reviews every time I was there.“

“Small victory never disappoints. The store smells just as delicious as the drinks taste. I usually get a coffee, but today I decided to get a matcha, and I definitely will get it again. The matcha is bright green and tastes heavenly. The coffee is also good, and you can see the baristas making the fresh espresso in front of you. The pastries look amazing, even though I have not tried them yet. If you haven't gone, there is lots to do in the area, as it is right in the middle of Brentwood Mall.

If you are looking to study or do work here, I do not recommend it, but it is a good cafe to sit for a drink and chat.“

The donuts were the highlight for me — the outside had a pleasantly chewy texture, and the cream seemed to be made with good-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the tiramisu flavor wasn't really my cup of tea, although the Earl Grey flavor had a wonderful taste.“

“The premium Ube cake is the way to go! It deserves a spot being one of the wonders of the world. It is light, fluffy, airy, and full of flavour. It’s like biting into a cloud of bliss! Also tried the Ube chiffon cake but it was mainly a buttercream tasting cake which is not as good as the premium Ube cake but still good. The cakes are well decorated and a beautiful purple color. Would buy again :)“

“I never give review but i went to cobs market crossing yesterday there were 2 ladies, Urmi nd Shreya both were very nice, they both helped me choose my first cape seed loaf, I really liked it, had it in breakfast today. “Amazing price on seconds and day-old bagels. Other reviews here don't seem to realize this is a industrial site, factory outlet. They sell the stuff that might not meet wholesale quality at massive bargain. So yeah they are sometimes not cut all the way through and yeah if you're taking pictures outside a factory people are going to assume you're some kind of city/work safe inspector and want to help you find what you need.

They also have other interesting bread-related products but I come here for the bagels. Please don't tell your friends about PBF.“

My mother had pre-ordered a cake and paid in full, but forgot her membership card for the discount. I called and asked Jenifer if we could process a refund for the discount. She initially offered a store credit for the difference, but when I picked up the cake, she told me she had checked with her manager, and they could refund the difference back to the original card.

I am extremely grateful for her proactive and helpful attitude. My wedding cake in 2013 was also ordered here, and the quality and taste remain consistently excellent. Although the prices are getting higher, the excellent service quality maximizes customer retention.“
