“Went for Friday lunch. Very nice cafe.
Food was tasty and nicely presented. Forgot to take a photo. Had a yuzu smoothie and it was tasty. They use a puree to make their smoothies.
Lots of seating and space.
Parking behind and underneath and it is busy but people going in and out a lot.“

“I had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment I walked in, the owner welcomed me with such a big smile and warm energy that it instantly made me feel comfortable and happy. You can truly feel how much care and kindness he puts into his restaurant and his customers.

I ordered the chicken and lentil soup, and it was absolutely amazing 10/10! It was fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the best soups I have had. You can tell the food is made with love and attention.

“I come here to work quite often. While it can get busy during peak hours, it's usually laid-back with a relaxed, business-casual atmosphere that's perfect for coffee dates, catching up with friends, or getting some work done.

I usually order a coffee or tea, and I appreciate that they have a good selection of both coffee and non-coffee drinks. Their iced tea is excellent, and the smoothies are also very good. They offer handmade sandwiches and desserts, both of which I recommend. My personal favorites are the tiramisu and the chicken brie sandwich.

The overall vibe is welcoming and comfortable, which is why I find myself coming back regularly to write, work, and meet with people. The staff are always friendly, the service is consistently great, and the bathroom is always clean.

Overall, I highly recommend this café for its great atmosphere, tasty food and drinks, and reliable service.

The coffee was mediocre. Not sure what's happened over the years but artigiano is not what it used to be in terms of coffee taste. Maybe they changed beans? Who knows.

Absolutely loved the cranberry oatmeal cookie though!

“This place is always very busy, and it's well justified. If you can forgive the lack of parking spaces, it is worth any walk in the rain. Today, my friend and I had their salted caramel cake and it was basically like eating a fluffly, creamy, absolutely decadent cloud. It was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.“

“I really like a cafe that feels family owned, and I really appreciate the care you receive from a business like this. I was greeted so warmly, the woman running the shop made me a bubble waffle with whipped cream and a honey lemon tea, and I enjoyed both immensely. I sat at a little table and peacefully studied for an hour, and I enjoyed the ambiance. It's not a modern, Western interior. It's the same sort of vibe you would get at Happy Day Cafe. Great service and yummy food!

“Been going here for a few years now. Loved the old turkey cranberry pabnuni but new one does not have Brie anymore. Soup was lukewarm but tasty. Good baked goods. We have had a few of the sandwiches and like them all. Nice in warm weather to sit outside.“

“I'm not really a fan of JJbean coffee as I consider it a little sour, regardless I think that's kind of the coffee taste in Vancouver so for most people I'm sure it's ok. All good cuz I was here for savoury. Ohhh the butternut squash soup hit that spot so good. Rich, squashy, also hint of sweetness from green apple. Smooth and wonderful. Served with skyflakes crackers (which I've been craving).

The pineapple coconut loaf looked divine. I will have to get it next time.

Sorry not sorry… this cafe is a hidden gem I wanted to gatekeep for so long but the dalgona coffee is life changing I thought I didn’t like coffee but I think i just didn’t have it done right. “The line up can be long at peak times, even extending beyond the door of the cafeteria. Food offerings are very reasonably priced and affordable. Food is not bad. Staff are helpful, but not out of their way friendly. Very crowded during lunch with no tables left, however, there is seating outdoors. Food is prepared within 5-15 minutes, depending on item and time. Disposable wooden cutlery is available, self-serve. There is a coffee machine, but it is sometimes out of service.

“This ia loacted in the 3000 level of the Academic Quadrangle in SFU. There are separate Sandwich, Sushi, Soup, Stir fry, Pizza, breakfast and tea with delis counters which serve different food menu. Some of those have daily special items. They have a good selection from many world wide cusines. A subway is also located inside cafe. And there is a large area of chairs and tables that contains different levels of comfort. It is open for breakfast and lunch.

“No idea why the average here is so low, this is a top tier campus coffee place. I love love love their shaken iced teas, literally scrumptious with different syrup flavours so you can switch it up, and full of the caffeine a full time student needs. All other drinks are delicious too. I get their samosas a lot and they're great too, have tried some of the desserts too. The service can be a bit slow sometimes but it's also usually insanely busy as it's a campus hotspot, so like what do you want them to do?? I am already looking forward to my first Blenz visit this September!“

We were staying at the hotel nesrby and even though we were a little cautious about going because of the middling reviews it is just a few metres away in a complex of business from the hotel so we decided to give it a try and glad that we did

Breakfast sandwich special was $9 before tax for sandwich and coffee or tea. We were told by hotel that if you show your room key you get this special price. I don’t know how much we would have paid without the room key but I suspect it might be the same price or something close to it

You get a couple of choices for the special. We tried the bagel sandwich (choice today of plain or everything bagel) which has a good amount of scrambled egg, bacon and cheese inside. One of us had same sandwich with multi grain toast. Food and drinks ready very quickly.

The sandwiches hit the spot. Nothing fancy. Just well prepared and tasty.

The coffee that came with the sandwiches is on the mild side. If you like strong coffee you may be dissatisfied but one of our party thought the coffee was very good. (They also have speciality coffees you can order)

Pleasantly surprised when the credit card terminal had no tip option which is the fair thing because you place your order at counter and then you come up to get your food.

Would definitely go again. Ate in. Lots of space. Restaurant was clean. Service was efficient. Music was a good low volume. You could hear music but could still have a conversation
