“Amazing little place definitely a must try!!! The ramen is so fatty, flavourful and full of depth. Had the extra spicy miso ramen and shoyu ramen, both 10/10! The gyoza is also fantastic. The pork melts in your mouth and the service is great.“

“Had low expectation but the quality of the noodles was very good got an extra just to satisfy my cravings. I got the veggie ramen but surprisingly the broth had a heavy body which went so well with the broth.
If you like spicy definitely add the spicy chilly on the side.
Will try other locations as well a must try!“

“This is some really good ramen. I wanted to give it 4 stars for the lack of variety and toppings but it was just so good you really do not need anything else. Spicy level wasn’t spicy, i got it extra hot and spicy but I’d give it a 6.5-7/10 spice level.“

“I got takeout today (Aug. 27) and the food was PERFECT!!!! People rave about Ramen Danbo, but that place is mediocre at best.
I bought the creamy chicken black ramen for $16 (I tipped), which I THINK is the tonkatsu black ramen and it tasted SO DIVINE. I’ve been to Japan and all I ate there was ramen and I think this is the closest authentic Japanese ramen I’ve ever had. Noodles was perfect, broth, and chashu. I can’t believe this place is in a food court. I’d definitely get more takeout here.
They don’t take AMEX, which is fine. The service was incredibly friendly. Just the same service I used to get in Japan.
Not the place’s fault, but I was getting catcalled and there were few weirdos around because of the location (downtown East Hastings). Won’t stop me from buying here though!! Can’t wait.“

“Not a place to have a date. Eat and go.
Looks like el Bucco in Rome.
Excellent food. You maybe need to wait, you need to register in the waiting list, I didn't know so I waited the double of time.
Group of four, ask for the table, we needed to eat at the bar, not very confortable to have a conversation.“

“Came for the first time on St. Patrick’s Day. I ordered ramen and requested to remove veggies. I tried Yokohama Iekei Ramen & Karaage on my first time here. I ended up eating karaage without dipping the tartar sauce because it was better without any sauce.“

“Very flavourful broths, tender chicken and pork. Chicken Karage was so juicy but not oily. Worth the drive from Surrey.“

“Had a nice Friday dinner with my fam as we were yearning for some warm comfort food. We have ate at a lot of other ramen places and this place is one of the good ones. Their broth is so umami and their cha Siu and noodle package is so tasty and delicious. Only downside is we dish their bowls were a bit bigger. We had their Tori Paitan and Tori Shoyu ramen including their tomago rice dish which was smoky and delicious. Their gyozas were tasty as well. Highly recommend this ramen place if you’re looking for a warm and delicious bowl of comfort food ramen.“

“An absolute gem! Truly delicious food and great service, and it’s relatively inexpensive. What’s not to like? The regular portion is just okay, I’d honestly prefer it a bit larger if they had it. The only downside is limited seating, though the smaller setup probably helps keep the service excellent. Highly recommended!“

“We came here for dinner to order their spicy mazesoba, ramen, and pork gyoza. It was our first time to try mazesoba, so delicious. I can taste the grinded fish and minced pork was combined properly with a lot of spices. The runny yolk made the noodle creamy. You can add rice at the end to mix with the leftover spicy grinded meats. They offer upsize bowl for free.“

“Our server’s name was Koki and he was wonderful! He was very attentive and helpful with guiding us through the menu and recommending his favourite dishes and drinks. I got the premium pork ramen and he nailed it with the spice level recommendation. Highly recommend this establishment for ramen lovers!“

“Don't let the lines fool you, it's always long because comparatively speaking the place isn't that big. They even serve you miso soup and hot water while you wait outside. But given its location and the lack of any other solid ramen options (if we're excluding the Brentwood area), this is probably the best place to get a solid bowl of ramen by Metrotown.
They are quite creative in their appetizer department though. The Chicken Nanban is delicious, in particular the tartar sauce. This goes for their Gyoza with the lovely grated Yuzu topping. It's unique and helps cut out some of the umami from the broth. Texture wise, it's quite consistent with any other Gyoza or Chicken Karrage dishes you order at other ramen places. Don't sleep on their desserts, whether its the matcha ones or the ice cream, it's worth finishing up your dinner with something sweet and unique.
Just like Ramen Danbo, you can customize your ramen to your liking, broth, lard, charsiu style, and noodles. Service is quite fair but just be aware that your entire party has to be present to be seated. I think its worth up sizing for the extra $1 for like 50g of more food, but if you're ordering a bunch of appies then you might want to stick with the small size.“

