“My awarding of four stars was done sometime ago. It sure wasn't a four-star experience this time. They had three employees there, two of whom were futsing around with one of the drink machines while the remaining employee tried her best to take care of everyone standing in line for sandwiches. She was rushing and rushing to try to keep the line moving, but it really was too much for one person to be expected to do. Finally, just as I got to the counter, one of the other two employees came to the sandwich counter to help. The worst thing, though, was the temperature. The restaurant was extremely hot and despite fans turning up on the very high ceiling, there was virtually no air movement. The thermostat on the wall showed 89°. It was a very uncomfortable environment for everyone, but especially the employees who were rushing around in that heat.“

“This was my first time at My Dung. The atmosphere and vibes were good. The customer service was good as well. I paid $7 and paid through Zelle. They only take cash or Zelle. I got the grilled chicken Banh Mi. It was okay. The chicken was tough. It tasted like it was either over cooked or left out for a long time. The bread was flaky and not too tough. I’ll give the customer service 5.0 🌟 and the Banh Mi 3.0 🌟.“

Mom loves Milanesa and the fried sides are YUMM too! I learned how to make my voice heard at the old little market. The big construction men at lunch time would be shouting out their orders. “The bread is great, I have bought a few loafs there (top tip come at the end of the day and you get ten percent off bakery items) the food is good I had the roast beef sandwich, it was good but I didn’t quite like the soft bun that they used, and I asked if I could choose the bread next time, unfortunately they said that there were no substitutions on bread which is a bummer.

I do like the dining area it has a nice old time diner feel.“

“What a hidden gem! I had the Sunrise Sandwich customized with roast beef instead of bacon, sourdough instead of a croissant, scrambled egg, and provolone. Absolute perfection. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and their signature aioli brought it all together. I would’ve posted a photo, but I absolutely destroyed the sandwich before I even thought about it. Trust me, it was beyond delicious. The portions are huge—I’m taking the other half home, labeling it, and I will literally throw hands if anyone touches it. I already can’t wait to finish it. I’m still blown away that we have a place like this in El Monte. Such an upgrade from the usual Subway or Jersey Mike’s. Great quality, generous portions, and definitely worth what you’re paying. “First time here. I ordered the Steak chimichurri sandwich. It was delicious. Had lots of flavor. My kid had their pizza, and we're very happy with it as well. All in all it was good experience for my first time. Will definitely come back and try a different meal.“

“Okay… I’m just gonna say it: this burger puts In-N-Out to shame! 😂 The burger was SO juicy, with that beautiful sear on the patty that gave it such an amazing flavor. The pickles were delicious, and that Thousand Island dressing tied the whole burger together perfectly. And that toasted bun?! 🤌🏽🔥 Everything just worked.

The fries were also so good—nice and crispy on the outside while still soft and fluffy on the inside. Exactly how I like my fries!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. I came hungry and left VERY happy. 😂

“I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

It’s an d-school, simple deli that doesn’t stand out cosmetically, but it’s clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.“

My wife just brought me back a Mr. G's (she did it right and got everything on the side that wasn't meat and cheese) and it was still the best Sandwhich I've ever had. It's truly that good. “We had a delicious meal at Monty's that serves hot and cold sandwiches, chicken and waffles and breakfast all day! We tried their G-moe's cheesesteak - the bread was soft and the steak was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the cheese and mushrooms. We also had the steak breakfast burrito which is one of my tops on the area. The tortilla is thin, egg is fluffy, waffle fries are crisp and cheese and meat was spot on! Sweet potato fries and house-made potato salad were tasty too. The staff are friendly, prices and portions are great and easy parking in the plaza. Definitely recommend a visit!“

“This is one of those local gem mom and pop restaurants that everyone loves. Great sandwiches, great onion rings and good prices. The restaurant itself it a little dated and the owners say very little, but the food speaks for itself. I've been coming here since I was a kid and will continue coming until I no longer can.

“So happy we stopped by O Banh Mi for some delicious banh mi for a late to-go lunch while visiting Silver Lake! The lemongrass chicken and beef banh mi sandwiches were flavorful, fresh, and swiftly prepared, but what I really enjoyed was chatting with the owner, Natalie, who was so friendly and kind to me and my toddler. Vietnamese coffee was also perfect. We can't wait to return on our next trip back to LA!“

Some of the less ordered dishes can take up to 10 minutes, esp during prime lunch hour when the line is long. Even so, ordering is quick amd the food is good.“

“Went to their toasted sandwiches a rowdy tourist bought all the avocado by the pound so I nearly left without ordering ... then I tried their italian sub and suddenly everything was fine again. Honestly the bread they use is incredible, still crunchy but doesnt tear up your mouth at all which is rare for me. I wasnt expecting much because tourist spots hit or miss but this place actually made my day better for real ... they have this one side salad with like pickled onions and I grabbed it on a whim ... I finished every bite and thought about buying a second one. I sat outside and just watched people walk around and felt super lucky to have stopped here, would totally drive back just for lunch.“

They are always welcoming and friendly towards me upon entering and assisting in making me my favorite veggie sandwich with a little to no issue present. Angel, especially has been always kind, high spirits, providing excellent customer service and with his signature smile and warm personality.

“Best tuna sandwich, ever! They serve albacore, which to me, is the best tuna out there! They also serve real cheese! I had cheddar on mine. It was delicious! So fresh, and I get mine untoasted, so with lettuce and tomato, it was cold and perfect!

We love the food and the restaurant in general. But here we had to ask three times for someone to clean the table, and at that time the place was not busy.
As I mentioned before the food at Mendocino is excellent, the service and cleanliness here at the Americana location needs improvement.
We will try this location again and if things have improved I will adjust the rating to 5 stars.“

“Today, was our first time to Togo's Sandwiches. We drove 15 miles. We ordered a hot pastrami, French dip, cheesesteak, California Club and turkey, ham and cheddar sandwich. I also picked up a chocolate chip cookie. Today, I had the pastrami for lunch and cheesesteak for dinner. The sandwiches were delicious. The bread was soft, lots of meat, I added lettuce and mayo. My husband had the California club. He loved the soft bread. The sandwiches were made fresh. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely go back. I wish the Togo was closer to my house. “I am a fan favorite of Lee’s especially the banh mi and iced coffee. When I moved back to Cali I was excited to see how many Lee’s there are through expansion. However I have been disappointed with ALL of them except for the one in Pasadena. Always great service, the bread is always soft with great texture (not stale), plenty of meat. Other Lee’s give and embarrassing amount of meat. Lee’ Pasadena I will always drive extra to come see you.“

“My new go to place for banh mi! They're open until pretty late for a banh mi place, which I appreciated when I needed to grab some sandwiches at 8:30 pm for a late dinner.

They offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread banh mi. One is $6.25 so when you order two and get one free, it comes out to be about $4 each. The sandwiches I've gotten so far (grilled pork and grilled beef) are the most stuffed I've seen in a round banh mi!

I couldn't leave without trying their egg rolls and pate chaud. They're $1.30 each or 3 pieces for $3.75. Solid egg rolls and pate chaud.

Parking in this supermarket plaza can be a little crazy. Park towards the side to avoid the traffic.“
