“Such a lovely little cafe! The hospitality and kindness of the employees really stood out—they were so sweet and welcoming. There was a great variety of freshly baked items to choose from, all of which looked (and tasted) delicious. I especially loved the cream cheese options !
The drinks were also great, and the whole vibe of the place is cozy and cute. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. A perfect cafe with a solid mix of options—highly recommend!“

“All was great, first time going there. The only thing I would suggest is to get real plants instead of fake ones. The light coming in is perfect, but the plastic plants makes it look cheap. Food was great. Maybe a variety of fruit on the cheesecakes would be good too. Strawberry, mango, peach, banana etc. Coffee was perfect, nice and hot, not bitter.“

“We were looking for a spot for lunch when in the area and found this one on Google maps. With such high reviews, we figured we'd have to try it. It's a very small restaurant, bit of a hole in the wall. The food was fantastic and the owner seemed really nice. When we went it was about 11:45 and the place was packed. A lot of the people that work in the area go there for lunch. Since most of them were eating soup, I figured we should try it. Great decision. It was delicious. If in the area again we will definitely go back.
I had to give it a four on atmosphere instead of a five just because the place could use a little bit of work. But I don't think anybody goes there for that. They go for the food and the friendliness of the owner.“

“We came with 4 kids during a family visit. We came on a weekday and it was busy but not overwhelming. I can see how it could be crazy on a weekend. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared every dish, Bulgogi platter, fried chicken (both spicy and not), mango waffles, along with other pastries. The front girl taking our order was friendly, food is fantastic and the decor was cool. Its not an intimate fine dining type place. Expect some overall noise with how sound travels.“

“Great coffee spot! I came here one morning the line was 7-8 people long but it moved quickly with 2 cash registers open. I ordered an iced latte and the double smoked bacon & egg breakfast bagel. Order came up quickly. There were plenty of tables available despite being the morning rush. The latte was prefect, not too sweet. The sandwich was exactly what I wanted, nice and toasted. They are very efficient and move through the crowds very quickly. Overall very happy with this place, would definitely come back again!
Parking: There is a parking lot in the back with plenty of spaces as well as street parking.“

“A very nice and warm welcoming cafe. The lady working here was very nice and gave me a wonderful cozy vibe. As if you’re visiting a caring relative. She was very kind and made sure we all found a drink we would enjoy.
The drinks are very delicious and I was very pleased. They use real fruits for some of their drinks and they were very refreshing.
We got 20% off our drinks. The lady told us for the winter months there is 20% off for the season.
I will definitely be back!
I recommend either of the two drinks we got or something made with real fruits!

“I usually don't do reviews of coffee shops since there are way too many in this part of Canada.
What I would say is this particular coffee shop has a nice Vibe and it is quite spacious with tall ceilings. They also have a liquor license which is surprising but when I talked to the owner he said that it came with part of Ellie's contract. So if you want to stop by and enjoy a beverage and not just coffee, this is a place to check out.“

“A quaint little cafe tucked into the Brentwood mall food court, Soon Coffee caught my eye with its charming combination of blue, light pink, and white decor, adorned with adorable illustrations: a visual treat that initially drew me in.
The space, though small, was well-utilized, creating an inviting atmosphere. I opted for an iced americano and a chocolate chip cookie, simple items that were hard to mess up. The staff were warm but seemed slightly uncoordinated. For instance, I ordered a small iced americano but received a larger size instead. This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be concerning if another customer experienced the reverse situation. Although I was the only one waiting, the barista had to call for me from across the counter and ask me what I ordered, which was strange. It seemed like they were new, so I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. As for the food, the chocolate chip cookie was mediocre. The center was unbaked and it tasted as if it were missing an ingredient. However, the iced americano, which was unexpectedly sweet, balanced the bold, dark flavours of the coffee beautifully.
Overall, Soon Coffee is a really cute spot that I'd like to visit more often should I find myself at Brentwood.“

