“The food was great , I ordered … R.3 which was rice with grilled lemon grass chicken with spring rolls .. however it is less juicy and a lil drier than what I’m used to from Pho 99 and other Pho restaurants.. the food was great though and nice … I’ll give it a 8/10.“

“This is a charming little spot with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. It’s not fancy or upscale, but it has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. My absolute favorite item here is the boneless chicken feet salad – it’s so delicious and unique. The only downside is that, for $28, the portion of chicken feet is a bit on the small side, which leaves you wishing there was just a little more of it to fully enjoy. But overall, it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy something different.“

“Best Bun Bo Hue soup in Surrey at this location. Bun Bo Hue = Spicy Pho Type soup served with bean sprouts and red cabbage.
Their regular Pho is just average here.
However if you have a larger party, try 5 kinds of beef. It's an amazing experience for your taste buds. It also comes with a numerous amount of veggies, so this might be a healthy option.
Sadly, if you come here close to 10am expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes for your soup. They claim to open at 10 but don't actually start heating up the soup until 10 so disappointing wait times here.
5 stars for the food quality!“

“Unbelievable! If you see the restaurant it is a typical hole in the wall. I'm always up for trying new things and to my surprise, the pho was really good! Expertly prepared and the soup was flavorful and fragrant. Ingredients were fresh and absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly and pleasant too. This was a happy find.“

“My favorite place to get Pho, it's my go to spot for lunch when I'm craving soup.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and most importantly they are fast. The food is consistent and it tastes exactly like the way it should be made.
The Vietnamese Sub is also great! And though they take longer I know that it's always freshly made.
My favorite take out order is the Lemon grass chicken rice. It's just very good.“

“I ordered a lemon grass chicken banh mi with a Vietnamese iced coffee
The baguette is very fresh but I’m not sure if I completely enjoyed the chicken here. I’m starting to learn that some places will make their chicken sweeter than others and I lean more towards the non-sweeter ones.
Everything else was good! The coffee was amazing! I’d probably go with a different type of banh mi here just to see the difference.
They were packed inside and had many take out orders so I’m guessing their other dishes must be good!“

“Update: May. 27, 2025:
3rd time back, this time for lunch with a friend, shared a couple more items:
Salad Rolls (Ham & Shrimp, 2pce) $10.99, DF Noodle with Lemongrass Chicken (or Beef) & Vegetable $18.75 and DF Chicken Dumpling (8pce) $11.99.
The dumplings have good flavour but don’t come with a dipping sauce, there is sarracha, hoisin and chili oil on the table.
The noodles were just ok, sauce isn’t super flavourful and heavy on the thickener.
Peanut sauce with the salad rolls was ok but I’ve had better.
May. 2, 2025:
Lunch today was our first visit as it has been recommended by locals and our previous go-to closed due to retirement.
We’re happy to be adding Super Pho into our rotation as pricing, portion sizing and flavour is very good.
We ordered our usual to do a comparison:
B5 Noodles w/rare beef steak, well done flank (L $15.99) and E5 Vermicelli w/lemongrass pork and spring rolls ($18.50).
Hubby who usually orders large, found the large phó too filling for him. The lemongrass in my vermicelli bowl was more flavourful than our previous go-to….and it came with 2 rolls instead of 1 for the same price at the former.
We were very impressed and look forward to trying more from their very large menu.
Located in a strip mall (Scott Town Plaza) with lots of parking .
All forms of payment accepted.“

“Best pho in the lower mainland. Owner has a real passion for cooking and creating unique flavours. You can tell he puts his heart into it. And also, very friendly staff. Try the #17 hot & sour“
“Very nice owner. My son bought a sandwich but didn't realized that there is peanut sauce in it which he is mildly allergic for and didn't ask about it prior ordering. The owner lady made him an extra sandwich without it for free of charge. Sandwiches are pretty tasty and crunchy, would definitely return.“

