“We’re not vegans, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but the food really impressed us. I had the chow mein and my wife went with the curry. Both were super tasty and filling. The curry was a bit thick. Service was warm, portions were generous, and the whole experience just felt easy and pleasant. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Our first time to order here and we are sorry we didn't try it sooner! Chicken wings were amazing and the spring rolls so fresh and unlike any others I have had. We also had the salad rolls that did not skimp on the shrimp. We will dine in next time as the restaurant is adorable!!“

“Some of the best pho I've had in a long time. The meat sweats for themselves ? . It's a simple place with a minimal menu - but wow it is good food. My only feedback would be to include the Vietnamese/Thai basil leaves with the pho. Thanks Tommy.“

“I've eaten Pho in 10 or 15 different countries... Pho Chan is the BEST I've ever had! I love the Pho Satay (#11) cuz it comes with peanut sauce that really mellows it out perfectly! Ban-mi (subs) are also some of the best I've ever tasted.... And once again, I've had bon-mi (??) all over the globe!“

“I was expecting to get disappointed by the amount of negative reviews of this restaurant but I’m actually impressed.
I have reviewed about 40 pho restaurants in Vancouver (check profile if you don’t believe me). And I must say, this restaurant deserves a much better rating.
Then I read the negative reviews. Dang, some are actually restaurant mistakes. But majority of the bad reviews are people who have never eaten at a pho restaurant. Seriously, if you’ve been at pho restaurant, you know they leave a container of chopsticks, napkins and soup spoons on each table so the patrons can use.
I keep reading the word hygiene on the negative reviews and this place seems a lot better than many Vancouver restaurants. Tables are clean, chopsticks, spoons, dishes all clean. And on top of that, the bean sprouts were extremely fresh and crisp.
We ordered pho. The broth is light yet flavourful. A bit low on the salt side which is a major plus for me. I add extra sriracha as my ‘salt’.
The pho is great. Good portion and good size and great value.
I would definitely eat here again next time I go to the Walmart nearby.“

“I had the pho tai pho noodle and rice plate with lemongrass chicken and grilled pork. The pho noodles were delicious. I love the taste of the broth. The lemongrass chicken and grilled pork were ok. I enjoyed the grilled pork at a different pho restaurant called Pho Capital in Coquitlam.“

“Pho 68 on King George is truly a gem in Surrey! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a spacious dining area that’s both inviting and comfortable. The location is super accessible, and the added bonus of free basement parking makes it easy to visit without the hassle of finding a spot.
Now, let's talk about the food! Their house specialty, the pho, is simply outstanding. The broth is rich and flavorful, simmered to perfection, and the generous portions ensure you leave satisfied. It’s no wonder that people flock to this place—each bowl is crafted with care, and the fresh ingredients truly shine through.
What sets Pho 68 apart is not just the delicious food but also the exceptional customer service. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasant experience.
With prices that are just right for the quality and quantity offered, Pho 68 is undoubtedly one of the best pho spots in Surrey. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying pho for the first time, this place is a must-visit!“

“Crab pho $26, totally worth it in my opinion the most unique immaculate, perfect broth I’ve ever had. I love the tapioca noodles, bonus for the deep fried soft shell crab, so good love the crunchy texture with the warm broth.! actual chunks of crab also in the soup! I’m a big eater and I couldn’t finish it all, so I would definitely come back to try more dishes“

“This place reminds me of a bowl of Pho in Vietnam eg. “Pho Le” Simplistic and authentic. I’ve had everything from Cafe Dang Ang to Pho Duy, and this spot is my favourite alongside Linh Cafe which has a richer broth.
The side condiments are fresh and the beef they use for their Pho Tai is tender and adds a beefiness when cooked in the hot broth.
Their spring rolls are made using Rice Paper and are one of the best in the city. (I personally like the Hanoi style from Cafe Dang Anh)
Pho Tan is famous for their Satay Beef Pho #19 but their entire menu is delicious.
The service is also exceptional, very warm and attentive. They always check up on you.“

“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.“

“Hands down the best spring rolls I've ever had in my life. I can't stop raving about them to anyone who will listen. I tried Ha Cafe for the first time and went back again the next day just for the spring rolls. The Pho was also very tasty, and a good portion size.“

“I knew from the smell as soon as I walked in that THIS was the place!! I have missed ppho like this since I lived on the border of the Vietnamese district in Montreal!! I showed them the pictures and my son and daughter-in-law and they came right over and we ate together Not surprisingly, most of the patrons are Vietnamese!“

“We went to this Vietnamese Vegan Restaurant tucked away unobtrusively in the "sleepy "Crest Strip Mall in Burnaby /New Westminister area today for lunch .
The Restaurant is owned & run by a Vietnamese Family & reportedly been around for past 21 years.
We ordered the Mixed Fried Rice, Veg Noodle, Eggplant Coconut Curry in Claypot & Spring Rolls.
All the dishes were tasty & nice -though the Eggplant curry lacked more spice & seasoning. However the Restaurant had all kinds of Chilli, Sriracha, Sweet , Plum sauces & these added to the flavour.
All dishes were freshly made & served piping hot -specially the Spring Rolls (we had 2 helpings of this dish).
Prices were reasonable & service was good, pleasing & efficient. The Restaurant is very Spartan but homely & the Toilet was kept in immaculate condition .
The only negative point I like to add is that the Rice used in the Fried Rice was a coarse variety with large grains instead of the usual Jasmine Rice. ( Indian Basmati Rice would have enhanced the flavour further).
We will return to this Restaurant again in the near future. (Restaurant closes on Sun, Mon, Tue -every week).
Dietary restrictions: Pure Vegan Restaurant
Parking: Free Parking in the Strip Mall
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant has high chairs
Wheelchair accessibility: There is enough space inside for placing a wheelchair.“