“Heh… Vancouver Brunch Cafe ? Great Restaurant? I found it!Since it's newly opened, they even give out pudding for free? What's going on with the mara pasta? and the rose tteokbokki flavor?? I'm a mala addict, and I'm eating something here that I couldn't even eat in Korea.?The portions are plentiful, the owner and staff are friendly, and the cafe is very clean and cute?I will come often from now on~~~
Kid-friendliness: Baby chair? There is also a baby dining chair.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a restroom that can accommodate a wheelchair.“

“Tera’s Bean in Burnaby is a fantastic spot for dessert lovers! We sampled a few of their cheesecakes and ganache treats, and everything was top-tier. The Matcha Basque Cheesecake was rich and creamy with a deep matcha flavor, while the Classic Basque Cheesecake had a perfectly caramelized top and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also tried the Matcha Ganache and Chocolate Ganache — both were warm, rich, and incredibly indulgent. The texture and flavor balance were spot on!
The café has a cozy, modern vibe that makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. If you’re into high-quality desserts with thoughtful flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.“

“I would say this place offers an exceptional dining experience. I ordered the bacon and cheddar hash brown stack, and it was incredibly flavorful. The hash browns absorb the oil from the bacon, making the dish even more appetizing. I also enjoyed the old-school vibe, and the view from the windows is amazing—you can see the SkyTrain passing by. It feels like having brunch in the sky!“

“On a rainy day, I found myself seeking shelter at the Café at Mandeville, and what a delightful discovery it was! The café exudes a cozy vibe that made me feel right at home, especially with a fireplace near our table which added a touch of warmth to the dreary weather outside.
The food and drinks were a hit. I had the picnic, which was great, and an iced Americano that was certainly above average—robust and refreshing. The daily soup was another highlight for me; it was rich, comforting, and exactly what I needed on a chilly day.
The café also boasts a charming outdoor seating area that I took note of for future visits. It seems like the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and meal outdoors, especially with kids. The ambiance of the café, combined with its tasty offerings, makes it a fantastic place to chill with friends or enjoy a family outing.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Café at Mandeville, to enjoy not just the ambiance and company but also to relish their food and drinks in the lovely outdoor setting.“

“I highly recommend for office catering. we've ordered many times and food always tastes fresh and delicious, service is impeccable and the chef and team are very accommodating.“
“Their staff are very nice and helpful, they try to know their customers and try to remember their eating habits, and offering the same service as customer reaches to their store.
I loved it when I got into their location, and while I was waiting to order, they were preparing my order in advanced! Loved their customer care and service. No need to say their quality is perfect as well!“

“Great option for a quick office lunch. Good menu of tasty offerings, fresh ingredients, good portion sizes, reasonably priced. Never had a bad experience there nor have I heard from my colleagues. We are located in the building next door so very convenient and many of us eat here.“
“This ia loacted in the 3000 level of the Academic Quadrangle in SFU. There are separate Sandwich, Sushi, Soup, Stir fry, Pizza, breakfast and tea with delis counters which serve different food menu. Some of those have daily special items. They have a good selection from many world wide cusines. A subway is also located inside cafe. And there is a large area of chairs and tables that contains different levels of comfort. It is open for breakfast and lunch.
Vegetarian options: There are few options at every station.“

“The line up can be long at peak times, even extending beyond the door of the cafeteria. Food offerings are very reasonably priced and affordable. Food is not bad. Staff are helpful, but not out of their way friendly. Very crowded during lunch with no tables left, however, there is seating outdoors. Food is prepared within 5-15 minutes, depending on item and time. Disposable wooden cutlery is available, self-serve. There is a coffee machine, but it is sometimes out of service.

