One of the best noodle soups I've ever had. Certainly the best beef noodle soup I've ever had. Gosh it was so fricken great.

I could write a bunch about how amazingly flavourful the broth was, how utterly tender the beef was, and how stringy and scrumptious those noodles were, not to mention the glorious pickled veg on top which may have been celery, oh and the chili paste which was simply unreal and packed a mighty punch.

Instead I'm just gonna reiterate that this is the best beef noodle soup ever.

Come, get the soup, go to food heaven and be grateful.“

“I loved this Pokerrito location! The space is modern, spacious, and clean. The menu is displayed on sleek screens, making it easy to read and understand how to build your own pokerrito, bowl, or dish. There's plenty of seating and paid street parking available. Unfortunately, the 'rice printer' malfunctioned, which caused a delay in my order, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food tasted great, although they were out of avocado that day. Every ingredient felt fresh and delicious.“

“My friends tried the Braised duck, Tomyum and they loved it. Mine was the Curry and i enjoyed the first half of the bowl, after that it just a little too creamy and fill me up pretty fast even tho im still not full. Their Thai tea is good too and it came out pretty fast.

The day i visited maybe there was something wrong with the ventilation but we can see smoke and smell heated oil. All our clothes cover with smell afterward too.

Pretty cozy place, works well with groups under 8ppl.“

“I had a privilege of having a private dinner at Don. What a memorable experience - from a custom menu to sake flights, you can tell there was so much thought put into everything. All the food was delicious, all having different flavour profiles and different textures that made you anticipating the next dish. The server's were all so attentive and friendly and checked in with us throughout. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Don for hosting us ..It will be a meal that I will always remember!“

beef tataki: steak slice was a bit thick, it will have a better texture if it was a thinner cut

Shanghai pasta: it was too spicy, ask for less spicy if cant tolerant spicy. A few clam shell were shattered which affected the overall experience.

Salmon Futomaki: tastes really good and I enjoy their cucumber so much

Assorted sashimi: fresh and tasty. I wish they use Shiso instead of Kale (just my personal preference)“

“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year.The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food.The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“

“A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.

The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!

There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!“

“Loved every minute of our dining experience here! The aromas upon entering this wee spot got us excited, the welcoming staff were lovely, and then...the food. We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!“

“Not a good experience! We ordered 2 main courses 1 duck 1 chicken The duck dish was half cooked, the toppings around were not tasty at all. The chicken dish came uncooked! We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. “It was a very good experience visiting this place. The staff is friendly, the burgers are delicious, and the combo is sized enough. I tried the mushroom one (I can't remember the name) in combo, fries are crispy and yummy, everything was delicious. Next time I'll try a milkshake. Also, they have a loyalty card, so after 10 burgers, you can get one free.“

I walked in today after being away about 3 years. They are still there making noodles but no yummy restaurant anymore. They were very nice and told me they closed to the public during Covid. “We love Irori Sushi! They have the freshest sushi and huge bento boxes for very reasonable prices. I am not the biggest fan of sushi per say so it allows me to try the other items on the menu and I love it. The staff is amazing, super friendly, fast, and efficient. You should definitely try the special sake that comes in a can. I would 100% recommend!“

“My husband brought me here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He was recommended to come by a friend and we were glad we came.

The owner was so nice and had messaged my husband with recommendations of dishes to try (some of which were not on the menu).

All his dishes were amazing and so delicious. As he is the only chef, dishes took a while to come out but we did not mind the wait at all. The server was nice and tended to us when we needed anything.

It was definitely worth our trip to downtown for this restaurant. Highly recommended!!“

“We were craving authentic Hong Kong comfort food. We found Angel Cafe hit the spot! We indulged in the Shrimp with Stir Egg Sauce over Rice Noodles and the Spicy Pork with Eggplant over Yi Mein. Each dish comes with your choice of soup (Russian Borscht, Chinese, or Cream) and a hot beverage (cold options available for an extra cost). So satisfying and generous portions meant leftovers.

It was a bit busy when we arrived about 7:30pm on a Friday. We were quickly seated to last available booth. Their menu is extensive to the point I did not know what to order. My go to is Shrimp with Stir Egg Sauce and it was done really well.

The decor seems a bit outdated and need of some renovation but it was clean. It's a dying breed for simple and good HK cafe in Vancouver.“

“This place was everything i needed for a quick dinner. The hard working couple behind the counter were friendly and nice. The food was tasty, especially the salad rolls. Ordered the chicken salad roll but the chicken portion was small.

Also had the lemongrass chicken plate that came with a heart shaped mound of rice. Very cute.

Food is tasty and warm but i was a bit disappointed to hear the usage of a microwave.

I will be back for those tasty salad rolls.“
