“We spent the weekend at Poets Cove for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful! This little cafe is the hidden gem of the Cove.Fantastic food, great service. A real treat compared 5o the rest of the experience!!Kid-friendliness: Ice cream for hot days!“
“Fantastically delicious food! Very friendly people and a lovely and interesting environment!! I highly recommend this restaurant and bonus … it is very close to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. We found this gem because we were too early for the ferry.“
“The food here is delicious! We had the Grand slam breakfast and the Country Omlette and I would recommend both! The homemade mango habanero hot sauce is addictive! But the real star of the show is the CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! WOW!!! Thank you for a great meal and wonderful experience!!“
“My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed Alexander's Coffee two days in a row! We ordered: a macchiato, a latte, the cinnamon bun, and the peanut butter crunch bar. They were all fabulous! The staff were also wonderful- friendly, courteous, & helpful!“
“Looking for a coffee shop before heading to the ferry, found this spot via google reviews. Located on the main shopping high street about 2 blocks from the quay. Sunday morning there was fresh baking and warm and welcoming staff. We had our usual Americanos, scone and muffin- all very good. Tables and condiment station were clean and well stocked. Decor is traditional British with quite a few royal commemorative plates and nicknacks. Great spot!“
“We had a fairly long wait for our meals to arrive, but the server (whom was very friendly and had great customer service) did acknowledge that a large group had come in just before us and also compensated on our bill (very nice of them, not a regular practice that I have encountered). I ordered the Coconut Lime Curry with chicken (you can choose chicken, prawns or just veggies) and it was frickin' awesome, I highly recommend!???“
“Contrary to the asinine review “Cricket Hartley” left, Quince cafe is wonderful and has some amazing staff. It is a shame people like cricket are so displeased with their lives they feel the need to tear others down, just look at their previous reviews! I have always enjoyed visiting quince and the service I’ve received. Thank you for all the hard work and love you contribute to the community.Vegetarian options: 10/10Kid-friendliness: 10/10Parking: 10/10Wheelchair accessibility: 10/10Dietary restrictions: 10/10“
“Once we are in the area of the Sidney we will step in Dakota Cafe !The food tasted good and also have several options to choose from.very large portions for the price, I would definitely recommend. The decor and ambience is also very nice, service is quite attentive. It is my favourite restaurant in Sidney!“
“We are regulars. Love the paninis; Roma and the Versailles with extra walnuts. Eat in yet mostly take out for us. Favourite pastries are the German Apple Cake; crunchy edges & corners or without, ASK for your preference. The Vienna Creams are exceptional! The pastry is best eaten fresh for crispy pastry yet are still delicious if eaten later. ASK for a box for take out. Both locations have friendly staff and quality food. The average wait for a panini is 15 minutes. I sometimes phone in my order, 15 minutes before I arrive then pay for the order and take it home. Kasey & Lou“
“The coziest loveliest cafe I’ve been to! The owner and the barista are so nice and make sure you feel at home. All the bakery items are made by the owner’s wife and are the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend going here if you go to the island it’s a must visit.I’m an Indian and have had dosas all my life and their dosas are definitely one of the best I’ve had.Vegetarian options: Their dosa is vegetarian“