“It wasn't bad. Broth was tasty. Service was good and quick. First time eating there, I don't eat alot of pho. But the oho i have eaten is usually nice and hot. The noddles are served on the side at room temperature. When you add them in and then add the bean sprouts in the whole thing is room temperature and no longer hot. This was disappointing for me. However I qucik 90 seconds in microwave made it better. Also i needed to have my own bowl to mix everything into. Seems like they could just buy big plastic bowls to solve this issue. After it was hot the only problem was the extremely chewy beef. I Will go back and try the Bahn mi sub and add it to review next time. Over all it wasn't that bad cause it all tasted good. That's why 4 out of 5“

“We tried a variety of items during Happy Hour to get a sense of what kinds of foods are served. Fun to eat all the appetizers with some great dips and really enjoyed the lemonade with mango stars. Main dishes looked mostly like soups with meat, so we tried some salad rolls which was great.“

“Hands down one of the best Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had! The pho was incredibly flavorful — rich broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs that made every spoonful perfect. I also tried the banh mi, and it was the ideal mix of crunchy, savory, and spicy. You can tell the food is made with care and love. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Fast service, clean space, and seriously amazing food. This place is a hidden gem — I’ll be recommending it to everyone!“

“I was very nervous about trying out this Restaurant, located inside the same space as the T&T in the mall. I wasn't sure about how good a restaurant located in an area like this might be. I'm very happy to say I was completely wrong to be nervous. This Pho is some of the most delicious in the area, and offers very good portion size for the pricing. The fact it's located in the mall gives it an edge on other similar restaurants in the area, as you don't have to leave in order to enjoy a bowl. I heavily regret that I hadn't given it a chance earlier, and I hope that others might read this and do so. If the owners do read this, thank you for proving me wrong, and I can't wait to return again!“

“Super reliable, consistent, and delicious Phø restaurant. I have been going here for years and it's definitely an inviting place for regulars, fast or slow eats, family, friends, or solo for a hungry meal. It's not a pretentious place, family-owned I believe, and the servers are kind and have been there since opening (assumed family).
Overall gets a 5 because of what the food is and what it's worth, food gets 5 star, service gets a 4, not because service is not good but because it's not a place that represents an impressive concierge service , and the atmosphere gets a 4 because it is simply casual (which I like) but it was not made to wow a critic or to impress your In-laws (unless they're coupon mamas from Asia, in which they might be taken aback by your taste in the balance of your food and wallet).
Love this place, and will come back again and again.“

“Excellent taste of banh mi with variety of options. We had the Deluxe and Beef Satay; both were delicious and filled with butter, pate and meat heaven. The pickled daikon and carrot added a special sour layer to banh mi and tasted very homemade. It's take out only but there is some outdoor seating.
Each of our banh mi cost around $8.xx and made two meals since I could only finish half a load each time. They sell marinaded meat packages (that are used in their banh mi like satay beef, lemongrass chicken), cha lua and frozen bao buns. If you register to their rewards then it's 10 banh mi for 1 free. Did I mention their branding and packages were adorable? I love the mini banh mi washi tape kk ?
Definitely a come back for me ?“

“Hello there.. I had the salad rolls, the ones with rice wrapts, shrimp and noodles, and cilantro and they were excellent!!!, along with the tasty peanut sauce to go with it. I figured why not order the fried rolls and take them home. A wonderful snack for later on. This place is incredible with the food so fresh, you can experience the freshness when you walk into this lovely sit down restaurant. Service is great too! Keep up the good work Pho 99!!!!“

“I ordered the steak and fatty brisket phò and I must say, this place serves a comforting bowl of beef noodle soup. The broth was tasty with a generous amount of fresh vegetables on the side, it was perfect for the cold weather. The fried rolls were a good compliment to it, just make sure to dip it in their vinegar sauce and chili sauce for that extra yum. The hubby ordered the lemongrass pork and vermicelli bowl and it was flavourful too. Serving portions can be good for sharing. Also had a freshly blended avocado shake to go. Overall, it was a good lunch.“
