“Great piping hot crispy coated halibut & chips. Super friendly server/waitress. March 12/2023“
“Delicious food prepared in Cheffy’s own kitchen, good selection of British food, very convenient when cooking isn’t an option, great variety, inexpensive (the fewer visits to the supermarket, the more the savings), the menu changes each week and friendly, helpful staff. Hint: Their delicious scones, with a different variety every week, are very popular and sell out quickly, so it’s a good idea to order them early in the week. 🥮“

“The food was fantastic, the view was gorgeous. The service was friendly, and our server was super sweet. We almost didn't try here because of some complaints on Google, so I wanted to share our experience. I feel some areas of improvement needed here are the time it takes to get a menu and drinks, and you should always be given salt and pepper (or it should be on table already), not have to get up and ask for it. If it was really busy, that is understandable, but this was at 1130am on a Monday. It was quiet. Would still come back as these things (that others also pointed out) are easily fixed with awareness and training. The food, location, and friendliness are plenty of reasons to come back. :)“

“We had such a great time at afternoon tea! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The tiered tray was both pretty and tasty, with a nice mix of little sandwiches, scones, and sweets. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully put together. The tea selection was fun to explore, and our server gave us helpful tips on what to try. Nothing felt rushed—we could just sit, chat, and enjoy the afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed but still special, the kind of place you'd want to bring a friend or loved one for a treat. Overall, it was such a nice way to spend the afternoon. Would definitely come back“

“The coffee shop at the Butchart Gardens is a decent spot to grab a bite and have a drink of coffee.
It wasn’t something spectacular, but it got the job done. Me and my girlfriend needed a little bit of energy after the ferry ride to the island, and this did the trick.
My main complaint though? It is pretty expensive, considering the already high price of entry to the garden itself.“

“After a busy morning at the Gardens, my husband and I and our friend stopped here for lunch.
This place is kind of like a cafeteria. Some things you carry back to your table on a tray but other things, like the entrees, are brought to your table.
My husband and I each had the Seafood Chowder with fresh bread and a salad. We had been eating so much this trip we decided to go healthy. But we threw our good intensions into the wind by sharing the Wildberry Trifle.
Our friend had the pasta.
Everything was well prepared, well presented and excellent.
This is a sheltered restaurant that protects you from the sun, but it's open too, so there's a gentle breeze. Lots of plants everywhere of course. Great surroundings for your meal.
The service and staff are excellent.“
