“Absolutely love this place. One of my go to spots! We had the Spicy Boat Noodles and the Hot and Sour Pork Noodles and they were both amazing. I think my favourite was the Hot and Sour one tho because it has a tanginess that’s just so unique and refreshing. I can’t recommend this place enough. It does have limited seating and it gets quite busy so just be prepared.“

“The restaurant is small but cozy with lovely modern decor. It could be a great date spot but because of the high ceilings and small space if there is a large group it can be very loud. Not really something the restaurant can help. I loved the acrylic poured tables and all the pace settings. The server was friendly and knowledgeable, even though there was only one server for the whole restaurant she was prompt and attentive. The food was beautifully presented and wonderfully delicious. The rice is flavorful and all the ingredients are perfectly prepared. Every bite was super yummy. It is a bit pricy for the portions but I appreciate the portion size so you can actually have appt, main and dessert and the quality is worth the price. The price point changes it from a regular spot to a special occasion venue.“

Sukiyaki is juicy and has lots of flavor. Best food to enjoy when it is raining. It fills you up.
Tonkatsu is very crispy outside but juicy inside. In korean we say “겉바속촉“.

Great service as beautiful server helps to light up sukiyaki and gives great explanation about the food (how to enjoy the food, what goes well with the food)“

“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year.The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food.The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“

“A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.

The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!

There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!“

We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. “This place is an absolute gem. I went on a Thursday and got the curry fish on rice with potatoes/peas and kidney beans. You get two veg curries along with one meat option is how it works. You can get a half order or a full order. I got a full order. The fish is only available on Thursdays. I knew it was Salmon once I tasted it and the kind gentleman who took my order told me it's in fact wild pink salmon. Tasted amazing. The order also comes with a pappaddum. Nice touch. “I used to live in Vancouver but moved away years ago. I always loved Toko and would eat here when I visited. I’m heartbroken they have closed their restaurant. I walked in today after being away about 3 years. They are still there making noodles but no yummy restaurant anymore. They were very nice and told me they closed to the public during Covid. I hope the restaurant comes back!“

“As an absolute food crazed individual I have to say Chef Han's restaurant Kosoo + Raw Bar is one of my favourite restaurants, here and abroad, so far. “My husband brought me here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He was recommended to come by a friend and we were glad we came.

The owner was so nice and had messaged my husband with recommendations of dishes to try (some of which were not on the menu).

All his dishes were amazing and so delicious. As he is the only chef, dishes took a while to come out but we did not mind the wait at all. The server was nice and tended to us when we needed anything.

It was definitely worth our trip to downtown for this restaurant. Highly recommended!!“

“We love Irori Sushi! They have the freshest sushi and huge bento boxes for very reasonable prices. I am not the biggest fan of sushi per say so it allows me to try the other items on the menu and I love it. The staff is amazing, super friendly, fast, and efficient. You should definitely try the special sake that comes in a can. I would 100% recommend!“
