“I’m so happy I got to enjoy such authentic hand-grabbed lamb here. The portions are very generous. I was about to order a few more dishes, but the owner kindly let me know it would be too much, I still want to try more items, definitely be back next time!“

“Really excited about this restaurant, one of the few Chinese American restaurants serving refined Chinese dish with a twist. We were seated immediately once everyone in our party of 4 has arrived. It is an open kitchen concept so you could take a peek of the action from the dining room. We visited this place after it just made the Michelin guide list, so there was quite a buzz on that Sunday evening. The cocktail selections are great and tasty, interesting mixes of East and West. The sesame sourdough and the seaweed butter are excellent. The wagyu beef tongue carpaccio is a bit too saucy. The duck sausage meatball and the Poached scallops are good but nothing special. The Roasted fish, Grilled short rib and the fried chicken are amazing and well prepared and seasoned. However the Roast Pork is chewy and not very good. Vanilla sponge dessert is delicious.“

“Very good customer service and vibes I love the decorations and how clean it is. The ramen and potstickers were very filling and definitely worth trying. I keep coming back for the spicy tonkatsu ramen but the sushi was not very good especially for the price...
Another complaint I have is the chopsticks feel very cheap and hard to work with plus $2.50 for a can of coke isn't really something to look forward to with your meal
P.S. I'll definitely be back but I felt the need to give an honest review“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Akai Asian: A Must-Try 5-Star Experience!
[Disclaimer: This review is brought to you by a self-made professional food critic reviewer!]
From the moment I stepped into Akai Asian, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm, inviting ambiance and the sight of happy, cordial diners immediately set a fantastic mood. I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff, who guided me through their extensive menu—and wow, was I blown away by the selection!
For my first visit, I ordered the Chicken Bento Box, and it was easily a 5-star dish. It was a well-balanced masterpiece!
The box featured a delightful salad with corn, which was perfectly topped with a nice sesame seed oil dressing—it was incredibly savory and very tasty. It also included four delicious California rolls. Alongside these were some fried veggies and fried shrimp. They were very pleasant; not overwhelmingly greasy or heavy, but perfectly fried right to the bite. Lastly, the star was the delicious chicken served on top of fresh veggies and rice. Everything was perfectly prepared, showcasing the high quality and fresh flavors of Asian cuisine.
Akai Asian is a delightful setting with stellar service and truly exceptional food. I highly recommend it!“

“Cool spot to have beer and soju and Korean bar food. Inside is decorated with lots of kpop posters. It's a large space with plenty of seating. There's low tables in the middle and tables and booths on the side. Plenty of TVs on the wall to watch a game or playing kpop music videos. It's a good place for groups. It does get pretty loud in there though. The food is good bar food. I like the fried rice and wings.
Service was good. Friendly staff. You order on the tablets but you ask the server for the bill. There's street meters or a parking structure a few blocks away on Delacey.“

Squab Claypot rice also good.
Chicken mushroom Claypot was good we came back twice in a week!“
“I have tried many roujiamos at many places around LA and the one i had here was the best by far. In addition i had the liangpi which was also good. Sometimes at night i dream about going to this restaurant again and in my dream, im trying the other things on the menu. The owner is also the kindest person!“
“Best clubhouse and support group around. I love that they have a great homemade Thai food restaurant and wonderful people that work there, especially the men at the front desk.
Absolutely warm and loving place with tremendous support and meetings. 💕🤟

“Delicious food, Always good quality. I have been going here weekly for over a year. The only thing that is frustrating, is that their closing time is not accurate with what they have it listed on google, I’ve had doordash orders go through that never came in, and i showed up to the location to be denied.. 30 minutes before listed closing time.“

“The food here is exceptional. I’ve only had the fried rice, beef chicken, shrimp etc but it’s perfect, and I know because I eat this kind of food a lot and it’s noticeably better. You get a free egg roll and even soup if you want it. And after all that you’re getting a big discount per pound. This is one place where they might need to be told to raise the price to stay in business. It has a nice little at home feeling. It’s definitely flying under the radar so buy now before it’s too late! Oh yeah, and I remember asking for a second egg roll. On the house! They didn’t charge me, again.“

