“Had dinner, beef soup pho and lemon grass chicken sandwich, best Vietnamese sandwich, very good. Will be back to try out some lunch options. Jimmy“

“The pho is perfect~ that balance of savoury and almost sweet so you don’t want to add any hoisin or sauce. I had the beef brisket, which was tender and flavourful. Today, I made not ordered a side dish to test and was treated just as well as people around me with larger orders.
Food came quickly, with a perfect sized cup of tea, and everything is clean and well-cared for. I’ve been looking for a new place since my favourite out by the PNE closed and I finally found it, close to home!“

“I’ve been searching for a place that makes good Miến măng vịt (noodle soup featuring glass noodles, duck and bamboo shoots) here in Surrey after Pho An had closed its doors. And let me tell you that this place knocked it out of the park. Broth was full of umami and the duck was extremely tenderrrrrr! We also tried the Squid Noodle soup which was also a home run.
Just an FYI, it’s located in a sketchier part of Surrey. IYKYK. Just park, put your blinders on and walk into the restaurant. 🙈“

“This is strictly a take out place. We got two different bahn mi sandwiches and the sugarcane juice. So good. A lot of people came for pickups, so i'll order ahead next time. But the bread was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The meat and ingredients were fresh and well balanced. The place was clean and they sold frozen food too.“

“It's like getting to travel to Vietnam and enjoying the best meal for $20. I always remember getting overly full since this was my best friend's favorite restaurant and today the same tradition happened thanks to the durian smoothie 😋🥤🍜“

“The owner at Minh Cafe is honestly such a gem. He’s super passionate about doing things right and never takes shortcuts. The banh mi bread is made in house and you can really taste the difference. The Kouign-amann is absolutely delicious, not too sweet, with beautiful caramelization and layers that make it such an amazing pastry. The coffee is just as special since the beans come from the owner’s family farm in Vietnam, and the robusta blend made the best egg coffee I’ve ever had. It was perfectly balanced and the egg custard was smooth, light, and not too sweet. You can tell the owner truly cares about quality and doing things the proper way, which is so rare these days.“

“It is a very busy place. Very good pho at this place, big portion, nicely cooked and super affordable. Plenty of free parking outside as well. The only suggestion is, maybe consider having more smaller tables rather than different groups of people sharing one big table together, kind of wired. There is still a lot of space in the restaurant can see.“

“This is my new fave Viet restaurant in Surrey. It's a bit hidden but worth visiting as all their dishes are homemade. Very bright and colourful inside. Carol was our server and she was so warm and welcoming.
Some items I recommend:
Guava lemonade: new on their menu, I loved the citrusy guava flavour, it was so refreshing
Crispy taro spring rolls: I haven't seen these anywhere else and the batter was light and flaky.
Short ribs & steak pho: this bowl was huge with
so much meat and the short rib fell off the bone. I also love how clean their pho broth is.
Chicken glass noodle: this is my fave dish and there's no carbs! Again the broth tasted clean with lots of garlic. It tasted so healthy with strips of white meat and lots of green onion. I would order this on a cold day or when I'm sick.
Deep fried banana: new on their menu, this tasted just like the one I purchased from a street vendor in Vietnam.“

“Great place. I live in Fraser Heights, and this has become my new go to restaurant. Comfortable and clean with a reasonable wait. Hard to find something better or even similar, especially in this price range and with the big size portion they offer.“

“If you're looking for a crash course in authentic Vietnamese home cooking, skip the usual pho queue and head here. Pho Hoa Hong isn't playing the greatest hits; they're serving up genuinely rare, traditional flavors.
We went deep on the menu: Fish in Sour Soup (Canh Chua Cá), Caramelized Pork (Thịt Kho Tộ), and Caramelized Fish (Cá Kho Tộ). The flavour profile of the Canh Chua was spectacularly authentic.
Woven into the authenticity is an impressive efficiency: we pre-ordered 30 minutes out, and the food was waiting for us, perfectly hot. Be warned, the portions are wildly generous. We ate until we needed a nap and still bagged enough leftovers for an entire extra adult meal.
Verdict: Come for the rare, authentic dishes; stay because the portions are trying to feed a small army. Highly recommended for a genuine taste of Vietnam.“

“Tasty authentic Vietnamese food. I love their Bun Bo Hue. I've taken my aunts and uncles, who were visiting from Vietnam, to this restaurant for Bun Bo Hue and every one of them have been impressed with the flavour of this dish. Highly recommend!“

“Best pho in the lower mainland. Owner has a real passion for cooking and creating unique flavours. You can tell he puts his heart into it. And also, very friendly staff. Try the #17 hot & sour“
“Very nice owner. My son bought a sandwich but didn't realized that there is peanut sauce in it which he is mildly allergic for and didn't ask about it prior ordering. The owner lady made him an extra sandwich without it for free of charge. Sandwiches are pretty tasty and crunchy, would definitely return.“

“I came back again after so many years. The bowl is big with reasonable price compared to other Pho place.
The server speaking Vietnamese was very nice and gentle with us. She offered us if we want to soak the bean sprouts with hot water (which is something very popular in Vietnam, but very rare here in Canada => that makes me reminisce of the time I ate Pho back home in Vietnam).
The Pho broth tasted good, special Pho has so many meat types inside which I really enjoy!
Definitely recommend this place!“

“They have been open near my house for 5 years and I just tried it and it was so good they have found a new returning customer. The bread was nice and toasty and the meat was juicy and tender. Highly recommend giving them a try if you have not already“

“Great Vietnamese food, atmosphere, service, and prices! I visited for the first time today, coming all the way from Richmond. I tried the shrimp paste on the cane sugar stick, the deep-fried squid with spicy salt and pepper, and two noodle soups. The portions are generous, especially the meat, which I haven't seen this much of in a long time. Highly recommended!
From a 35+ year Vietnamese food lover.“

“Hello there.. I had the salad rolls, the ones with rice wrapts, shrimp and noodles, and cilantro and they were excellent!!!, along with the tasty peanut sauce to go with it. I figured why not order the fried rolls and take them home. A wonderful snack for later on. This place is incredible with the food so fresh, you can experience the freshness when you walk into this lovely sit down restaurant. Service is great too! Keep up the good work Pho 99!!!!“

“I've been coming here for many years and it's still one of my go to places for Vietnamese food. The prices are fair and so are the portions. The service can be a hit or a miss depending on whos working. Last time my fiancé and I went, the server was awesome. I definitely recommend this place of you're craving something warm on a cold day. It looks like they're also testing out robots to help bring food to the table. I hope they use it as a tool and not a way to replace servers.“

“The food here was noticeably better than the other pho restaurant nearby. The establishment is bright, well maintained, and exceptionally clean. There is dedicated parking available, and the location is conveniently nearby from my home. Customer service was warm and attentive, and order arrived quickly.
Additionally, the area offers many other establishments to explore before or after your meal. Overall, I had a very positive experience 👍👌👏“

“Honestly, All About Pho serves some of the best pho in the entire Lower Mainland. The broth is rich and flavourful, the ingredients are fresh, and every bowl feels carefully made. Beyond the pho, several other menu items also stand out and are just as impressive.
If you’re a pho lover, this place is an absolute must-try. It consistently delivers great flavour, comfort, and quality—highly recommended.“

“People there are very nice and attentive. The food options are combination of authentic and added twist; both are delicious regardless. I love their savoury soup-based dishes (pho). Also, the serving portion of their plates (dish+rice) are excellent.“
