Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches and possibly the world’s best ricotta pancakes - they’re to die for. And in the evenings Hunnybee puts on taco and wood fired-pizza nights with a lively atmosphere. Small wonder that the place has a dedicated customer base.“

“Annabelle’s is one of my favourite cafes ever!
The interior is beautifully decorated (designed and built by Annabelle and her partner I believe), and the coffee is delicious, I loved the iced americano! The hojicha latte my friend got was also really good, saying this as a hojicha hater. The pastries were also yummy, especially the guava goat cheese hand pie.
I arrived around an hour before closing on a rainy day so it was pretty slow and had the opportunity to chat with Annabelle! She is so lovely and you can tell that all the regulars love her!
I highly recommend coming to Annabelle’s if you are in the area!“

“Everything was absolutely amazing at this cafe. I had some baking goods and drinks which was the grapefruit ade, scones, basque cheesecake, and an americano. All of them were very tasty making me eat all of them in seconds by its mesmerizing visual with an amazing taste that was all balanced. The turkey sandwich was crispier and less heavy than the veggie sandwich. The veggie sandwich bread was on the softer side. But both are delicious! The portion size was ok, I did ended up eating two. The Spanish latte was also really good! And the staff was super friendly and nice. Overall, it had a vibrant and cozy environment with bright lighting. Lots of plugs too. Highly recommend! It was our first time visiting ‘Their There’.
If I was to only be rating my experience on the food then ‘Their There’ would get 5 stars! The atmosphere is also great! The service staff are very friendly and professional. I am sure they were trying to do their best but I had to give 3 stars for the service, based on the poor table reservation experience we had. We had put our names down and given a phone number for an estimated 30-minute wait. We went around the corner to the street parklet area to relax and wait. It was around 30 minutes when we got the message to say that our table was ready. That was great. When we got back to the cafe, the server told us we’d need to wait 5 more minutes. That was fine with us. Except it wasn't 5 minutes. In fact, after about 10-12 more minutes we decided to ask the host what was going on. She apologized and told us it would be a few more minutes as the previous customers had settled up but hadn't left the table yet. It was roughly another 8 minutes before we finally got to sit at the table. In all honesty, most of our frustration came from just being hungry. We remained patient and friendly throughout this experience but I felt that the situation could have been avoided and it would have made our visit to ‘Their There’ much more enjoyable. That said, because the food was so fantastic, it helped to redeem the overall experience. ‘Their There’ is certainly worthy of getting a 5-star rating but for the reasons outlined, I gave them a 4-star rating overall. We’ll definitely go back!“

I’ve always liked this place, but this visit felt extra special because of the snow—fewer people, no long lines, and even a table available to sit back and relax. The ambiance and layout are well-designed, making it a great place to unwind.

I tried their matcha, americano, hot chocolate, and mocha. While the drinks and croissant were good, they didn’t particularly stand out, especially in Vancouver, where coffee shops are really stepping up their game. Still, if I’m in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again.

“Ordered an iced americano and the three-cup chicken to go. Service was amazing, the gentleman behind the counter had such uplifting positivity- it really brightened my mood. After a short wait with my coffee, my meal was ready and the staff member behind the counter informed me that they still had many baked goods from this morning left over (it was 1:30pm) he asked if I would like anything. The doughnuts looked quite tasty so I said that I would have one of those and took out my wallet. He said he wanted to give it to me for free and would not accept my money. I felt bad as I had not tipped for take out. I will definitely return and tip next time to return the favour. Amazing establishment would give it more than five stars if it were possible.“

Served on a thinly sliced and well toasted English muffin, it was easy and satisfying to take a bite unlike other sandwiches where you’re fighting tooth and nail (literally) to rip off a chunk.“

“Without fail every time I have stopped in to pick up a muffin, or an almond croissant or anything else I've ordered, I have been really pleased with the quality and care that goes in to the food. It's delicious! The staff are very friendly and are quick to serve you at the counter. If they will be a minute they will let you know. They don't ignore you until they are free. For me the almond croissants are out of this world. I do not hesitate to recommend this little cafe for a quick bite and coffee if you're on Davie Street or nearby. Excellent place.“

“The place could use a refresh on the decor. I find it a little too dark for me even in the afternoon.
Overall, staff are always consistently friendly and always have a smile on their faces even when they are busy.
I come here in the winter months because they use real egg nog and 3 shots of espresso in my egg nog latte.