“Almuchow boasts of offering “Filipino comfort food” in Blossom Market Hall - and they have all the Filipino comfort staples on the menu such as chicken adobo, various versions of Pansit, and of course lumpia!
Since I adore lumpia I couldn’t resist grabbing an order - and I was not disappointed. Definitely a solid choice for lumpia in the area (it’s called Lumpiang Shanghai on their menu). The pieces are small but quantity is more than ample. And they come with a sweet/sour sauce.
The lumpia were nice and crisp on the outside and smooth on the inside with great flavor and not greasy. We also tried to order some chicken adobo but they were sold out - will have to try and catch it again next time bc it looks great.
Prices are reasonable and service was efficient and pleasant. We were a little bothered by the fact that the cook and other food handlers weren’t wearing gloves and were touching their faces and the money while also handling food - we almost didn’t order there bc of it but gave it a shot anyway lol. Otherwise everything was great.
Almuchow is towards the back of the market hall. Order at the counter and they’ll give you a buzzer. The vibe are lively and inviting with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you’ve finished your dinner. There’s plenty of free parking on site.“

“I dropped by to try the skewers. I ordered a pitcher of beer to go with them. I got the beef vessel, tendon and intestine as well as the lamb, pork belly and chicken gizzard. It was fun watching them rotate on the grill automatically. They have some games you can play to win prizes.
The service was good. I think there was mainly one person handling the tables and he was very efficient.
There's no parking lot. I had no issues finding free parking in the neighborhood.“

“This is a nice little cozy spot for parties of all sizes. The atmosphere is chill with super cool seevice by Min. We ordered a couple of lunch specials that satisfied our cravings. Since my party is super picky it’s good to know they offer a little bit of everything. Their Seafood Udon was very flavorful and perfect for a chilly day or any day at that. The Bento Boxes were also winners with presentation and flavor. Since the dishes were so good we also decided to try out their Seafood Udon which was nice and spicy and just right for our tastebuds. Everything we had was satisfactory and we will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. Again, a big shoutout to Min for making our experience a memorable one. So if you’re in the area and looking for a nice variety then definitely check this place out if you can.“

“Sandra and her husband are super sweet and friendly people. The restaurant is clean and organized. The food is delicious, I had their Khao Soi which is hands down the best I’ve had out here other than when I was in Chiang Mai and their Papaya salad I like to get extra spicy :P“

“Vegan review:
The food quality is really great. Tastes fresh and crunchy and its really good. I got the vegetable roll and it was good. Only reason for 4 stars is price. For what it is and where it is and how much was in the roll, especially it being only vegetables, it was quite expensive. I mean not too much but for the price a larger quality would be better.“

“Food is below average as far as HK cuisine in the area. Hospitality is definitely the most authentic HK you can experience though, i.e. service sucks but that's authentic HK experience for you. Ordered ice HK milk tea and it's all sugar taste. Order seafood noodles and noodle is bland but at least decent amount of shrimp and octopus.
5 stars though as most people only read 5 stars reviews. And also I suffered, you must too.“

“Visited in 2021 without a reservation and was luckily seated at the bar. The bartender was very hospitable. 13-course is a lot, but it's nice that you can eat at your own pace and the lemonade with alc-free beer combo beats the fattiness of wagyu(it does literally melt in your mouth.)“

“The food is priced on the expensive end, but that is to be expected for attraction food. Not that I minded anyway, because my entire meal was filling (the portion sizes are MASSIVE) and delicious. Well seasoned, served hot, and promptly arrived even during the height of a lunch rush. The atmosphere is unbeatable“

“Food was amazing. I ordered the pumpkin curry, flavor was great, default spice level was spot on for a pasty boy like me. Service was great. The location is a little odd but kinda adds to the charm. It always pretty quiet in there when I went so it's possible when there's more activity in the community center thing it could be a little less charming. I will definitely be coming back.“

