“The Chinese food is great and cheap. 😋 I enjoy coming here often. The staff are friendly. I love Asian food.
One advantage of coming here is it is near my place.
Today, I am having the seafood vegetable soup with noodles.“

“One of the few Chinese restaurant that still have dim sum cart going around instead of placing your order. Main advantage of dim sum cart is you can see how it looks like instead of just a dish on the menu. And you can have your favorite food right away.
Since their food is very reasonably priced so parking is challenging and you may have to wait over half hour during weekends lunch time. Waiting on Sunday started as early as 11am and still a line when we left before 2pm.“

“Literally THE best family business and amazing food. Everything is made on-site. The packaged dim sum may be frozen, but don’t let that fool you one bit- it packs a hefty punch of flavour! My favourites are the ha gow, pork and shrimp siu mai, beef meatball, shrimp wonton, pork beancurd, vegan mushroom dumpling, turnip cake, pork and chive dumpling, lotus leaf wrap, blackbean sparerib, chicken feet, mung bean sticky rice, BBQ pork bun(best in the city), salted custard bun, red bean bun. My grandma’s favourite is the peanut sticky rice wrap. She said they taste just like the ones her mother taught her to make, so you know they’re super authentic!!! Shop local, support legacy businesses, and save Chinatown!“

“We have lunched and dinned here for decades, through changes and renovations.
The service attained and maintained a consistent level of efficiency and courtesy for the last 2 decades.
We enjoy the dim sums which are always delicate, light but flavourful.
For dinner, some spectacular dishes require pre-orders. We always enjoyed the braised duck on a bed of savoury mixed mushroom (forgot the proper name of the dish), and many more.“
“Hong Kong style dim sum. The quality is excellent. The wrapped sticky rice is delicious 😋 港式點心,真材實料。個懷舊糯米雞好正😋“

“Came for Valentine's Day and we were not disappointed. A bit on the pricey side, but the restaurant was fully packed and we saw one table of over 15guests accommodated. The service, privacy, and food quality was all excellent. Check out the creative Mango pudding presentation! (It wasn't sweet at all).“

“For a restaurant featured on the Michelin Guide, Chef's Choice is a very solid restaurant all around. It's got a very nice interior atmosphere, with tasteful decor.
Quick and attentive staff and service, combined with incredibly good dim sum and other Cantonese dishes, which makes Chef's Choice my choice for Vancouver dim sum places.“

“A nice big high ceilings and big windows Chinese restaurant. It's good enough for a dim sum lunch and dinner since the place is comfortable and roomy. It's a good Chinese restaurant if you are meeting your friends and family since it's comfortable and not noise.
They offer 20% off for the dim sum and free tea in the morning until 11am Monday to Friday. This is a good deal if you can go in the morning. There are plenty of free parking too.
Since the restaurant is big, sometimes you may find no enough staff there.
The price is reasonable and food is quite good. They have some promotion combo and special price in lunch time.
If you are in this area, you can try it once.“

“The pork buns were so so incredibly delicious, the Dan Dan noodles were ok tho. They were so nice and it took less than 5 minutes to get our food even tho it was busy in there. It’s a 30 minute drive for me to get there and it’s 100% worth it and lots of free parking too! Also it’s a great price for the food! Will be going back!😊😊😊“

“I’m reviewing this place as a native shanghainese.
This place specializes in Shanghai style pan fried buns. If you are curious about how it would taste in Shanghai then order it. The taste is authentic. 4 star for the buns. Beware that the filling is suppose to be on the sweeter side.
Other dishes gets 3 stars. Are they absolutely amazing? No. But, they remind me of home, and my childhood.“

“DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to support a cheap company. I work for Door Dash and just finished completing a merchant order from there. I carried 10 heavy boxes of spring rolls to their store on L2 Brentwood Mall. $200 worth of food and $0 tips from them. This is a disgrace and I will never take an order from Will H again at this store. If I can go lower than 1 star I would but Google forces me to give 1. Embarrassing to have restaurants like these exist.“

“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.“

“Had a wonderful dim sum experience at this harbor-side tea house! The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting, with lovely views adding to the relaxing vibe. Service was exceptional too; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. A perfect spot for a leisurely meal. Highly recommended!“