“The service was really nice, the restaurant is a little small and there is often lineup. The $10 deal during September was really good value!! There is not much beef but it was very tasty and the quantity of noodles is a lot! Also they have garlic chips and other vinegar/oil to add. They were out of melon sofa so I got calpico soda and it had a lemon in it so u was surprised but it was pretty good! Not much ice cream in it though. There is a free ice cream at the end if you sign up for a free membership.“

“I’ve walked past this place plenty of times, located near T&T at the 1st and Renfrew complex, and I’m so glad I decided to finally try it. We ordered the Black Ramen with spice and it was freaking amazing. Rivals that of the ramen downtown! I’m genuinely so impressed. The broth is so rich with flavour and I’m a huge fan of the crispy garlic pieces on top! The Hamani Roll was also fantastic. It seemed a tad pricy at first but when it came, it was smothered with scallops and totally worth it. Would definitely order both again.“

“We could say one of the best ramen in Vancouver. Had low expectations before coming in because of the reviews saying it's not as good as before. But the broth is so goood and very generous serving for a cheap price compared to other ramen shops. All of us had our bowls for take out. The only thing that we didn't like is the scoop of garlic on top of the ramen. When I mixed it with the ramen, I just tasted garlic. Why do they put lots of garlic tho?“

“Conveniently located ramen restaurant, with lots of options. On my last visit I ordered the vegetarian ramen. It was really good and was the perfect portion size to leave you feeling satisfied. I loved the crispy lotus root, it added a nice texture to the soup. Great lunch option if you work nearby. Excellent service and great location“

“I will definitely get back here for more
The Sake Combo with Spicy Garlic Broth is perfect match.
The ramen has a rich broth and spicy as i ordered the Spicy Garlic Pork Ramen. Paris with the combo with hot sake is top notch.
The staffs are friendly, with their cultural greetings.
Their focus is the ramen menus only, and that is what i like so they concentrate more focus on the ramen taste.
Only just they have a quite limited space, but that is fine for me.“

“I visited this place after hearing great things about it. (I’m a big fan of ramen, but I don’t enjoy broths that are too greasy or heavy, and I’m also not fond of strong meaty flavors)
the broth here was delicious, and overall I was really satisfied. The server was kind, and the food was great. I definitely recommend this place.“

“Visiting from out of town and popped into this location for a taste of thier vegetarian ramen. Service was friendly and prompt during the 4:00 hour and seating was ample despite busy turn over. Many of the stools were combination storage for your coat, backpack, or handbag, very nice feature and use of space. No cash, card only option and phone scan menu was no-fuss easy order and payment. Portion size was good and the curry flavor for the vegetarian ramen was tasty, warm, and filling. Would visit again.“

“The ramen here is comparable to Ichiran Ramen. They use the thin noodles and it is cooked aldente. The broth is perfectly flavored, not too sweet. Everything about my Tonkotsu Ramen was perfectly harmonious. The charshui was the best I have ever had. No stinky pork smell and well marinated. The charshui was better than Ichiran Ramen for sure. I guess the only thing that was lacking was the atmosphere but when the food is so good it really doesn’t matter.“

“Came in for a quick lunch. Ample strip mall parking. Clean booth seats for eat-in customers. We were served complimentary hot broth with our food orders. Recommend the spicy kimchi and pork kimbap, and tuna kimbap. Ideal for takeout or a quick bite. Do not expect restaurant ambiance or service. Self-service food tray cleanup.“

“I ordered the aburi cheese curry and added pork for take out. It was a good size portion, but the aburi cheese made it too salty. The cheese just tasted like regular cheese, I was unable to taste the char on the cheese. I would have liked a tiny bit more sauce. This place is very well priced.“

“Their ramen is delicious! Usually we don’t eat ramen because their soup base is always very salty. But we gave it a try and loved the soup which is perfect and the ramen is crunchy. The charsiu is also cooked well. I love their Hokkaido ice cream the best. Wednesday is free for members. That makes it even worth it to eat at this ramen restaurant.“