“Finally writing a review for one of my favourite places to go to study or sit for a bit with a treat! The owners are really nice and their prices are some of the lowest in the area.
This time I got an Earl Grey crepe cake (so cute with a mini Oreo on top!) and a hot matcha latte. This latte always has lots of matcha and is one of my favourite items to get here.
There are several wall outlets and free WiFi. Outside of exam season, it's generally pretty quiet because people tend to go to the more aesthetic coffee shop a couple doors down.“

“Best rice bowls!!!
Beef teriyaki and spicy pork are really delicious.
For this price, I can eat such great food!!!
I highly recommend it to anyone.
I often go to McDonald's next door, but I like this place because I never get tired of the menu.
The coffee is good and each sandwich is really delicious.
I want to let you know because I visit here often.
The scones are also the best.“

“It is an amazing place with fresh coffee. I start my day by having something from COBS Bakery on Edmonds Street in Burnaby, which Is next door to Waves Coffee. These two shops are side by side and amazing places to spend time each morning. Waves Coffee is strongly recommended. I especially like the story of Muhammad Ali behind the coffee shop.“

“Just got back to Vancouver for good and wanted to revisit some favorite restaurants from 18 years ago. Sunshine Restaurant is one of them. I recognized the sign and menu; it’s all the same style as before, just in a different location. I remember it used to be beside the HKBC at Crystal Mall, but the server said they have never relocated. Maybe it’s been too long, and the server doesn’t know.
I also recall that the servers used to be a group of young ladies, but today I saw a middle-aged uncle and an older lady as the chef. Whatever.
As for the food, the taste remains the same as I remember. The chicken nuggets are still juicy and crispy, and the portion is good enough. However, the braised pork on the rice had a very small portion, almost like a condiment, which was disappointing.
Overall, the set is worth the price. In the past, I would also order a special drink with the set. However, the price of the drink is ridiculously expensive now—almost the same price as the meal set.
I visited around 3 pm today and was the only customer there. I’m not sure if it’s because it wasn’t rush hour or if the restaurant is having a hard time now. I remember it used to be busy all the time.
There are two recommendations for improvement: guest Wi-Fi and replacing the awful, dirty welcome carpet. The phone signal is completely interfered with in this restaurant, even when sitting by the window. It’s quite inconvenient in this era.
The best thing about this restaurant is that they still accept 10% tips.“

“Absolutely love this place - the coffee is great, the staff are absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable, and I appreciate it being open early. JJ Bean is solid all over the city and even among them this has gotta be one of the better locations. Note that seating where laptops are allowed to be used is limited and it gets busy later in the day.
Vegetarian options: They always have vegan breakfast sandwiches and muffins/baked goods and carry multiple plant based milks
Parking: Very large mall parking garage right next door, also very accessible by transit (5 minute walk from Skytrain)
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to access venue and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom“

I had a little issue for scone quality. But Prado cafe made a correction so quick. Makes me so happy. I had an issue for gift card refund of Joey Restaurant before, Joey restaurant was so terrible comparing with Prado cafe’s customer service.
Thanks Prado!!! Shameful Joey restaurant.(Joey restaurant doesn’t have any review page )“

“Compared to KingSpark, Crystal Cafe's drinks are default size Large instead of Regular. They also offer convenient lunch box options where you can pick a few dishes to be served on rice, similar to Manchu Wok. So if you're in a rush to get back to work, this place might be for you! They are extremely generous with their portions as well. If you don't have cash, well they accept Debit for orders over $15 which is a huge at Crystal Mall since many places still don't accept card.
I would say that the flavouring is perfect, it's never too saucy or lacking. The service is what you would expect at a food court but they are quite quick with getting you your food. Highly recommend trying them out.“

“I came here on a Saturday morning in October. The apple oat latte was delicious and the cafe itself is very cute and cozy. There is easy bike and pedestrian access, but it is quiet and tucked away from car traffic. This is a great place to sip and chat!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a long gentle ramp to the front door and the parking area is smoothly paved. The interior is spacious and not crowded with chairs or tables.“
