“Stopped in for a late night French Dip at Browns. The food was served hot and quick. The waitress was good with being multiple pop refills.

I did find it’s a little dark and was a little noisy with the music and people talking loud but still had conversation.“

But then the Staff is always friendly and the people there are friendly and always a good time . Service is always consistent.I’m GF/LF all I know is that I have had food there and never woke up bloated or water retained .“

Did you know that the hash browns are bottomless? Lived here our entire lifetime and was never told this. So let's talk about our server ... Olivia was absolutely delightful. She was polite and kind. She stopped in often to check in for coffee and hashbrown refills (btw who told us about the refills on the taters!!). She was easy to talk to without any kind of pressure. We even laughed over a story about Dave Matthews Band! The overall experience was positive and our interaction with Olivia alone would bring us back.“

“So upset I did not find this place before moving to cloverdale from north delta. It’s hard to find a pub that checks every box but this place has it. I got the wings ( of course) they were saucy and cooked to perfection. The blue cheese was the good chunky kind!!I sat by where the food was coming out and every time a meal passed me it smelt unreal. The owner even came out at one point to see how patrons would like a beer he was thinking of bringing in..The staff were on top of every refill and dirty dish. I will drive out from cloverdale to keep coming to this place.“

“Went to the Cactus Club on Marine Drive in Burnaby and had a great night. Laylo was an awesome server super friendly, on point with timing, and made the whole experience even better. Happy hour was solid: the prawn crunch hit the spot, the salmon aburi was fantastic, and the spicy margaritas kept flowing. Honestly, those margaritas were perfect just the right mix of heat and flavor. Great service, good food, and a fun atmosphere. I’d come back in a heartbeat.“

“We had a great experience having our wedding at Riverway. The patio was perfect for cocktail hour and the main dining area worked very well for the reception. Being on a golf course, you might see golfers behind the ceremony space in summer, but it didn’t feel distracting and didn’t take away from the ceremony. The sunset views are beautiful and shine through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which our guests loved.

The plated dinner was a highlight. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, in spite of the quantity that needed to be prepared, and the chicken with mushroom marsala cream was equally tasty. Portions were satisfying, and desserts like tiramisu and toffee sticky cake were crowd favorites. Dietary restrictions were handled smoothly, and we were well-attended-to during the initial menu tasting. Our signature cocktails, including some custom options, were a big hit with our guests!

Bradley was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The Riverway team helped ensure everything on the day-of went off without a hitch. Their attentiveness and thoroughness let us relax and truly enjoy our day. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, well-organized wedding with a team that really cares!“

“I’ve been far and wide, coast to coast, and for the West Coast this is hands down the best poutine you can find. The fries are golden, crispy, and homemade — straight cut with just the right thickness. The cheese curds? Easily the best I’ve ever had anywhere west of Quebec. The steamy dog all dressed is a true classic, and hard to come by out here, but this is the place to get it if you’ve been craving that authentic bite. Bravo. I’ll definitely be back. 10/10.“

“It’s a very nice concept and you can pick what you want. Choose from noodles, veggies and meat. Tofu and 9 different sauces to choose from. Only problem is that the flat heating plate they use for everything, if you are vegetarian, they will make same on the same where they made the meat one. They should have kept half of the plate for vegetarian people.“

“What a find Little Karp was. Such creative seafood and the service was outstanding. The Black cod was cooked to perfection as was the spicy squid appetizer and the octopus appetizer. They obviously use high quality fresh seafood. We cant wait to return! Highly recommended!“

“Food 4/5: it’s rare to find a good All You Can Eat (AYCE) place in the lower mainland at $17.99 per adult! There’s a good variety of Chinese food. Some of the food options are mild-to-medium spicy by Canadian standards. There are also non-spicy options.

First you pay, then you’re give a stainless steel plate. You had it to the server and tell them what you want. If you paid for AYCE, then you bring the same plate back for more.

Service: You grab your own free tea and water. When you’re done, you leave your plate at the table.

Atmosphere: it was about half full when we went on Saturday during lunch with a mix of families, couples and individuals.“

“I’ve been meaning to do this for the last month and I have finally gotten around to it. Every Saturday we go for lunch at White Spot and we have been greeted by a host named Emma. (We finally found her name out last week) she seems to really love her job and goes out of her way to make us feel very welcome, chatting and joking with us while she gets us a booth. Always with a smile on her face, hair, neatly done and those nails! My daughter looks forward to every Saturday when she gets to see what colour or design is on her nails. The servers are excellent, regardless of which one you get. (Sorry, don’t know your names) very attentive, polite and know their job well. When it’s busy, the servers and the greeters work together to make sure we are not waiting long. The food is always consistent, but what set them apart is the people. They have a great team there, from the moment you walk in to the time you leave, you feel like you are appreciated. Would recommend this to anyone who thinks atmosphere is an important part of the dining experience.“
