“The atmosphere was adorable. The service was some of the best I’ve experienced. We had a lovely conversation with the owner and he was absolutely fabulous. The food was to die for. Absolutely worth the price. Cooked to perfection. My foodie soul was overly satisfied. My picky husband couldn’t have been happier. “I have been here many times, it’s a local business and they do an absolutely fantastic job.

I can’t get over how good the service is, They really make you feel like they want you to have a great day.

As for suggestions, the club sandwich is probably the best sandwich you’re going to have this month, I promise you.

And they make it in front of you open kitchen style.

“My husband and I decided to try this place out.
It was last minute and our anniversary.
We were welcomed warmly at the front door, given a beautiful top window seat.
Then came this amazing young lady named Ria, we asked her what she would recommend for starters, and she didn't disappoint with that telling us about the hummus. Sooooo good!
I was also looking for a yummy blended cocktail, she recommend a pink lemonade type drink. I had 2.
She knows her stuff.
Ria checked on us often, however the shocker came when she came by at the end of our meal while waiting for our bill and told us she took care of my 2 cocktails for our anniversary, like who does that?
BTW she wasn't even our server, although our server was amazing.
She made our evening even more special.
Oh and the food was amazing, the staff was so fantastic.
We look forward to coming back, next time dessert first, then starters, then maybe mains lolol.

“👩‍🍳 If you haven't been to Haven Kitchen + Bar in Langley.... Put it on your list!!! Absolutely delicious. We had the Ohana Bowl and the Tomahawk Pork Chop And for dessert.... the PB & J Cheesecake Highly recommend and the staff are fabulous!“

“Our server was outstanding. We asked to be relocated to a table beside the window. He accommodated without a second thought. We reserved for turkey dinner which included butternut squash soup. My husband is lactose intolerant so he substituted a salad for him without us requesting any substitution. I asked for gravy on the side. The turkey dinner was delicious and plentiful. It tasted as if I had cooked it at home. I think we each had 5 slices of turkey on our plate, so took home leftovers for another dinner and maybe lunch too!“

Hostess left a bit to be desired, but waitress ( Esther ) more than made up for it. She was friendly, patient ( on carnivore diet so picking carefully). All delicious and heaping .
1/2 lb cheese burger with bacon and shrooms ( cheating ).
Buffalo wings
Chicken/waffle breakfast
Poutine fries ( not the best but superior to American and better than most others ).

“We went for lunch at the Derby Bar and Grill. We had lunch on the Patio which was lovely. The service was great our waitress was very pleasant and efficient. I ordered the Burger and steak fries which was delicious. My husband had the fish and chips and was very happy with his lunch. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place with excellent food and at a very reasonable price the Derby Bar and Grill is the perfect place to go. “Weekly we take my 97 year old Mother out for lunch. It is always challenging to find something for her to eat since she has tooth sensitivity issues. She LOVES Swiss/Broccoli cheese soup but it's not always available leaving us with few options. BUT a month ago we were informed that the kitchen staff CAN and WOULD be willing to blend other meals up into a soup like consistency making it easier for her to enjoy meals! WOW!!! What a game changer! Many thanks to the staff who recognize us and set up our place setting with smaller cocktail napkins, hurrying with Mom's HOT tea, etc. It sure makes taking her out so much easier! Special thanks to the manager Guy? and servers Jasleen, Sophie, as well as hostess Danae! SUCH FABULOUS STAFF!!!!“

“Went with a group of friends on a Friday night with no reservation and was seated right away.

Our server Jayme was knowledgeable and very helpful. Made excellent recommendations and was very prompt and polite with her service.

The food was quite good. We shared a variety of appetizers, which were all fantastic, and our mains were hot and delicious. I had the Caramelized banana creme brulêe and I definitely didn't regret that decision.“

Did you know that the hash browns are bottomless? Lived here our entire lifetime and was never told this. So let's talk about our server ... Olivia was absolutely delightful. She was polite and kind. She stopped in often to check in for coffee and hashbrown refills (btw who told us about the refills on the taters!!). She was easy to talk to without any kind of pressure. We even laughed over a story about Dave Matthews Band! The overall experience was positive and our interaction with Olivia alone would bring us back.“
