“We went on a Friday night at 6pm with reservation, we ordered Tiger prawns, pork cheek don, grilled octopus, seafood congee, and crème brûlée. Food was delicious but the portions are on the smaller side. Overall, the vibe was great but because we were sitting right beside the kitchen, all my clothes and hair smelled greasy after.“

One of the best noodle soups I've ever had. Certainly the best beef noodle soup I've ever had. Gosh it was so fricken great.

I could write a bunch about how amazingly flavourful the broth was, how utterly tender the beef was, and how stringy and scrumptious those noodles were, not to mention the glorious pickled veg on top which may have been celery, oh and the chili paste which was simply unreal and packed a mighty punch.

Instead I'm just gonna reiterate that this is the best beef noodle soup ever.

Come, get the soup, go to food heaven and be grateful.“

The menu is displayed on sleek screens, making it easy to read and understand how to build your own pokerrito, bowl, or dish. There's plenty of seating and paid street parking available. Unfortunately, the 'rice printer' malfunctioned, which caused a delay in my order, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food tasted great, although they were out of avocado that day. Every ingredient felt fresh and delicious.“

“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year.The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food.The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“

“A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.

The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!

There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!“

We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. “This place is an absolute gem. I went on a Thursday and got the curry fish on rice with potatoes/peas and kidney beans. You get two veg curries along with one meat option is how it works. You can get a half order or a full order. I got a full order. The fish is only available on Thursdays. I knew it was Salmon once I tasted it and the kind gentleman who took my order told me it's in fact wild pink salmon. Tasted amazing. The order also comes with a pappaddum. Nice touch. Priced very fair for what you get. Excellent salt and spice levels. It's like a home cooked meal. Will be back.“

“I used to live in Vancouver but moved away years ago. I always loved Toko and would eat here when I visited. I’m heartbroken they have closed their restaurant. I walked in today after being away about 3 years. They are still there making noodles but no yummy restaurant anymore. They were very nice and told me they closed to the public during Covid. “My husband brought me here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He was recommended to come by a friend and we were glad we came.

The owner was so nice and had messaged my husband with recommendations of dishes to try (some of which were not on the menu).

All his dishes were amazing and so delicious. As he is the only chef, dishes took a while to come out but we did not mind the wait at all. The server was nice and tended to us when we needed anything.

It was definitely worth our trip to downtown for this restaurant. Highly recommended!!“

I am not the biggest fan of sushi per say so it allows me to try the other items on the menu and I love it. The staff is amazing, super friendly, fast, and efficient.