“Great Chinese seafood restaurant in East side of Vancouver. Quality is consistently good. Parking is available in front of restaurant. Ease to wheel in for the seniors.
Make sure you call to make reservations, it fills up early with long lineup which is the best indicator of good food around the world either Chinese or Western food.
You definitely will enjoy the food, guaranteed but you will be much poorer when you walk out“

“Had dimsum here and the food was amazing! Everything was so flavourful and they were very attentive when we needed more water, tea or napkins. This is also still hands down my favourite place to have the Liu Sha Bao. Other places, the bun tastes kind of dry and the egg custard isn’t as flavourful. We were also happy to eat the Sesame Oil Chicken as it’s not always found on dimsum menu!“

“My husband brought me here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He was recommended to come by a friend and we were glad we came.
The owner was so nice and had messaged my husband with recommendations of dishes to try (some of which were not on the menu).
All his dishes were amazing and so delicious. As he is the only chef, dishes took a while to come out but we did not mind the wait at all. The server was nice and tended to us when we needed anything.
It was definitely worth our trip to downtown for this restaurant. Highly recommended!!“

“Busy busy place. Went there for dim dim as a large group. Reservations a must as there is always long line ups. Food was hot and portions were generous. We missed the special pricing as it was a holiday so it didn't apply. Still good value.“

“Small restaurant that punched well above it's weight class. Every dim sum was freshly made and delicious. Honestly, I've never gone here in years but decided to try. Now I know what I have been missing. Not too busy and very friendly staff. I will be back to try the dinner menu.“
“Great place for frozen dimsum. Have been coming here for a few years now and will continue coming back whenever I need a restock.
Places like this used to be more common here when I was a kid but as our city changes so does the landscape of local business. Stop by and enjoy home made dimsum while shops like this are still around.“

“Dined last weekend. The place was packed due to Chinese New Year. We had a reservation but it still took close to 30 mins to get a table. But the service was very good and we didn't have to wait too long for the food. The food itself was good, not great. Nothing really stood out. We had the peking duck - 2 ways. The skin of the duck wasn't very crispy. The second way was a lettuce wrap. Not too much duck meat, but fairly standard. We also had a scallop and egg tofu hot pot, which seem a bit small for the price. The food was decent, maybe a little on the pricey side. The service was the real standout. Much better than our experience at another restaurant a week prior.“

“Lee Garden is a reliable choice for classic Cantonese seafood and dim sum. The ingredients taste fresh, portions are generous, and dishes come out quickly, even during busy hours. Dim sum is consistently good, with a wide selection, and the seafood dishes are well prepared and flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size, and the dining room is spacious and comfortable, making it a great place for family gatherings or group meals. Service is efficient and friendly. Overall, a solid neighborhood restaurant that’s easy to come back to.“

“Here’s a polished restaurant review you can use:
⸻
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Color Seesee, and it was a wonderful reminder of authentic Shanghainese comfort food.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the steamed soup buns (小笼包). Each bun was delicate and perfectly pleated, and the moment you bite into one, a burst of rich, savory broth fills your mouth. The balance between the thin wrapper, tender meat filling, and flavorful soup was spot on—exactly what you hope for in a great Shanghainese xiaolongbao.
Another standout dish was the mini wonton soup. The small, silky wontons in clear broth instantly brought back memories of time spent in Shanghai. The flavors were light yet deeply comforting, and the texture of the wontons was just right—soft, smooth, and satisfying.
Overall, Color Seesee delivers an authentic taste of Shanghai with care and attention to detail. If you’re craving genuine Shanghainese flavors—especially excellent soup dumplings—this is definitely a place worth visiting.“

“A pretty decent dim sum spot — not too fancy, but hits the spot! 🥢 The place isn’t big, yet the dim sum quality is quite good. Steamed dishes come out hot and fresh, with nice big portions, and the fried items are crispy and flavorful. The rice noodle rolls are super smooth and tasty — definitely my favorite! 😋
Only downside — the tea could be better. It’s a bit weak and lacks that classic aroma. Hope they can level up the “Drink Tea” to match the rest of the food. 💪✨“

“Chose this restaurant as I've followed the manager, Michael Kwok, around since his days at Floata, then Red Star, and now at Kowloon Delight. Hosted my son's high school grad family dinner, and recently mom in law's milestone birthday party. The Great: food is fabulous as confirmed by my very picky MIL and extended family. In particular, hot n sour soup is one of the best we've had. Service by Michael and servers is top notch (which is usually a bone of contention in a Chinese restaurant but not here). The Good: parking is covered as it's inside a plaza. So our elders w mobility issues had no problem getting to the second floor. Parking is free as well. The Meh: washrooms could be cleaner and should maintained throughout the night. Overall: absolutely will come again for another milestone event this year. This is my go to place now when I'm looking to host 3 tables of people (ie.30 people).“

