“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.“

“The best price for high quality food in Richmond,Loved the decorations of the restaurant.lots of free parking places. Very friendly staff provided a decent service. My wife and I were enjoying being there for lunch at least 4 times per week since 2020. We rated 5 stars and 2 thumbs up..“

“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

“Ai-Boiled Restaurant at Aberdeen Square is a hidden gem for anyone who loves customizable hot pot with rich, satisfying flavors. What truly sets this spot apart is their incredible in-house made soups — they are fragrant, flavorful, and crafted with care. Whether you prefer mild or spicy, the broth options are well-balanced and allow the fresh ingredients to shine without being overpowering.
The concept is simple and fun: you pick your ingredients from a wide variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu, and noodles, and they cook it in the broth of your choice. Each bowl is built exactly the way you want it, so it’s perfect for both picky eaters and adventurous foodies. The quality of the ingredients is high, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
One of the standout broths is their spicy mala, which brings authentic Sichuan heat without being overwhelming. For something gentler, the mushroom and tomato bases are both hearty and deeply comforting.
The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and efficient. Service is usually quick, and staff are friendly and helpful when it comes to explaining the ordering process. It’s a great place for a solo meal, a casual lunch with coworkers, or even a low-key dinner with friends.
Overall, Ai-Boiled delivers consistent quality, excellent value, and a truly satisfying hot pot experience. If you’re in the Aberdeen area and craving warm, delicious soup made from scratch, this spot is definitely worth a visit.“

“Had lunch omakase yesterday, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. The chef and staff were very friendly and talkative! I was delighted to try a new sake. I can confidently say this is the highest quality omakase I’ve had in Vancouver—better than the two Michelin-starred Japanese restaurants I’ve tried before. The only thing I think could be improved is that the flavors were a bit on the salty side. If they were a touch milder, it would better highlight the freshness of the ingredients. We also celebrated our anniversary here, and the staff were kind enough to take a photo for us.“

“Google review shows 4.1 for this place. Joke? lol. Where I came from, this is very authentic Suzhou / Shanghai cuisine. At par with those high quality restaurants in Shanghai. Three days in a row dine in here, food quality is very consistent and no single entry was disappointing! Keep up the good work 桂! See you next when I am back.“

“Highlight is definitely the portion sizes - huge servings and tasty too for great prices! Great service as well, as we walked in close to last call (around 35 minutes before closing) but were greeted with nothing but smiles. Our server/host helped us cash in a BOGO deal when we ordered without realizing, so that was amazing as well. They had delicious coconut jelly on the house too; loved the experience (and food) here.
Late night parking is easy (lots of empty parking lot and street parking spots) but may be harder during the day.“

“Wow, these portions are huge! The service is fantastic, and the taste is seriously addictive. Plus, it’s super affordable. I’m a huge fan and can’t recommend it enough! For example, just one order of fried rice is enough to keep you going for two meals. It’s a fantastic deal!“

“Honestly for a food court place I didn’t know what to expect. But it’s pretty good. Had low expectations but the congee and the rice noodles were so well made. The congee wasn’t watery, perfectly flavoured, no shortage of ingredients inside and the rice noodle was very well made. Good QQ and the amount of meat is very good for what you pay. I like to think of this place like Chinese tapas.“

“This was my first time dining at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience! We ordered the chicken and black mushroom congee and beef brisket wonton noodle soup. Both were delicious and packed with flavour - I highly recommend! We also tried the chicken wings and pork taro spring rolls on the side. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy, yet juicy on the inside, and the spring rolls were my favourite!
The service was exceptional as well. Every staff member was incredibly welcoming, polite and attentive. I'd be super excited if they opened up a location in Toronto :)“

“Good value, clean, washroom is a step up compared to MANY Rmd eateries, consistently decent standard HK canteen styles, vast selections of it is hard to pick. Had a way better steak/shrimp plate than Cactus/Kegs just two days ago. So, yeah, let's not pull out the Michelin lense for a community restaurant that's trying to balance affordability and decency. P.S. they still provide 12% tip option which many places no longer do. Oh, and no Credit card accepted only cash or debit or WeChat/Alipay, cheers.“

“Bright and modern looking decor with good service. They've got meat skewers you cook in the hotpot that's very unique in BC. Food and hotpot broth quality is good, low msg, especially the pork bone broth. Overall a fun hotpot place, especially if you are already in Aberdeen Center.“
