“Just had an awesome meal at Tippy’s Cookhouse on Bowen Island. The Yogi Benny is so good and their house-made hot sauce totally makes it. Staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere is great whether your sitting inside or outside on their patio. Plus, it’s kid- and dog-friendly, which is a huge win. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!“

“A great local spot right next to the Ferry Terminal. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little spot and the owner and her mom who run it are so sweet. I’ll definitely come here again as supporting local spots in the community is so important. Looking forward to trying the fresh pressed juice next time!“

“as others have mentioned, the tteokbokki is fantastic. This used to be my go-to place for studying before I graduated. Service is a little 50-50, depends on who’s working. Prices are also a little expensive. But it’s generally a nice space to chat with friends or sit and get some work done.“
“The egg waffle ice cream in the coffee shop on the UBC campus is very creative, but it doesn’t have much matcha flavor and is a bit greasy to eat alone. Of course, the egg waffle itself is quite delicious. There are some places to sit next to the counter.“

“This is place is unique spacious and affordable for Us ( students). The bakes are awesome. My fav chocolate chip coffee cookie yum 😋
And most drinks hot cold drinks are on point. I hope this place stays untill i am done at ubc and even after!

“Honestly one of the best and cheapest cafes there is on campus! They have a very cute vibe, cozy study space, and fantastic food for a very low price! The hot entree I got is only $5, and I can't recommend it enough especially if you are a UBC student :)“