“Been here many times and the kitchen has been consistent with the food. Price is fair for what you get and for the quality. Place has been around for quite some time and the interior shows. Place is clean but could have a refresh on furniture.“
“Very delicious Chinese chives dumplings(韭菜盒子) - extra large in size with al dente wrappings Lam fried. We liked it so much we even bought some frozen ones to enjoy at home. Lots of variations to select from. We saw many people coming in to buy the frozen dumplings this afternoon. Owner speaks English and Mandarin. Very authentic stuff!“

“So when you go in there, they give you a piece of paper and you build your soup. I picked the fish soup base with the seafood combo. I had a iced tea milk tea Fish puffs I was very full. I had it with rice noodles. I would like it a little bit saltier so I’d recommend asking for some salt. I will be back to try some other ones. I was very happy that my total meal just cost $24 before taxes and a tip. The guy was very helpful helping me pick the soup out.“
“- family run business - was highly recommended to this place and only ate there after the 2nd visit as lineup was too long - a food court place with just a few eateries in the Admiralty centre in Richmond - famed for wonton noodle , hainan chicken rice and hk style milk tea and iced lemon tea - there’s also crispy Chinese donut (油炸鬼&牛俐蘇) in the next stall - wonton noodle was crisp, springy and not soft and mushy and good size of wonton wrapped in shrimp and pork ) soup based was commendable - chicken is tender and the portion fairly sized - hainan chicken can be ordered in a set with rice , Chinese green - combination sets range from $11 with a drink - deep fried crisp fish skin is also a must try - was told that family sometime closes for trips - only stall in there with a lineup - very reasonably priced - we bought the deep fried fish skin home for the rest of the family to try and it was still tasty and crisp in the evening“

“This is such a fabulous dim sum restaurant which is really traditional whereby they roll the traditional Chinese food carts past all the tables like they did in the Golden days.

“During holidays and festivals, if you're planning to sample local delicacies with your family, Kirin Seafood Restaurant is an unmissable choice. The atmosphere here, with the whole family gathered around the table enjoying each dish, is sure to leave a lasting impression. The ingredients, whether from the sea or land, are incredibly fresh and delicious. The typical dishes from Hong Kong and various provinces are unforgettable. Parking is convenient, with both indoor and outdoor options. While the bill might be a bit high, the delicious food and the warm, harmonious family atmosphere make it all worthwhile!“

“I love this dim sum restaurant. I've enjoyed it twice, on two different occasions, while overnighting in Richmond on flight stopovers. Both times I went early in the day - just after they open at 10am. This time I thoroughly enjoyed the chrysanthemum tea with my meal. Staff is attentive and food is served hot and quickly. The food is excellent. The restaurant space is huge (lots of professional staff) and tables set with pristine white table cloths. On my stopovers I order enough food to try at the table and then I take the rest with me to enjoy on my flight. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Dim sum in bamboo trays on the average-to-low end. In contrast, high quality made to the order lunch dishes.
Ginger chicken steamed bun: 3 pc, small size, dough a little soggy, guessing they steam up factory made frozen buns.
Cod fish maw & vegetable in oyster sauce : Very tasty and good portion for the 3 of us!
Rolled rice sheet with fish filling : great! Unlike the more common choice of rolled rice sheet with fish paste, this dish has fish pieces and no deep frying involved.
Fried rice with diced chicken and salted fish: Great! Good portion.
Overall, I have reservation on the quality of their bamboo tray steamed dim sum. I appreciate the flavour in their made-to-the-order items. I had dinner here on the past and I remember it was very flavourful, and they have very attentive servers.“

“Quite contrasting experiences in the reviews. We went for dinner last night an hour before they closed. Upon entering we were warmly greeted with a sincere smile. We had a couple of questions about the menu and our server was helpful.
The food was delicious. The beef was so tender. Wonton soup was terrific. The place was clean. Both people we encountered were very friendly. We both left so full, almost bordering on discomfort.
We also visited a few years ago and had a good experience also. The date has a special importance to us and the food and service added to that memory. A little expensive.“
