“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

“Had lunch omakase yesterday, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. The chef and staff were very friendly and talkative! I was delighted to try a new sake. I can confidently say this is the highest quality omakase I’ve had in Vancouver—better than the two Michelin-starred Japanese restaurants I’ve tried before. The only thing I think could be improved is that the flavors were a bit on the salty side. If they were a touch milder, it would better highlight the freshness of the ingredients. We also celebrated our anniversary here, and the staff were kind enough to take a photo for us.“

“The place is amazing. I love this noodle soup the most out of all the places in this food court. The people are friendly. And they make the noodles fresh.

“Technically, this place is a Chinese herbal tea shop but a Chinese tea house. Anyway, I was here back in April, 2025. I suddenly felt very tasty and needed something refreshing and hydrating. I craved for sugar cane juice and this place had it. It tasted different from what I grew up with in Hong Kong. Not as sweet, but it did the job. I felt refreshed and hydrated right away. It is way healthier to have Chinese herbal tea than bubble tea.“

“A traditional-style wonton noodle restaurant, especially one with such a long history in Vancouver.

No doubt, the wonton noodles are excellent 👍👍👍. Especially the texture of the noodles, it is like the taste in our childhood. Of course, that’s not referring to the portion size. Although this is a standard size in Asia, some people in North America may find it too small.

The service is about average for a Chinese restaurant. Don’t expect the kind of service you would receive at a high-end steakhouse.

“Honestly for a food court place I didn’t know what to expect. But it’s pretty good. Had low expectations but the congee and the rice noodles were so well made. The congee wasn’t watery, perfectly flavoured, no shortage of ingredients inside and the rice noodle was very well made. Good QQ and the amount of meat is very good for what you pay. I like to think of this place like Chinese tapas.“

“Solo weekend dinner, last time came to Redbud was before COVID, someone reminded me of this place, and it was really good.

The tomato soup was just ok, nothing stands out.

The black pepper sauce of the 2 meat combination was very flavourful, meat and veggies were good too

The baked pork chop tomato sauce rice was very flavourful too, you can actually taste the tomatoes, ketchup maybe? But I liked it.

Staff was friendly too

“The duck it is warm not hot but so tasty skin was crunchy and sauce was amazing.

Singapore noodles was a huge helping and not to salty just right on seasonings.

Chicken fried rice was delicious and huge helping as well

Spring rolls I was like whoaaa there was 12 or more I couldn't believe it

Overall bill was about $115 but so worth it I'll definitely be back.
