5 Best Pubs near Burnaby

“Top tier semi hidden bar! It's a bit of a time capsule to an older-Van style, unpretentious sports-bar roadhouse type place. The location is unusual, sort of at the basement of an apartment complex on a road you've never been to before, situated on an urban residential cul-de-sac, giving the bar a sheen of surreality.

With many pool tables, lots of tables, two big screens for 2 different games to watch, and good prices for beer, I'd be here all the time if it was local to me.

Special mention for the food: had the chef's special lasanga last night and it was so good ordered a second dinner to try!

Judging from the crowd, people of all ages who know good spots know this place. Check it out!“

“I was very happy to find a pub in this area! I will say, the food was way better than I expected. We loved the server and bartender we met, Maria and Elwood made our night so much more fun. They had the perfect amount of banter and interacting, our whole group had so much fun!! For a pub that could use a bit more fixing / upgrading, but other than that, we all highly recommend the pub! I know we will all be back again! Its a great hidden gem!“

“I visited this place last night with my friends for an after‑party, and we had a great time. The male staff member here was very kind, and when I told him I had accidentally lost my SD card, he took the time to look for it when he had a moment. That level of customer service really impressed me.
(For reference, I later found the SD card in my another bag ^^;)