“Plenty of seats. Extra like fifty cent charge for cards. Lady barely seem to speak english. Food taste a lil cheap. Got the mixed veg and fried rice. It was ok. Steam table food. The thing with these type of places is that the veggies taste clear/fake or something lol paid 15 with extra side of broccoli. Try it out if u will. Id go back last. Didnt taste like gmos or salty though.“
“Honestly, I just DoorDash this because it looked healthy and well balanced. And I’m so glad that I did! I got the protein packed bowl which had tofu, shredded chicken, and shredded beef and it was just pure deliciousness. I’m not really fond of tofu much, but there was so much flavor packed into each tofu bite. It was hard to not love and crave.
I also got the Wagyu bowl and that was equally as delicious!! Every bite is an addictive burst of flavor.“
“Muy buena comida y buena atención!💯“
“This is my new favorite hang out spot for popcorn chicken. The prices are very very good and drinks are decent though. The drinks are very sweet so make sure to adjust the sugar levels. Everybody and their mamas out here so it does get very busy so be patient. They only have 2 workers.“
“Great bakery tucked away in a small trip mall on Las Tunas and Mission. Although small, the baked goods are so good here. They are also very creative with their pastries. This is the only shop I can find gigantic pineapple buns. One of the bun here equals to probable 4 to 5 regular buns that you would typically find at dim sum. They can also custom made cakes from 6 inch to whatever sizes you want with various different flavors and designs. We just ordered a 6 in chestnut cake with rose flower decoration for my mom's birthday. Order was done efficiently and timely. We ordered the cake one day before and was able to pick it up by next morning. I also like their Chinese pastries. One of my favorites is their Portuguese egg tart or Pastéis de Nata as they called the Custer in Portugal. The skin is so crispy and the egg tart filling tasted so good. I just can't stop eating them. Probably I have to run a couple of miles the next day to burn off the calories. There are so many great pastries here. I just have to come back to try them all. The owner is so friendly and she is always very helpful to introduce us to new products.“
“Had a Taro Milk Tea. Satisfies a craving and not too bad for the price. Have been here years so familiar with the drinks and they won't be a must have. Just moreso convenient and accessible. Keep in mind they prefer cash, using credit requires a $.50 charge.
Parking: Small plaza. But decent amount of parking for a quick stop.“

“There are a lot of amazing restaurants in Los Angeles. The Barn is my favorite.
The concept: a no frill take on the very best of Asian foods from Japan, China and Korea.
Service: the service at the Barn is amazing. The waiters that work there are all cool and welcoming when you come in, although,
It’s not a red carpet kind of place m, they know you are there for the food! They’ve managed to reduce a number of steps which allows you to get your foods faster. Ordering is done on your mobile device via a QR code by your table. Almost as soon as you ‘submit your order,’ food starts arriving! I absolutely love this and wish more restaurants would adopt this. The waiters regularly come by and are always more than happy to grab something out missed it. Clicking ‘request check’ on the mobile device and they will bring the ticket by promptly.
Food:
The absolute highlight of the barn is the chefs creations. The Green Beans are absolutely to die for. I don’t know what the special ingredients they use are, but my mouth is watering thinking about this speciality! They offer yakitori; the teriyaki chicken is a favorite along with the wagyu beef. The bacon wrapped asparagus is on the regular order list, along with the cheese corn which is some of the best I’ve had. I don’t get it every time I’m there but the spicy firecracker chicken wings are amazing!
Ambiance:
A single row of tables line the restaurant adorn with cool decorations throughout the restaurant. One of my favorite things about visiting the barn is the eclectic choice of music they play which changes up every night.
Wish I could give The Barn 35 out of 5 stars but they only allow me to select five stars. Hope you get to try it out and enjoy it as well!“

“Came to You to pick up some Northern Chinese breads and wow, we devoured. The beef roll, green onion pancake, and sesame Chinese pancake (which was made fresh to order hence the 25 minute wait) were all so flavorful — I felt like I was back in my Nai Nai’s kitchen! The textures were perfect, especially the green onion pancake with its mochi-like pull. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!“
