“Absolutely love Nabemono Shabu Shabu. We were finally able to enjoy a dine in experience, and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful space and great service. “We ordered the signature beef hotpot set, the oyster pancake, a pork claypot, and a soup noodle. The beef cuts and the pork meatballs are unique. They all tasted great and didn't suffer from a dreaded common occurrence where every dish tasted the same, like it's made from one sauce. Service was pretty good too. Price wasn't too bad, $115 before tip for those said items. As far as I know, this is the only place that serve this style of beef hot pot (one reviewer said otherwise). Place is kinda small so i can see waiting maybe an issue, the Parking space is right just for the amount of tables they have.“

“Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. “My first time enjoying HotPot. I was included with a party that rented a private room upstairs- delicious food and excellent service. These rooms are spacious for private parties. I had never tried snakehead fish. I was fresh and my favorite of all the fresh sliced meats.“

“This place is more of a drinking bar. I tried this place out 2× and food was nasty so I never went back again until recently my friends wanted to go there to drink so I tried it the 3rd time. The saying goes 3rd time the charm and yes the food was actually good this time, I enjoyed every dishes that was ordered.“

“Nice 2 Meet U has reopened after renovation and the space feels noticeably better than before. Brighter cleaner and much more comfortable to sit in for a full hot pot meal. Ventilation is also improved so you do not leave smelling like hot pot which is a big plus.

Food quality is solid and familiar but with clear upgrades especially the meat. They now offer more freshly sliced beef and you can really see the difference. We ordered several cuts including hanger steak spoon cut snowflake beef and beef tendon. Everything was sliced fresh nicely presented and cooked very quickly in the broth. The beef was tender clean tasting and did not rely heavily on dipping sauce.

Skewers are still very affordable at 0.49 each with options like spicy marinated beef chicken gizzard and beef enoki rolls. There is also a good selection of small plates and braised items. Small plates are 5.99 each and include tripe seaweed beef tendon fish tofu shrimp paste meatballs abalone and more. Everything looked fresh and was easy to grab.

Do not skip the fried rice. It comes topped with a runny egg and is very flavorful. It ended up being one of the most memorable dishes of the meal.

Overall this feels like a strong comeback for a spot many people already liked before. Better environment more choices and improved quality while keeping the pricing reasonable. Definitely worth revisiting especially if you enjoyed this place in the past.“

“Very nice small restaurant selling specialty noodles and some side items. The potato noodles have a firmer texture, kinda like soba, the soup was delicious. Chicken bone was also very good. There was an old couple working there, very friendly. Price was reasonable, highest it goes was $13 for the house special noodle. Overall a great place to try something new and unique.“
