“Beautiful view, great food & wines.“
“Honestly, the wines speak for themselves. They are truly delicious. Crafted and served with passion. ❤️. Oh yeah, the view was also spectacular !“
“Loved our visit here. Stellar setting - one of the BEST in BC's wine country. Karen was an utter delight, sharing interesting info not only about the wines, but vines, Africa, and many other topics. We most enjoyed The Fizzy One and brought a couple home. Great that they waive the tasting fee with purchase. Don't miss the self-serve fridge of wines, other beverages, and cheeses - yum. Make sure you walk through the vines to see those gorgeous grapes up close.“
“ROCHE wines’s story weaves love, authentic French wine making tradition and an adventurous move to the Okanagan. Dylan Roche (Burgundy, Chablis, New Zealand, Margaux) an avid cyclist wished to pursue becoming a cycle mechanic and tour guide in the idyllic countryside of Burgundy in 2000. Serendipitously, the alluring life of winemaking converted him to officially train in Beaune (2003). Pénélope Furt-Roche (6th generation Bordeaux winemaker of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, Spain, New Zealand, Australia,Tasmania) grew up at the esteemed family estate in Bordeaux and at a young age learned the exquisite French tradition of winemaking with her Father Didier. The two merged paths in New Zealand whilst discovering Hawkes Bay during harvest and fell in love (original Hallmark story). They chased each back to France, started a life and both continued their wine journey in Bordeaux. In 2010, the family decided to sell the estate and with a leap of faith the vignerons couple wanted to pursue a dream of their own… Roche Wines! New transplanted they found their desired location in 2011 and commenced various projects to assist them to their final goal in 2017. Being organic, with hands-on farming, focused on sustainable practices and paired with unique Okanagan terroir Roche Wines has quickly excelled. Within their 5 years, Dylan and Pénélope have received BC Lieutenant Governor Awards, Highlighted in Decanter Magazine, high accolades from Jancis Robinson MW/London and wines are currently in most of BC’s TOP restaurants. Equally impressive is family friend and Award Winning Veteran winemaker Dwight Sick (Stag’s Hollow, Moraine Estate Winery, Chain Reaction, Seven Stones) whom has a stunning collaboration with Roche- Amulet Series. His glimpse of the Rhône features highly acclaimed and sought after Viognier/Marsanne, Grenache/Syrah blends. Together, this quaint and unsuspecting winery is a truly authentic slice of the BEST of France (Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Rhone) in our beloved wine country! 🏆❤️🍷🥂🍇🇫🇷“
“We were looking for a wine tasting in the region and this was the only winery we could find that was open (Dec 22nd 2025).
It was out first time here and no disappointment! The lady was really polite and kind. They charge $15 for a tasting of 5 wines or 4 sparkling wine. The good news is that they waive the tasting fee if you buy a bottle, which is a great deal.
Wines were good and tasting included a detailed explanation of each wine.
I recommend coming here for a great tasting!

