Waited over 1 hour for the restroom and had to go elsewhere to pee. Didn't try the food or drinks. I'm not a big pool fan anyway, but if you are, this place is great! Just use the restroom before you get here.“

The Singapore char siu reminds me of a famous dish back in hometown and it's the closest I can find in the state at Kue's. I love the tenderness and not oily fat part, which is very rare and hard to find in pork dishes.
Love the taishan style eel clay pot rice too, very big portions, we usually order when we just got to the restaurant because it takes a longer time to cook.
House chicken salad is not bad, i think it's a bit fusion with the pickled ginger.
Sui chow king is another one that i like, especially the deep fried tarot with a lot of dried fish.
The servers are nice, they would help mixing and serving rices, soups etc.“

I have obsessively been coming to The Wolves whenever I’m in LA, and it never disappoints. The Agua Buena is hands-down the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life.

Their other cocktails are just as impressive… my friends always order different ones, and every drink has such unique, inventive flavor profiles that just work. The small bites are delicious too.

“I was having such a grand old time at La Fe that I wanted to take a picture of my experience. I set my phone on a ledge, but my phone fell through a crack. La Fe’s STAR employee, Caleb, had to dismantle the freakin’ couch using power tools in order to retrieve my phone. It took so much work and time and I’m so grateful. Aside from the superb service, La Fe is such a perfect spot for a date or for chilling with friends because of the stylish and hip decor. I would def recommend!“

One of the reason why this is such a great place to be able to still socialize while there music and other people is cus the surround system is vintage and was personalized to be played up high over everything which makes the place more comfortable. The food was marvelous wasn't expecting a Mediterranean twist but definitely loving it gave the food a special kick to the flavors . The combination of the spices and texture made the food amazing. I tried the steak and fries 10/10 and the shrimp roll be cause I love shrimp. And I loved them both . Personally I like dillso I was ok with the shrimp roll but for my ppl that dont like to try new thing I would recommend to stay away. The drinks were delicious. I had mexican can shots and Jennifer gray . Both I highly recommend. Also a mango cart cocktail but which was delicious also but it has a habanero taste to it thats not my favorite. But still enjoyed it. Something else I learned was the mixers are made natural from all the spices or fruits . Naturally extracted with also give the drinks that extra flavor. More natural and not processes. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy with friends. There was actually a birthday being celebrated and they show movies on a roll down projector this is event worthy for people looking to host an event here.“

“I'm def not cool enough to come here but IDC I'm still going!!!! My hubs and I like to grab a seat at the bar, start with a spritz and a snack, and read together. Obviously we follow up with a glass of wine or a frosty beer. The service is impeccable, no one have us crap for hanging out sippin our drinks and reading our books. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which makes such a difference in the atmosphere.

“Visited LA and was invited to this bar from some friends I made at the Precinct! Instantly loved the vibes as I walked in. Has a punk-rock vibe with some retro themes throughout and colored lighting. Tried the dirty martini and it was made to perfection for an LA night out drink!“

“Did my popup there on a Saturday and it was super fun!!! The whole Verdugo team were slammed but kept it together and stayed super positive and welcoming. The clientele were very friendly and patient. Everyone was mingling and the DJ was doing pretty good. I need to go back and dance!“

This place has a Japanese cocktail bar aesthetic to it, heavy wood paneling, well made drinks, Japanese whiskeys. Keen and detail oriented eyes oversaw it's restructure....

I like the ambiance here, the drinks are reasonably priced for LA and kudos to the barkeeps for the evening, a woman with the best hips and a man with a chiseled jaw and a smirk slung well-made drinks. I'd come back.“

I also tried a jamón croqueta and grilled octopus, both of which were flavorful. The wine list is modest but thoughtfully selected. The ambiance is dim and cozy, with candles and exposed brick. The only thing is noise — during peak hours it gets loud, but that’s part of the energy.“

“This place is narrow but an absolute gem of a place for live fairly intimate music performances. The sound system is great, the service even better, and the crowd very fun. It's also incredibly convenient to get to via train from Union Station so you really kinda have zero excuse if you get a DUI.

Not sure how the table situation works but I'm assuming you have to get there early to score one or at the bar. Otherwise it's standing room only with a few loose stools toward the rear atrium section.

The only true but minor inconvenience is the having to swipe/pay for every drink purchase. I get the why but the service and drink options make up for it.“