I was so scared that my stomach would have gotten upset BUT WHEN THE DELICIOUS BROTH TOUCHED MY LIPS... It made me feel like I was becoming alive again 💞 I live 45 minutes away from this place, but I will definitely mission once a week to indulge in such quick, affordable and healing t

“I find myself actively craving to come here for bun rieu. It’s an authentic no frills spot with great flavours. Everything is simply delicious. I also love that they don’t make a fuss when I ask to customize my order (i.e. changing to pho noodles instead of bun noodles). Might not be a flashy place but it’s unarguably my favourite for Vietnamese food in Burnaby“

“Best pho I’ve ever had. My bf and I come here all the time and it never disappoints. I suppose it is a bit expensive at $20 for a bowl of pho but honestly I don’t care it’s too good. The broth is so good you don’t even have to add anything to it. I have tried other pho spots since coming here and nothing compares“

“This is a charming little spot with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. It’s not fancy or upscale, but it has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. My absolute favorite item here is the boneless chicken feet salad – it’s so delicious and unique. The only downside is that, for $28, the portion of chicken feet is a bit on the small side, which leaves you wishing there was just a little more of it to fully enjoy. But overall, it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy something different.“

“Best Bun Bo Hue soup in Surrey at this location. Bun Bo Hue = Spicy Pho Type soup served with bean sprouts and red cabbage.
Their regular Pho is just average here.
However if you have a larger party, try 5 kinds of beef. It's an amazing experience for your taste buds. It also comes with a numerous amount of veggies, so this might be a healthy option.
Sadly, if you come here close to 10am expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes for your soup. They claim to open at 10 but don't actually start heating up the soup until 10 so disappointing wait times here.
5 stars for the food quality!“

From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with a warmth and hospitality that’s second to none. The service is impeccable – attentive, thoughtful, and above all, genuine. Every staff member goes out of their way to make sure you’re not just satisfied but delighted at every turn. It’s the kind of place where you feel like family, and that’s a rare and wonderful thing.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Simply put, it’s perfection on a plate. Each dish is a vibrant explosion of flavors, balancing freshness with bold, authentic Vietnamese spices that transport you straight to the bustling streets of Hanoi or Saigon. “My favorite place to get Pho, it's my go to spot for lunch when I'm craving soup.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and most importantly they are fast. The food is consistent and it tastes exactly like the way it should be made.
The Vietnamese Sub is also great! And though they take longer I know that it's always freshly made.
My favorite take out order is the Lemon grass chicken rice. It's just very good.“

“I ordered a lemon grass chicken banh mi with a Vietnamese iced coffee
The baguette is very fresh but I’m not sure if I completely enjoyed the chicken here. I’m starting to learn that some places will make their chicken sweeter than others and I lean more towards the non-sweeter ones.
Everything else was good! The coffee was amazing! I’d probably go with a different type of banh mi here just to see the difference.
They were packed inside and had many take out orders so I’m guessing their other dishes must be good!“

“Update: May. 27, 2025:
3rd time back, this time for lunch with a friend, shared a couple more items:
Salad Rolls (Ham & Shrimp, 2pce) $10.99, DF Noodle with Lemongrass Chicken (or Beef) & Vegetable $18.75 and DF Chicken Dumpling (8pce) $11.99.
The dumplings have good flavour but don’t come with a dipping sauce, there is sarracha, hoisin and chili oil on the table.
The noodles were just ok, sauce isn’t super flavourful and heavy on the thickener.
Peanut sauce with the salad rolls was ok but I’ve had better.
May. 2, 2025:
Lunch today was our first visit as it has been recommended by locals and our previous go-to closed due to retirement.
We’re happy to be adding Super Pho into our rotation as pricing, portion sizing and flavour is very good.
We ordered our usual to do a comparison:
B5 Noodles w/rare beef steak, well done flank (L $15.99) and E5 Vermicelli w/lemongrass pork and spring rolls ($18.50).
Hubby who usually orders large, found the large phó too filling for him. The lemongrass in my vermicelli bowl was more flavourful than our previous go-to….and it came with 2 rolls instead of 1 for the same price at the former.
We were very impressed and look forward to trying more from their very large menu.
Located in a strip mall (Scott Town Plaza) with lots of parking .
All forms of payment accepted.“

“This pho restaurant provides a satisfying and comfortable dining experience. We ordered the house special pho and the grilled pork chop and chicken on rice. The portions were generous, offering good value for money.
The taste of the dishes was traditional and authentic, capturing the familiar flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. However, compared to some other places, the overall flavor and depth were not quite as outstanding.
The interior is nicely decorated, new, and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a hearty and authentic Vietnamese meal, even if it doesn't quite stand out among the very best.“

“Very nice owner. My son bought a sandwich but didn't realized that there is peanut sauce in it which he is mildly allergic for and didn't ask about it prior ordering. The owner lady made him an extra sandwich without it for free of charge. Sandwiches are pretty tasty and crunchy, would definitely return.“

“It wasn't bad. Broth was tasty. Service was good and quick. First time eating there, I don't eat alot of pho. But the oho i have eaten is usually nice and hot. The noddles are served on the side at room temperature. When you add them in and then add the bean sprouts in the whole thing is room temperature and no longer hot. This was disappointing for me. However I qucik 90 seconds in microwave made it better. Also i needed to have my own bowl to mix everything into. Seems like they could just buy big plastic bowls to solve this issue. After it was hot the only problem was the extremely chewy beef. I Will go back and try the Bahn mi sub and add it to review next time. Over all it wasn't that bad cause it all tasted good. That's why 4 out of 5“
