“Faction Brewing is a wonderful, local brewery! On a perfect day, enjoy a beer or cider on their patio overlooking the San Francisco Bay and city skyline. Catch it on a gloomier day and you can still enjoy a crafted beverage in their large indoor spaces. We host our annual donation drive here in the spring and the staff is always so fantastic. Highly recommend Faction Brewing!“
“First visit there and it's a really nice and chill spot, dogs and kids are welcome. It's down the street from the U.S.S. Hornet. I had the watermelon cider, which was very tasty and smooth. Also had some hot wings from a food truck outside which were excellent 👌“

“This was the last stop on our Oakland brewery tour and it did not disappoint! They had a good selection of their own brews and we went with the last great West Coast IPA we would have from our trip. The huge wooden doors to enter added some cool vibes and they had the cutest Golden Retriever roaming around being the bestest doggo. This place is a must if you’re in the area! They also had a cool back patio area that you can reserve.“

“We stopped in for a beer on our honeymoon and loved the upstairs area to play some fun games and sand shuffle board! The beers were delicious and they had great service. It was a warm day and the airflow wasn’t great upstairs or down so that’s the only negative but we’ll definitely be back for more beers!“

“Tucked away a bit off the beaten path in Southwest Berkeley, Cellarmaker is one of the gems of Bay Area brewing. IPAs are a specialty here and they are all interesting and consistently delicious, no matter what is on tap. Other great options include the Coffee & Cigarettes porter, plus really interesting barrel aged and sour beers from the Rare Barrel.
Pizza and other bar snacks/appetizers are very tasty, and the space is very chill and laid back, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
The only negative I can think of is that they aren’t open 7 days a week!“

“I love this place and their beer! I first had one at Alvarado Street Brew in Monterey, CA. They’ve got great sours and fruit forward IPAs for me and beer that tastes like beer for my BF. “Hands down the best spot to have a beer and talk with friends, neighbors, or strangers. It's not a large space, but always manages to have enough room to be more than comfortable. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a clean, minimalist look. The beer is stellar, and they always keep variety on tap. Hoi has become an anchor for the neighborhood.“

“Very good place to enjoy some quality variety of beers and solid grill menu. Really like the vibe of the place and the spot in town with some older style buildings rather than so many other modern and stake places. Burger and sausage plate were very good, and didn't take too long even on a crowded holiday.“

“Love this brewery for their amazing beer. So stoked when they opened this location last year. The pretzels, mustard, brats, pierogies and potato salad are fantastic. Great wines too. Can't go wrong here. Indoor and outdoor seating. Heaters on patio and great decor.“

“I had the Polish. I had the Vienna Beef. I had the Italian Beef. They dipped it for me. I had two beers. There's a certain grit that gets baked into the street food in Chicago that they don't have in this part of Oakland, but for the Bay Area this is about as authentic as it is going to get. Fantastic!“

“We went to two locations this weekend visiting from Portland & both were great! I have to rave about the service at the Barrel Room! On our way to the airport we made one last pit stop & the bartenders were AWESOME. Beer was fresh & delish. Building is dope. Lotsa kids really isn’t our thing but it’s so spacious you have plenty of room to vibe. Accidentally knocked my beer off the table & was rewarded for my bad behavior with a fresh brew on the house because accidents happen! So good. ? Will be back.“
“I feel pretty confident in saying that this is one of the best breweries I've ever visited. Every beer I tried was great and the food exceeded my expectations. I wish I had caught their names but the staff Saturday was excellent and parking was open and easy. Wish I lived closer but I'll certainly try to return anytime I'm back in the bay area.

“Went there for the sake tasting. I can’t believe it’s only $20 for 5 different sakes. There are optional ones you can add, I would avoid them if it’s your first time. You’ll get the full range and next time you can spend extra on the stuff you like rather than experimenting on some of the higher end ones.
The staff is extremely friendly, I am not super fan of sweet fruity sake, and they offer to change it for something else they recommended.

“So I had my first taste at two pitchers brewing company on my way home from my bachelor party. I sat at a long table with my four brothers and my father, and we ordered six blood orange radlers not truly knowing what that was. It immediately became one of our favorites. And a tradition of mine. Every year for my anniversary, I make sure I have two six packs of blood orange radlers with me on my anniversary. My wife and I both very much so enjoy them and I very much so enjoy reminiscing of that lunch with my brothers and my father. So thank you for making such an amazing drink. And cheers to many more years of tradition.“