“The perfect place for a friendly low-key tasting experience with some extremely good wines. It's a small production winery with the majority of sales going to club members and visitors to the winery. That's reason enough to visit - get in on the secret!“
“Absolutely amazing experience! The wine was phenomenal, and the service was even better. Aaron in the tasting room made our visit unforgettable—he was super knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can tell he loves what he does, and it made the tasting so much more enjoyable and fun! This winery is a must‑visit, and I’ll be back again and again.“
“Thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to do some wine tastings! Machelle was an amazing host sharing her awesome wealth of information on the grapes and history of the winery. I would recommend stopping in to enjoy a welcoming experience and try some fabulous wines! I was so impressed I joined the wine club!!“
“Lei Lei was amazing!!! I showed up with an impromptu tasting tour with my family and the three sisters accommodated us with no reservation which was awesome! Lei lei did our tasting and she was sweet and funny and perfect for our group and told us about the wines and tasting notes perfectly! Will be back again (The Rebecca sparkling is TO DIE for)“
“What an unforgettable experience! We reserved a table for a tasting, and our host Larry was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. And the wine… wow! Every bottle we tried was exceptional. Let’s just say, it was a challenge finding enough room in the truck for all the wine we brought home!“
“Great location for live music! Very welcoming and laid back atmosphere“
“Beautiful view. Very nice wine. The food was excellent and very fairly priced for the quality and portion sizes. We will definitely be back!“
“Ok absolutely best winery on Naramata bench. The staff are out of this world kind and passionate and beautiful. The view and care put into the space is immediately recognizable. You can tell the owners here have been doing this for a long time and are very passionate about what they do.“
“(review for winery only, though GoogleMaps thinks I must have stayed there!) We had a wonderful visit at D'Angelo, such a great surprise. Vince was charming and helpful in every way. We enjoyed everything we sampled, and walked away with both varietals of Dolce Vita, so delish and unusual. The food truck onsite with fabulous view was an added bonus. Can't wait to return.“
“Valerie and Stephen were a joy to work with. Sanitation and organization in the cellar were top notch, and Valerie executed winemaking instructions for my clients perfectly. Great communication and well equipped winery and lab ideal for producing small lot premium wines. I would recommend BC Wine Studio & Carter Wine Co to anyone looking for a quality full service custom crush facility.“
“Wonderful small winery. We were taken excellent care of by Angela, and by the winery dog Chris Helmsworth. She explained the winemaker if left to his own devices would grow only Pinot noir and chardonnay - both of which the winery excels in. But when the owners purchased the property there was a field of gewurztraminer, which the have kept as a legacy. See photo of the wines we tasted. The chardonnay from Washington was lighter, while the home grown ones were just to our liking. Just a hint of vanilla from a short time in oak and lively fruits on the palate. Of the pinots the McLean Road '23 had classic Pinot characteristics, and was ready to drink now or hold. The Micro Cuvée '23 had firm tannins, and while still a pleasure to drink now, will be good to age for a few years.
The winery ships anywhere in Canada, and has a wide variety of options to choose from: 4 or 12 wines per shipment, and either chardonnay or Pinot or both. Also a 10% discount on all wines purchased. We opted for the mixed 4 pack.
BTW the winery was #2 Small winery in Canada, and #3 winery in BC in 2025 NWAC.“
“I work in the wine industry and the wines and tasting experience I had at Blasted Church Winery with my host Abby was exceptional in every way: friendly customer service and knowledge, amazing wines, vista views and a pride in our world renowned wine industry.“
“Beautiful view, great food & wines.“
“my absolute favorite wine! when on Vancouver Island it's the only wine I buy! wish they sold to the USA...❤️🥰❤️🥂“
“My wife and I truly enjoy this winery — the My wife and I truly enjoy this winery — the wines are absolutely delicious, which makes choosing a favourite nearly impossible! We recently brought relatives here for a sit-down tasting experience, and Krista was our guide. She absolutely knocked it out of the park.
Krista curated thoughtful side-by-side comparisons that showcased the differences between vintage years, helping us appreciate the subtle nuances in each wine. She was incredibly engaging, sharing the background and history of the vineyard and winery with genuine enthusiasm. Her knowledge of the wines was impressive and added so much to the experience.
We love this winery’s story, their logo, and especially their motto: “Dreams don’t come true; dreams are made true.” It perfectly reflects the heart and effort behind everything they do.
We always look forward to returning and highly recommend bookmarking this winery when you’re in the region. If you can, try to book a patio tasting — the views are amazing and make the experience even more memorable. You won’t be disappointed!“
“We’re so happy that we stopped here today!!! Such good wines and cheese and @Landon Ketterer was such a delight to interact with too: knowledgeable, friendly, personable!!! To anyone passing by, please do yourself a favour and stop at the Upper bench, you won’t regret it!!!“

“So , like many of us locals , I have been driving past this place for several years , assuming that there is no way on earth you can buy even remotely decent wine for 100$ a case.
How wrong I was.
I was there for a different reason than the wine , had a meeting with the owner.
After our business was done , he invited us in for a tasting, and my wife and I were blown away. Pieter and his lovely parents treated us like family , gave us an extensive tasting selection , and we left with a case of mixed reds , whites , and a few of their fruit based wines at amazing prices. Also , out back was a large patio with views over skaha lake , will definitely be going back in the summer.
Thanks Pieter!“
