“I love sushi te, I always get them or Youngs, whichever is open. They recently added salad with their takoyaki and the dressing for the salad can leak onto the bottom of your takoyaki, still good but can make the takoyaki a bit soggy on the bottom as well as change the flavor a little, so maybe get them separated if you're doing takeout to avoid that. The meal was still a 10/10“

“Little Japan is the best and sweetest little family-owned sushi restaurant. I work right next door, and they are truly the best neighbours to have. During our store’s busiest times or after long working hours, we often order takeout from them, and they ALWAYS deliver it right to our door, which is incredibly kind. It’s a small gesture, but it never goes unnoticed. They are such hardworking and genuinely good people :)

I’ve been grabbing takeout from them for a long time now, and it never disappoints. The sushi and food are always fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. It’s my favourite thing to bring home after a long day.

“Went here today for lunch with friends, three of whom selected the box combinations. I selected my usual BC roll and tuna sashimi. The tuna was fresh and the BC roll was one of the better ones that I’ve had. Very pleasant and polite service and nice atmosphere with the big cherry blossom in the middle of the store. Clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking around although it appears to be a busy strip mall. Easily accessible for anyone with physical mobility challenges. Would recommend and return.“

“When I arrived at Sushi Nara in the late afternoon of Saturday, it was quite vacant, so I did not have to wait for a table. I ordered the Chicken Donburi and the House Special sushi roll. The donburi was terrific; the chicken was crispy and savoury, the rice was admirably good and the teriyaki sauce was potent in sweet flavour and help tied everything together. The house special was spectacular, it had everything you wanted in sushi, literally rolled into one. The miso soup that came with the entrees was a soothing side to have.

The service was great. The staff was courteous and very quick when they came with my food in what felt like minutes after I ordered. The restaurant’s ambiance was quite calming and like some of the décor such as the potted plants and the cat banners.

Overall, this is a great Japanese restaurant and would very much like to come back there soon. My only regret is that I did not go there sooner.“

The staff were quite lovely and understanding when we said we were just grabbing takeout. They were still quite welcoming and offered us water while we waited. For a smaller restaurant, they had some cute touches in the decor.“
