“Good food in a place that still welcomes the dine-in experience with a very well-kept dining area with a good street view and a surprisingly large amount of seating, including a window-facing bar for solo diners The burgers are a good value, larger than what you get at comparable burger joints, just not as fancy. Join the club for deals. Desserts are delicious, and basically, a single serving is a double portion, so therefore not a bargain. This place gets overlooked with all the fancier options nearby, but it's a good choice, especially if you want to sit down and be full without spending a lot.“

“The irony is don't eat here for their burger- I eat here for their teriyaki beef sandwich. It's is saucy and full of flavor. It's what I always get and I can't budge on getting anything else. The woman takes and makes your order so keep that in mind if you're time sensitive.“

“Our friends from Alameda recommended Saltbreaker. We made reservations for the next day. When we sat down, we hummed along to the 70's tunes while enjoying our red wine and cocktail. We ordered appetizers, main course, and dessert. All very enjoyable.“

“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“I never leave reviews, but we came here this morning with family from out of town and had the best time! Super cute, great food and service, not crowded, parking lot, and to top it all off - a live band!! Checked all the boxes and then some :) don’t let this one go Alameda!!“

“I’m new to Cali so it was my first time trying Jack in the Box, but I can honestly say this is my favorite fast food restaurant. The prices are little high, but the food is good when it’s fresh and hot!
I got the the double Jack burger with cheese, two tacos, fries and French toast sticks. I had to sample it all. The ladies at the counter were very friendly. It was a mostly clean restaurant—no one else dining in but me. The only thing though is the bathrooms at this location. Because of the homeless population it was very nasty. Other than that, this is one of the better locations I’ve been at!“

“It was a drive thru, so take the atmosphere rating w a grain of salt. As a vegetarian, I don't come here often, but I drive through the tunnel several times a day and there is only so long one can resist the scrumptious smell of fried onions and all of the animal style goodness.
So, I joined the long line and grabbed a grilled cheese animal style, along with some fries and a drink.
The guy taking my order was patient, friendly, and thorough. The person taking my money was cheerful and smiling. The person giving me the food double checked to make sure I was being given the correct order and was friendly and kind.
The grilled cheese and all of the toppings is hit the spot. The fries were on the salty side, and the drink had the perfect balance of beverage and ice.
If you eat meat, your experience will likely be better, since there are so many additional options.
Go on the earlier side or risk getting in line directly out of the tunnel (stay in the farthest right lane).
Enjoy!“
